Maybe think about what season would suit it best too since I doubt you want to fill in your entire island with custom tiles. Maybe winter or Autumn would go well? @worldly notch super late response but I just happened to scroll up on the chat - depending on the cliff (i.e. if it's decorative) sometimes it's not necessary to add anything! I also dug up a neat ladder design you're talking about tho, so it's attached in case you want it. I coincidentally use the door panel design in that pic to make one of my areas seem like a two story building where you can walk in via the door for the cliff in the back so no incline was necessary

if you absolutely love the brick keep using it !! if you love the path so much you need to use it then just use it!! my whole island was stone paths then i switched to cottage core & used the path. i think it’s worth it. just do it little by little @icy sedge

@limber ginkgo I have a second stone path (you can see a tiny bit in the left side of the image) that I've used for secondary paths all around and on my "villager island" in the middle lol. I think these stones will mix better with THE path than they do with the brick

does anyone have any tips for islands with a lot of raised ground? (i forget the proper word for it lol) I am making my island have a lot of these hills and I just wanted to know if anyone had some general tips about landscaping/ do's and donts! If you're readinn this I hope you have a lovely day!

I don’t fully understand what you mean by this, but I’ve got a bunch of cliffs on my island, and my favorite thing to do as far as terraforming is to make cute little hidden pathways @solid fox

I made some little nooks in the cliffs to give it a closed in feel, as well as some spots where you have to jump to get to certain locations :)!
