@digital crane the bottom row of tables and chairs are fine, push the table in the middle against the bushes (along with the chairs) and move the two benches to the grass in front of them and flip them so they face the other way

@daring crescent it isnt wise to pick flowers based on season unless you want to change them every 3 months. in this case, white pansies, white/red mums, black tulips, and other breeds with this pallet both compliment and match the snow

my solution to spending eternity terraforming is to work with the natural layout of your island and only terraform when you need to or have an ambitous idea

Literally just pick a spot on your map that you have space and make a thing, be it a grand entrance to your museum or a small zen garden hidden away. I feel like once you actually start doing something its easy to keep going and building, i really don't suggest wiping out whatever you have and flattening the island because it makes it 10x harder to do anything imo

You can have almost no trees, but can balance it out with different flowers. You can also have weeds, as long as you just keep the balance up.
About items. Place them around the map, concentrate at some spots. Just decorate multiple spots. Have bridges/inclines is also a plus.
