@proven hedge The lakes in the front are all rectangular and draw your eye across the bottom horizontally. Maybe slant the shape of the lakes a bit, more diagonals?

Found a much better and bigger space to place Sherbs house and I’m going to start designing his yard before placing the house, but I’m completely stuck. Any ideas? That’s my island and it doesn’t feel big at all. I do use 2 square paths everywhere though. Can’t stand 1 square paths. My bottom level is a “forest” or park. Second is shopping and museum, third is neighborhood

@woven drift I’ve seen some people make little bridges when their airport is quite close to their RS, maybe you could put a bridge, or incorporate some water and tiny waterfalls to create a refreshing view as soon as you walk off the dock! Or even putting some street lamps and flowers that match your islands main colour theme if you notice any reoccurring colours on your island! Just making an organized space for an entrance is a wonderful start

Leaving star fragments around and having the telescope definitely give the area the ‘stargazing’ feel as well! Waterfalls around it are nice as well, as long as you’re okay with the sound of the water while you’re in the area!

@drowsy epoch After spending like hours and hours looking at my own map and others, I think that sometimes looking at the whole picture may not be the best idea. The maps make things look very plain and empty, where as maybe if you looked at things closer up you could get a better feel for the usage of space. I think your map layout is great! Especially with how the space used with buildings looks, all I can suggest though is maybe just run around a couple more times and thing about little things you could add, or even look at other maps and see if there’s something that catches your eye

There is literally no platform that can serve as a display stand for fossils since the smallest one is 4x4
As for bug models, a standard table will do, but finding the appropriate table is the challenge here

Plus the grand models are like 4x4, like the G.Q.A. Moth Model
