@hearty pumice anything can look good if you put time and love into it. The idea of spreading out villagers is a good one too. And I think I could look great on a cliff behind the RS if you teraform well or interesting enough.

@tacit star maybe start on the other things first. it's hard to make a big island for your house then adjust the surrounding afterward. i think what i did to my island is finished everything first then figured out what to do with my house.

@tacit star id say start with paths that go through ypur whole island, every home, every place. then as you do you may see places that would example look good for a cafe, then you make a cafe. and maybe to some terraforming around the paths and youll get there

Yeah you should clear more area. The size is fine. I’ve done this trick myself and had no problems but maybe the problem lies under the fact that you only have ONE spot for it to spawn when 6 is the max it can spawn

i have nooks and tailors near eachother but thats because i have a trading entrance to allow easy access to shops and stalls for trading. I also have jump gates to close and open my island as needed while people visit.
