@lone fossil I've seen worse. You can make it happen. Either with trees to make it like a forest entrance or with lots of cliffs and waterfalls if you want to somehow cover the RS. Or... You can make a nice pathway with outside decorations leading to RS

@faint depot my biggest tip is to not terraform a massive part at once. i basically terraformed half of my island and i hate it. now i have to re do it all. just work on your island bit by bit. trust me it’ll save you time! 🙂

This is the courtyard of the people I'm decorating. Olivia,fang's yard in order. Olivia's yard will be luxurious, and Fang's yard will be made his own study. @feral adder I don’t think it’s bad. You could put a small opening at the indent at the right, maybe add more trees On the cliff in front of RS to make it feel more secretive. You could also put a log stool with a terrarium on top or beekeeper’s hives on the cliff if you want it to feel more natural.

So I’ve recently restarted over my old save of ACNH & I’ve gotten terraforming again and have gotten to the point of where I’m wanting to build my neighbourhood area, but I’m conflicted on going with either one of the two styles that I’ve seen and need opinions on which one you guys would rather see, so I’m stuck between the options of going with

• having the area set up with a house on each side in a going upwards till it’s at least 5 houses per side, instead of having cutomised yards or anything there will be multiple flowerbeds and chairs and stuff through the middle area, this has more of a modern feel to it like a fancy neighbourhood sort of feel to it (like in the first photo)

Or

• having the area set up in with 5 houses in the front row and then having 5 houses on another level behind it with each house having a small customised yards (like in the second photo)

Pls let me know your opnions as this will really help me decide!
