Hey guys just a quick question
Im looking to build a theatre in my island and put on plays for an audience - is anyone skilled be able to help / has anyone done it before and give tips
Here’s some inspo I found on Pinterest, I’ve not done a theatre before but I might now that you’ve brought it up lol.
Guys I need help, my ables sisters and nooks used to be here but I moved it to my entrance and I haven't got a clue on what to replace it with, any ideas?
I'm looking for some inspiration for some rainbow core? Does anyone have anything they'd like to share? I feel like I've watched the same 4 island tours.
Definitely a bakery with some outdoor seating. Maybe a fountain maybe a little park. A place to feed birds or bike.
I have this I tried to recreate in my own way and failed miserably. First thing I thought of when you said rainbow core. Have you looked at Pinterest? There’s at least a ton of fun codes.
A bakery would be so cute!
Anybody have ideas on a foresty meadowcore shopping district build? I want it to be at least near my entrance, I don't have a whole lot of room to work with unfortunately but if you want to take a look at what my entrance currently looks like, send me a DM. Perhaps after you've seen the entrance you'll know what I'm talking about.
New island entrance
a little unsure on what to do with the res services, might add benches and streetlights or a phone box around it
Guys, I have 5 pink and 5 white, what should be the format for one of my spots on my island
the little table setup is so cute!
-# sickeningly late but oh my gawsh i love this aesthetic so much
your island looks so good !!
My Practical Magic inspired island is coming along! Finished Sally’s apothecary! It’s so cute I want to go inside every time I pass by 😭
Do you have a dream address? Would like to visit your island
Edit: ive found it!! Hey everyone could someone please help me find the patchwork custom design code please? I lost it alongside my old island, thank you so much
OH. MY. STARS
I have a similar idea for my next island (mostly inspired by Witchbrook) and this is just the vibe I'll be trying to achieve.
Your way of combining antique and modern items is so perfect
laying down on what would be leading to the residences homes
Hey, I was wondering if someone could give some tips on what or how I should fill this entrance up with. Im struggling 😭
The style im going for is fall 🍁
leaf piles and some benches maybe? Use those Halloween pumpkins but turn them around so the faces aren’t showing
Not yet! But I will post it when I get closer to completion ♥️
Was revamping my island, now fearing update next year is gonna make want to redo it again lol
My theme is pretty loose but it's ghibli inspired small town with tech and nature in harmony and sprinkle of magical elements
Thank you!!!
My flower rainbow road that I'm pretty happy with
2 of each flower in game
Sorry shino lol
What is the dodo code?
@hushed flame the island is only half done tbh
But will gladly share it when I'm ready to ^^
Hi there everyone! I was hoping to get some feedback back on this layout design I made up. I don’t currently have a set aesthetic, but am open for suggestions! Thank you, have wonderful morning/evening/night :3
ur res service is in such a good spot
Thanks! I was so happy to get it exactly in the centre with the rivers. I was like score! Haha
Omg your island is almost the exact layout as mine, down to the pier, rivers, private beach, everything! My resident services is a little to the right and closer to the airport than yours though. I can send you my dream address if you want to see what I've done with the island! It's far from finished but my entrance area is pretty developed
Oh yes I would love that! I can go on in a few if that works for you or later on!
I won't be home for a couple hours and I have to save my island but I'll post the dream code when I can
Okay! I’m going head to sleep probably won’t be up until 2-3ish pst.
A couple photos of my entrance, really proud of my sand and roman mosaic patterns, my island is Tropical/ Historic themed
It's da-1892-7171-3275
does anyone know what these items are to make this?
Storefronts, covered counter, ranch chairs, cherry jam, bread, pretzels, small covered table
Oh and counter tables and pancakes
I'm trying to make my frist kidcore iland.
Anyone have a good kidcore design.
thank you!
Ive never attempted to design my islnd, ive draw this, what are you guys’s opinions and ideas on what to add in the empty spaces
i’m trying to put together a little record shop area, but it’s still missing something.. any advice on what to add (especially to the empty space on the bench)?
maybe a little rug or a drink?
hello!! my museum is situated on a cliff right next to the beach and i’m too lazy to move everything. any suggestions on how to soften the drop off? i hate the palm tree but it’s better than nothing
this is so cutie!! i think a snack or maybe some stacked books could be cute!
a custom design album!
Made an ornamental garden! I think it looks super cute
Maybe another shrub on that bit of cliff there?
Omg this is gorgeous???
Wish my island looked as cool as your guys'
An area i completed recently for the upcoming hotel update, thus leads to the dock
In progress area
( need more Pisces fragments :’) )
Does anyone have any ideas for those spaces? It’s my entrance area
farmer's market, lounge area, music/theatre area with a stage, a display for art or a diy series, seasonally changing area (halloween, festive, bunny day etc)?
Anyone have any ideas on what I could do to try to fill this gap? Was thinking of putting a tree there but I didn’t want it to seem too crowded 🙂
what about a castle tower? that's what i used when i made something similar for my resident services
Can anyone help me build my dream island? I just started animal crossing and I immediately fell in love with a island I found on YouTube.
I dont have too much experience but i can try
I tried that but it’s too big to fit there 🙁 but I could always just move my bridge.. thank you!!
I can give 100m bells or 1000nmt to anyone who can help me design and finish my island
this is so pretty!!!💙💜🤍
Ive never attempted to design my islnd, ive draw this, what are you guys’s opinions and ideas on what to add in the empty spaces
can somebody give me any input?
my theme is cottagecore/farmcore
im gonna add some more smaller rivers, im good with the ponds, i set up a tree orchard but i want a space for a veggie garden -- might add something in the lefthand corner where the campsite is (that whole space is residential but i could fix it up a bit)
i dont want it cramped but i dont want it spaced out yk??
Will prob redo/ add more later once i have more unlocked, anyone have any tips, unsure on fencing? Havent unlocked terraforming yet but hopefully will soon
sugar cane farm i just finished working on
i say custom codes go a long way for filling in open space! i think the fencing looks great for that area though
I've made a couple Cottagecore islands before, and all of them were quite crowded, so you can take what you want from this and leave the rest. I would suggest adding more of the second level, now- this could be cliffs, a big mountain, a hill, a small mountain, a hill that has a path down it so it's like a little walkway- it could be anything you want!
I would also put a river, of whatever size you want, starting from the top of the map and ending wherever you want. With that, you can section things out better, and it gives you an excuse for more bridges >:3
ah thank you!! I'm still planning things out so nothing's set in stone just yet lol, I'll be sure to add some stuff!
I’m proud of my little thanksgiving feast beach
anyone know what i can do with the top right of the island?
already have an idea of a library near the villagers and a rest spot near it
amusement park most likely for the left side
but ain't sure what else
kinda figured it out to having this
lot of water on the island
Plant shop build
possibly final design for bluebelle! might add some more little spots not pictured but im gonna rely on natural-ish terrain and builds
star gazing spot! i might add 6 more blankets in the future (when i save up enough money for another switch 2 in 2026-)
Any thoughts on where I should put my house? I’ve almost finished the rest of this layout, but my characters home feels like it’s in an awkward spot!
maybe try to do it near the spot where it originally was, but center it a little with a little bridge? if not, then idk
need design help. i wanna add some medieval walls near my residences area to compliment the blue castle walls i have but i dont want too much blue. which variant would be the best to go with the blue and white?
If you mean the medieval building side item, then this one! Roof matches the stairs, orange is one of the complimentary colors to blue so makes the blue stand out but not look too samey
Ooh is that meant to be a Shine Sprite from Mario Sunshine??
Sorry it doesn't answer your question, but I like the design
It is! My island name is Delfino!!
Nice!
hey yall! looking for tips/advice on best practices for intentionally decorating and terraforming an island. are there any apps you’ve used to help with terraforming ? i’m currently creating a wishlist with all my wants decor wise using acnh.guide
Soooooooooo. As someone who has created multiple islands I’ll tell you this , There isn’t any app per se to help you terraform because it’s completely organic!
However , there are some amazing guides on YouTube that’ll help you learn how to terraform , I recommend Lex Play , Danascrossing , Horrible Gaming (if citycore)
So I went full Bene Gessereit
Im liking my entrance
hey guys started up a new island recently and after some name generation, and some brain power, i came up with the name "Neon Row." I feel this name inherently invokes some sort of city aesthetic but i was curious what some other people thought i could do based off the name
and also what sort of custom designs i could use would go a long way too
I cant unthink of anything related to neon tubes/lights, which would include: Night clubs; advertisement/billboards (You know those hanging in the streets you walk through left and right down low up high, idk like in Vegas or asia, for example); futuristic dystopian cities; Tron movies; Public sanitary rooms; medical areas
hey guys its my first time "tryharding" animal crossing more after i restart my island. I just watched a guide on how to do fake buildings for my new citycore island. Do you guys have any idea how i can catalogue all of the needed mats? esp th epanels and displays and such? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYYAr2O9mKw. Would be glad to get any recommendation on how to get thema fast thanks a lot!
Hello everyone! In today's video I show you how to create 19 different fake buildings that can fit in multiple themes and aesthetics so you'll never need to struggle with creating fake buildings in acnh again.

You dont need to anymore with the blue alpaca guy
He can change any item to any other color of that item
Cyrus thats his name
Oh you didnt mean versions
Is there enough space to bring it forward and give that beach section over to being your private beach? I did something similar and gave that front corner over to player home/beach garden.
Personally I’d put my house on that fab island you’ve created for the camp, and put the campsite on the beach! But that might not fit with your plan.
double sunken area
Asain food district in progress lol
Outdoor tea shop build this morning
my boardwalk build c:
Help! I can’t figure out the best way to decorate my villager yard! I want it to be in the same vibe as picture 1, and it doesn’t need to be villager specific. If anyone has item/design suggestions they would be very appreciated!
Turkey day garden stand or two, nova lights in yellow, blue hyacinths, some vines and a white tulip or two is what I would add.
to those who give their villagers front yards, do you find they actually interact with the items you place in the yards more often? I know they usually have a period of time where they like, sweep around the front of their house. Debating whether or not I should change the back yards to front yards.
Finished beach area on my island
Could I have the code for the water and the rocks?! I love them!!!
here you go ^^
Still WIP but Marshall next to the bear amuses me
I took some inspo from the first AC
took a sort of sci fi spin on a hydro electric plant, i think it’s pretty cool :]
this is so so cool!

omg ty!!
You're either thinking of the covered counter or azumaya gazebo :DD
finally finished my map last night
just need to finish the last bit of decorating before i move onto the interiors of the homes
Before and after of my little grotto🙌
does anyone have any ideas on what to put/make here in this small area ☹️
Do you have a coffee truck area yet?
Nope
That’s what I would put there. Or a cafe since it looks like you’re going for a city core type island
ooh those ideas sound nice thank youu!
Ramen shop basically done and I like it
Hello everyone! I need a bit of help.
I am really close with finishing to decorating my Island but I am stuck on a very small section of it (I marked it with a red line in one of the pictures).
The area is surrounded by Dobi’s house, my farm, a rock farm and an overgrown bamboo forest while also being close to a rivers end xD
For now I added a bit of the overgrown bamboo forest theme to that small section and I used to have a shrine on my island so I put 2 dog statues and the gong I used to have on my island.
But I don’t think it looks that good.. anyone has any bright ideas to share with me?
Wow your island looks amazing! For that red area maybe you can put a lot of wheat fields and a tractor?
Or maybe a little farmer's market
Tbh the tractor is a good idea! I will get one and see how it looks!!
Thank you for your compliment <3
In terms of farmers market.. There is already one xD
does anyone know where i could commission someone to help design my map layout? acnh hard out here with no creativity and everything you place being bad
Hii I think you can ask in #player-services!
So uh, I got a question bout my island, idk if it goes in #game-help-questions❓ but I have 3 pipes, where should I put them all?
Should I like buy 4 and put one on each corner of the island?
I would put them near areas you go to a lot so it's easier to get there such as your house, resident services, and the stores
But the corners is a good idea too!
Oh, I have all the shops down on the lower row so I'm using a pair for the museum I for some reason decided to put on the tippiest of tops of the left hand corner of my island
Ohh lol then yeah maybe the corners would be better then you'd be able to travel to general areas of your island quicker
Sushi+bento restaurant design
This has probably been asked a bunch of times, but I've been working on flattening my island to then create a more citycore vibe while having a homey look to it. Does anyone have recommended DAs to visit for inspiration? I'm liking the looks of this image I found on pinterest for inspiration
Nora/Horrible Gaming on Youtube does a lot of city islands if you want to check her out. My island is kinda trashy/forest/city so DA to mine is 2880-8743-9736. I don't know how up to date my DA is though since it's been a while.
Oooo thank you! I'll check both out later
Horrible Gaming uses the patterns in your image I should add on some of her islands. So if you are sold on those patterns, that'll probably help more.
Can someone help me get an idea on the flag for my island please? Really all I have so far is the main color is blue and my island theme is modern cozy village
hey guyss does anyone have an idea on how to start building your island? I always get carried away and things take a lot of space so would it be smart to do all the paths first and then decorate later? Thank you!
either your island name in blue or just make it something you like! (Mine is literally reigens face so dont worry if theres not much thought put into it)
play around with borders and patterns maybe?
you can go back to luna and say About my island dream… and update it from there 👍
Oh wait I literally cant read my bad
well thats how you do it if you wanted to update it anyway🥲
haha yeah, I just always forget to chat with her. Thank you anyway! ❤️
I’m obsessed with city builds
I need help with some ideas for some designs.
If I open my gates can anyone help me out?
I’ve got an overgrown trash/city build pretty much finished. No DA (still working on interiors) but I’m happy to have visitors!
anyone willing to come to my island and offer tips on how to fill some of my areas? dm for dodo
Anyone got ideas for a farm not using any of the actual vegetables? (I guess like pre 2.0 vibes) im trying to make a farm for like acorns and peanuts and stuff for my candyland neighborhood and I think im doing the tree stunting thing wrong
You can get the lil watermelon balls (beach ball) to make a watermelon farm. I did that with a some mum cushions. I also made a strawberry farm before on the beach. You take red pansies and run over them to be buds to look like little strawberries. Hope this helps!
By far my favourite island build yet :D I love how it's coming together
a fellow cyberpunk builder 🤝 i love this build!! teaches me to abuse the fairy more often lol
Yess! I got inspired by the game Stray ^^
omg i love stray!! the robots in that game in particular make me so happy
decided to restart cause my island felt really repetitive and not so creative... so here's the entrance of my new island that's gonna be multi themed with a touch of retro and dark fairycore (and a soon to be gnome surprise but we have a long way until that)
Okay yall so I'm at work, I can't send any pics yet, but with the 3.0 update coming in a couple months, I've started working on planning my island again, because I have some vision but it's been a very slow WIP and I'm now more confident with all the QOL updates coming that ai can make it come true.
My island theme is "music festival" with inspiration from Electric Forest.
What are some important furniture items I might want to pursue for setting up different areas on my island or in homes themed around elements of a music festival?
I'm thinking stages, vendors, camping, showers, art installations etc.
I stole somw pics/ideas from other players and have some general ideas, but more direct dialog can really help get my brain working.
I figure at the very least I can start working on getting recipes and materials and items even if I don't feel ready to start decorating
I need help clearing flowers and weeds, can anyone give tips? (Idk what channel to be in)
Midwest emo animal crossing
Anybody have panels?
The clouds were a paid actor
Not my image! This is from aestheticaly(.)net, does anyone know what fence this is in the middle please? 😊
I am not sure if the picture is real or edited, because I cant remember having fence gates in the game, the fences left & right from the gate don't look like existing ones, and the door before the tree in the background looks sus (+I was browsing in my list of all ACNH items and didn't find the "fence gate")
Thank you so much, it did look || m*dded || I wanted to double check here
Looks ai
either ai or modded
def ai, these fruits look off
slowly but surely…
i’m broke and don’t have terraforming yet so this is what my best can do without paths so far
but my dream is a pink paradise (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
That Ramen Shop is awesome!!!!
What a nice start to your entry!
My bakery where my museum used to be
thanks to a lovely person, i made my entrance pink as i imagined!
the paths were laid down using the designs app on nookphone… i don’t have 3 stars yet for the easier path laying lol
but it looks cute so i’m happy!
Hello, it's me again... after procrastinating so much... again
I initially thought about saving money for a switch 2 to make 2 more islands but it's not worth it. So, I'll be slightly modifying my current island to add certain aspects of the other 2 ideas I had
I know there were a few people waiting for me to release my DA but it's gonna take even longer than I first estimated, especially with the new update coming next year. Sorry
Decided to add a 2nd story to ramen shop
This is the first time I've ever fallen for ai I am so sorry 😭
omg so cute!! i love the way you used the booths on the top floor
this is a better view now that it’s morning hehe
I‘ve decided to change my island to a more city looking-style but idkkkk
Oooo I like it. That spot is also nice for seasonal if you want to have a seasonal decor change.
theres no method just zone out clicking a while watching something is my method
Anybody have this recipe?
What date and time did you set your island to?
I really really love the vibe and atmosphere
Which combo is better??? i need help to decide
I will say the one on the left looks a lot more visually interesting with all the fish and stuff so the brighter planks to break it up
3 n 4 look the best in my opinion
I like 3 and 4
The 10th of December (northern hemisphere, it would be June 10th for southern I think?), and I have it set to 5pm!
If you’re thinking of starting a new island and having the DA set to that date, I’d actually suggest doing it on a southern hemisphere island because I have Christmas lights up everywhere and regret it LOL
They don’t match the vibe I’m going for at all lmao, I wish I could choose southern instead but oh well
Here’s a couple more pics for inspo, plus my Pinterest pics that inspired me! ✨ 🍂
Still a WIP but I am loving the island, it feels like the perfect capture of ‘me’ in an island. My OG 2020 island was very cute very cottagecore but doesn’t match who I am anymore so it’s been fun to just explore the kinds of builds and things I’d like on my new island
I love you 💕😭
Idk how else to set up everyone else’s houses 😭 most I did was Luckys Haunted Maze and now idk what to do lmfao
I thought I could move resident services later on and found out I cannot ugh
Who can help me plan ? Im low-key loosing it so ! The last picture is something I want ! My theme is kidcore !
i worked on this lil sakura stone path today!
that’s really cute
Camp site design
Y'all are so talented omg 😮
hi guys, im not sure where else to ask this but How do you start planning your island? I'm new and just get terraforming but im struggling to decide where to build cliff etc! Just hoping you can share some advice for a beginner ❤️
Hello my island is open for free veggies, fruits, open market, and trading is accepted, checkout my island for any island design ideas 🤗
Island code: 2XKCN
unsure where else to make this path lead for now, but i love it! i’m thinking of adding flowers along the edge
wanted to add a little seating area near my beach marker but it’s looking like of sparse. open to suggestions 😓
Looks like Audie likes her new revamped yard in a new location. ❤️
I'm not as elaborate of a decorator as many of you, but I am pretty proud of this two story river cliff neighborhood build. 🙂
Hey, all! I recently got back into animal crossing after 3.5 years (😭), and I’m looking for ideas and suggestions/feedback on things I should work on or add to my island! I’m working on putting all the houses together (as shown on the left side of my island) but I’d love some filler ideas and recommendations! I have a pastel-y gothic-y kinda vibe I wanna go for if that makes sense. All, and anything is helpful!
.
anxious to see this with daylight tomorrow but just finished my tiny coffee place 🫶🏻⭐️
also ordered somethings to put in here because was just throwing stuff out of my head
Looking for some ideas for my new island, i'm trying to find anything to do with candy, from candy paths, to candy decor. My entire island is going to be candy themed, so i was hoping to find some inspo for some ideas for my island for later on down the road
really liking my entrance! :D
Alguem do Brasil
Chocolate making area and barn house build
what should i do with this area (and does the path look bad i cant tell 😭)
So creative
I did this for all my villagers except Audie since she has yet to move in
I need some ideas and idk what to really start with
Looks like a rural city parh
im trying to add a bunch of mountains
Im barely at tje part whee I need to build Timmy and Tommy's shop
Just some jewerly shop here
Jotaro?
Built this recently as in theory it would look good but in practice it's rather awkward... Any ideas to make it better?
Bushes and flowers are a start
Spam vegetation, makes everything better.
what should i put here? i have a mermaid/ocean themed island
Yeah haha
Do you want to keep the fences around the central plaza? They seem a bit awkward like this, the rest looks good - As others have already written, little details like vegetation here and there sets up for good "eye-candy"
I thought about it and I may indeed ditch them and make something of a real crossroads for functionality purposes... Still I'd love for the crafting area (the little one next to the Nook's) to be fenced off. And ofc I will add a ton of flowers when I'm done
Yeah I just thought about the fences near the banks, the crafting area looks nice^^
what should i do with this area (and does the path look bad i cant tell 😭)
working a bit on my entrance , really liking it so far and basically hiding the plaza from view from the airport 🥰.
hey , i am very new to the game and have just put the 3 houses down for 3 new villagers to come to my island , i now have to wait 2 more days for them to arrive so i wanted to start building my island with the entrance. does someone mind coming to my island and gicing some suggestions?
Not able to come to your island rn but I can give suggestions if you post your map and/or the front of your island. Any particular styles you like in terms of themes, items, terraforming you may want. Or are you just trying to make it nice to later rework/update once you are further into the game?
Anyone feel like sharing their restaurant designs? I’m looking for inspo for a restraunt with an enclosed kitchen, seating space and a piano 😌✨
What looks better? Designing a neighbourhood
2nd one
Hey!! If you’re looking for an island designer, i would send that in #player-services instead
post office
Enchanted forest entrance
I want to visit islands to get inspiration
thank you
Hey guys, anyone has isnpiratuion for a cozy island? What should I search on Pinterest for better inspiration?
Maybe cottagecore? If that's what you're looking for
Any type of vibe?
I have one house that's completely empty and idk what to do with it. I ran out of brain juice
Aurora over my little entrance 🌌
Something like cozy vibes City vibes combine together ig? That's the type of island I'm aiming for
Same here lol
my current entrance vs what im thinking about doing to it… i dont like the way it looks flat but i could use the extra bridge and theres like no room to drop stuff when people come to trade 😭
You could always shorten the water around the bridge or move the bridge forward?
Another solution is to add water around the flat path so the room is still there but water is there too
the bridge cant be moved, it wont get any closer to the airport and any farther forward would mess up my path, and putting water around the flat path would still only leave a 2 tile wide space to drop stuff so its inconvenient 💔
im thinking about connecting that pipe to the beach directly to the left of my airport, either way it takes about 6 seconds to get to that beach whether sprinting or through the pipe
-# Stepping stones…
bc theres a lot more room there and i have no clue what to do with it anyway, or one of the other beaches
hello literal chicken nugget ?? beautiful
hi :3
?
stepping stones ive considered but having to jump gets so annoying when im trying to get to my airport quickly… i wish i hadn’t gotten so attached to this entrance tbh
You could also always forget the stone path and lay down a water path
i might try this!
It’s pretty and you can put stuff on it
my design slots are completely full 💀
Ignore the blank spaces but for example
ill try that picture you sent and see how i like that!!
Did you know if you delete design spots after laying them the design saves
You just can’t lay it anymore
Dont put water just put stepping stones using ingame pathing and round out the corners ( i use both the stone paths so they dont connect) hard to explain w out a photo
i thought once you put something else in that slot it would replace it though?
Not if you put the design as a path
oh wait yeah ik what you mean ive done that on another area
Here I’m confusing you let me show you
I believe that only works with clothes
Nope I’ve down it before lol
Here wait..
0w0 whaaaaa
Don’t test that
theres also this section of beach i could put a pipe to? i have no clue what to do over here
could not be bothered to actually take a proper video lol
Oh wait I have ideas for that lol if you wanna see em
-# my poor beaches always get flooded with flowers and i never clean them
sure! i have a mermaid area right below this one and and a tropical area over in that huge sandy area on the bottom left
real my entire left beach from the peninsula up is all flowers
I’m probably gonna hire someone for a few million bells to clean my flowers
in the 3.0 update theres gonna be a flower clearing feature i think
one of my friends entire island was infected by them 😭 so im gonna try to get them back into the game once the update is out
I time travel alot so when making a new island all the cliffs end up being consumed by flowers-
real 💔💔 all my flowers are contained by an invisible custom design now so they cant spread
Gosh I hope there’s an option to get rid of ALL flowers
Im lowkey afraid of guests wondering my island- i dont wanna see als cheeks 💀😭
that mermaid area is like mine!! the second and fourth pictures are so pretty I’ll probably do that on my left beach if the flowers ever leave lmao
The hotel guests are gonna wonder your island
I did not consent to this- tom what the heck man
I dont wanna be terraforming and get jumpscared by some gorilla cheeks 😭
R we fr
Yes
Ughhhh noo
Alright sick!
Ikk 😭
true im so worried about this 😭😭 i dont want ugly villagers walking around
If i see al or Shivers chops. Im BOLTING
god forbid barold…
EWWWWWW
Im convinced nintendo put ugly villagers in to troll us
Litteraly who wants that mans
NOBODY
Dude I want someone to visit my island just to see this section I made
It’s so awesome
I’m redoing my island and only have a very small bit done but I’m so proud of it
I dont have online atm but i have a dream code of my ( i think ) Last island which was kidcore 😄
Assuming this is my kidcore island but i have no clue soo
Good luck lmao
Ok actually this might be the kidcore one
Mine ran out 😔
This is a rough depiction of what I want my island to sorta look like. I'm at a loss as to what I should do with the big empty space in the middle. Does anyone have some ideas? Or recommendations in general?
What about this?
That is pretty!
Could use some advice I kind of wanna restart my entire island cause I’m a little unhappy with it, but I love my villagers and would be sad to see some of them go any thoughts of how to redesign island layout?
flatten it
This laundry 🧺 area is pretty neat.
if you have a lot of bells, you can move all of the villagers houses on the beach and then terraform the island into something different. add paths and whatever else you need to plan it out
if you want i can show you what ive been doing but its pretty unfinished
Some of my island pictures 🥰 still working towards a completed dream address!
it looks so detailed i love it
This looks amazing. This is the look I’m going for but I struggle getting a natural look. Any advice would be appreciated 🙏
Thank you! It’s been a WIP for years but the update has made me want to finish it 🙂
Of course!! You’re always welcome to come over one time too 🙂
Thank you 🥰
Thank you! Best of luck with ur decorating. Can’t wait to see the dream address
oh i just got back into it too!
Hey I’m very new to this game after not playing for 5 years , what do you guys think of my garden ? I know it’s basic but I’m happy with it to start with
Thinking of moving my villager homes. Any ideas? I can do an island tour if that’ll help show what I have so far.
Option 1: I was thinking move the villagers house to be more in line.
Option 2: I move the villagers to where my house is and my house where they are.
Thank you! I’ll send my current one - it’s a bit different to how it is now though 🙂
I would put your house where they are, because then it's more like a little town.
And idk what your island theme is- but making it look like a little town, either that be a 1840's café, or like The Shire, or anything that you think looks good!
That's all, just move your house. But then again, that's my opinion and you don't have to do it if you don't like it^^
My theme right now is i guess cottage core? 🤔 I’ll have to figure out how to lay them out if I move them. Which I agree, the more I think about it. It would be better to have everything at the front. Make it town feeling like. 🤔
I’m looking at inspiration ideas on Pinterest currently 🤔 Just trying to see how I would like the houses to be laid out.
Hiii ! can someone help figure out how decorate this part pls
It’s in front of my airport and leads to resident services (not sure about the well yet)
Those are some sick house layouts!
I normally put them scattered around the same area, but it mostly comes down to what you like, and what you think would look good with the rest of your island
NOT MY PHOTO/ISLAND
saw this on a facebook group omg it’s so beautiful i had to share
Thanks for the advice an help 🙏. I’ll be working on rearranging things these next few days and update you with what I figured out I like. 😎
omg this is so cuteee! i love the pathways you used
resident services on my island is obnoxiously close to the airport so i’m kinda stuck on what to do with it i’m not very confident in what i’m doing right now so any suggestions would be appreciated! i’m going for a rural japanese town aesthetic
As someone with a close resident services as well (10 damn blocks 😾)
you could "block" the way from the airport, build something there and make the path go around so you can enter it from left and right
Something like this and then badabing badabom path left and right
A few photos from my island today! It’s fully decorated and I’ve just posted the dream address over on the other channel 🙂
Does anyone have any tips for a Japanese themed island
omg thankyou this is actually so helpful 😭
- Good amount of bamboo trees and/or items
- Cherry blossom items as well
- Know wether you're going for more rural small town or cityscape cause that could determine a lot too
I decided on rural small town (with some tech and magic flair). Tried to do both at first but decided since only 100 design spaces I'd rather commit to one and do it well
Do you wanna go for a Japanese city vibe or more a natural vibe
I really recommend boiscrossing
Updating my island including Hamlet home
New Campsite with book to read
Arcade so everyone in town/island can play game
and of course the cafe
I’ve gotten this much done so far. Moved my house last night after moving all of my fruit trees to the ground layer. Moved my memorial garden for my cats next to my house as well, so now they’re closer to me. I could leave my villagers there but change the order, or keep the plan to move them to the bottom left. 🤔
I am in need of some help with my island layout I made a slide show of all my island homes and buildings along with the little amount of decoration I have done I know that I want my island homes to look like this pic with maybe a couple more block in between the houses for additional decoration. I am open to changing rivers, cliffs, etc. as well as relocating any and all homes, buildings, bridges, inclines, etc. I don’t really wanna move the forest as pictures in the slide show unless there is a better idea for it. I am open to any and all ideas and advice.
I think it looks pretty good! I don't think you need to move the houses, it looks good as it is. but if you don't like it, or you feel unsatisfied with it, then you should probably change it
working on some terraforming 💕
I think I’ll move them to be more symmetrical and to allow yards 🤔 I have all that room now, so I can give them more space.
preview of my island 🌱
some weird waterfall idk
I like dim sum
OMG WHAT I LOVE ITTT, does it say the code for the paths?
Both
i don’t think so
omg i love this
i’m trying to find a way to conceal this upper area without using the walls cause it’s very awkward looking, does anyone have any suggestions?
Conceal as in hide the mountain/ elevated part without covering the top too much?
yeah pretty much the castle wall does a good job i just hate how the gap looks so i need an alt
Def could use panels or standee designs with a certain design on then
ohhhh okok
thankyou
I’ve got a quick tip for newcomers for islands if you don’t have yet access to paths or figuring out where you want where. I’ve recently made temporary pathways with the patterning app you get at the start of the game so that way you can have temporary pathways so you know where to go. You can also use it for fences and such.
Is very handy if you’re the type of person who has an idea of what you want to do but can’t due to being limited below 3 stars. Just a tip/suggestion for any newcomers or people who have restarted and starting from scratch more or less.
You can also use it to figure out your neighbor placements too! Overall that’s that. That’s my tip!
new island new entrance ✨️
what do we think? i'm still experimenting with the theme
Howdy 🥸
Everyday, I want to destroy another half of my island, just go remake my entrance.
I'm creating an area on my beach inspired by Stardew Valley's Night Market! Would love any item suggestions.
barrel/pirate barrel, sideways pirate barrel, decorative bottles
plain party lights arch are good too
Yeah, planning on using a few of those
Anyone have any ideas for what kind of items to put here? My idea is for a neighborhood plaza kinda vibe
Would love item or layout suggestions
Would he cool to do a couple storefronts, maybe have a cafe outside seating. Some benches and flowers
Oo
Wdym by storefronts? And this area is pretty much just the brick pavement so not sure how the flowers would work but im open tonot
Ahh I looked it up! Storefronts is an item and I bet it wpuld def look lovely here!
Yea and you can dye panels with doors or anything to make it look really nice. Use different items to be creative in building a nice storefront.
They have these brick planter with flowers you can put. Forgot what it was called.
But yea Pinterest is really good for inspiration. Hope this helps
Any ideas for a Japanese themed house
i found these on pinterest. bamboo. zen, cherry blossom items help. the kerokerpkeroppi sanrio collection helps too if you manage to trade with someone who has it. a lot of the items are craftable for japanese inspired designs
made a little memorial spot dedicated to my grandparents and all 4 of my childhood cats whom i lost all of them to sickness 🤍
awww 🥺
Which layout is better? this is gonna be all paved with bricks and have fences and walls to make it a canal city, but the museum is throwing me off
2nd imo
I'm so happy with Olivias home on my mushroom/farm island^^
I think the 2nd option would look good with the fences and walls
This is so cute! I adore the mushroom items and you used them perfectly here
Hi is there anyone with the same layout as my island? I need some ideas please
My last island had a similar layout to yours. It’s a more natural feeling aesthetic
whoa this is too amazing, i dont think i can make mine look this good
Lol, I may have played way too many hours of this game. But it at least gives you an idea of what is possible. If you have online, feel free to visit the DA and look around.
Has anyone ever seen this fish display stand thing before?! I’d love this for my fishing area but I have no idea what this is called 😱
It's a face-cutout standee custom design! here's the code for it
Omg!! Thankyou so much!! You’re so amazing! 😁
Can you have more than one island? 👀
only if you have more switches 😔 i had to reset my old island to make a new one
Damn; gotta get my husband to love me more 🤭
hehe
Kidding I’ll just steal his when he’s not on his switch 🤭
Its half finished but I am unsure what else would fit. It is supposed to be a little workstation.
some progress today
WoW
Thank you so much!
does anyone have any good layout ideas, i just restarted
A bit of my working progress farm area.
Super happy with these spots on my island. 🏝️ it’s not finished but I was inspired to play and revamp it for the update
hihi could someone help me lay out my island
i suck at this im using islanddesigner
Heyyy :3 can anyone help me design my island fall themed? I don’t know how to design my island after I created a new one.
Can someone please help me make a layout for my tropical island? I can pay up to 30 nmts!
Part of some Ancient civilization on my island
Can someone help me with ideas on what to put in this empty area?
Are you going for abandoned or repurposed
Abandoned
Repurposed could work for some areas too
But wtv you want
Then youll want to use some damaged and items to.m indicate overgrowth
I use a lot of weeds, sugarcane and broken looking tiles to fill space on my repurposed ancient island
A good gathering plaza is always classic. I also have a lot of temples because I find civilizations and their religious practices fascinating
What if I made an area for the museum like that?
Abandoned place with structures of some lost civilization?
Thats a good idea!
I came up with an idea for my empty house but I had to make a few changes to my plaza and pub/bar.
The plaza is all planned but I still have 2 empty rooms in the pub/bar and tbh I have no idea what to make of them bc I've never been to a pub/bar nor have any knowledge about those places or what people do aside from drinking and dancing
Heres my plaza I want to make some changes but I like the floor layout
So far I have the main bar area for the main room, a balcony for the back room, a concert room upstairs and a dock for downstairs (bc the resident that runs the pub/bar is in cahoots with Redd and smugles stuff into the island)
you can add toilets!
That's one less room, thank you
Are bathrooms in those places as bad as people make them out to be?
I just spent and hour making a canva presentation to put my thoughts in order about all the interiors I'm planning to make. Idk if that is a good or bad sign. Should I take a break from ACNH?
I’m trying to design my island.. what I’m currently thinking off: (purple) museum, (yellow) homes, (blue) shops.. what do you guys think? Do you have other ideas?
i’m so
lost on where to put houses, i want them to kind of be together ? (the one in the top left is being moved to the yellow square i want to keep those houses together since it’s francine and chrissy lol)
Favourite part on my island, finished after 7hours
this is gorgeous
Able sisters set up
Hey Guys! I’m needing a whole redesign on my island I’m pretty new to the game and need a little help I’m will too pay someone 3m bells for there serviceeessss:DD:heart:
I’m trying to design my island but design really isn’t my strong suit :( I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I’m trying to go for a “small town” vibe.
I don’t have waterscaping or teraforming unlocked yet. I can pay with bells if anyone would be willing to help
Confession: I hate overusing paths a prefer more open grassy areas.
My philosophy is "No tile left behind" but I have to admit that looks really relaxing
I try to get different textures for grass
ReBoot pfp 💖
Yesss, Mouse is my girl. ❤️
Still need an idea for this area
Made a cute little cafe today!
Finished my game room basement and Stitches had to come see! :)
Witch mountain
im the exact opposite i fear 😭 /lh
so many paths…
My island theme is 4 seasons! I am almost done with fall, winter is next. Gathering fun ideas for the spring/summer areas!
i got mine completely covered 😂
Holy shit that’s a lot of path
hehe it's a desert island so everything is sand, i had to make a custom map to show where the actual paths are lol
That’s so awesome tbh
My island is a abandoned city thing
ooo that sounds interesting!
Yeah it’s like this lol
Ignore me circling I needed ideas for the area
Actually I still do idk what to make in that area
I finished the fruit orchard the other day! Bree and Pietro came to enjoy the new area.
looks great so far! I'm thinking maybe an abandoned well or fountain?
Oh that would be lovely
Ooooh! Please post once you completed all four! I’m excited to see what your island will look like! That’s a nice theme!
My beach and restaurant kitchen area
Anybody have any farm crop tree orchard ideas
I have a big space I just can’t manage or organize it in a cute way
oh thats a Lot of path
Mine is similar
can anyone give me cottagecore ideas for my island? like pictures? much appreciated. ill give bells if needed
For the Turkey Day. Sasha is already eating lol
Love it, do you keep this place free and change it every event / season changes ?
I flattened for the next update. I’ll terraforming the whole island. My intention is to keep a main area next airport/RS for decor events. ^^
oh yeah that's a good idea 😎
I love the use of mixed chairs. Very clever
Hi everyone! I’m
new here and would love to share some shots of my island to kinda introduce myself
Folks. I think. I did a good job here. It’s so difficult to handle with pixel art. I’ve been training custom design for weeks. This flag is inspired by Art Nouveau style. What do I guys think ?
This is impressive, truly. The only few times I gave it a try the results were… well… not that exciting 💀
Thx. It means a lot
Its very nouveau, it reminds me of this tile from my grandmas house though.
Waw. That’s so cool. Thank you for show me this.
You did great, i saw the pic and was like “ i know a tile just like that”
should i make the neighborhood on 3rd level or would i get more space on 2nd level? im thinking 2nd level but idk
I always save the third to make fake buildings seem taller but if you're not planning on something like that then it's up to your preference
if I'm completely honest, the seams from cliffs just make me queasy so I avoid them most of the time or use tall objects (like medieval side walls) to fill the gaps
i went ahead and put it on the second level
hopefully there’s enough room for all 10 houses horizontally
i would LOOOOVE help. trying to plan out my island and idkw here to put houses
the brown spot next to the able sisters is gonna be a picnic spot
I dont really havea theme for my island so ima bit AHHRHHGHHH
Here is where you can place spots that fit more to the layout but do it however you’d like
OOO ty!!
Np!! That’s just my personal opinion but I can’t judge bc my island theme is wayyy out of the norm
Biggg wip
My new entrance
Rebuilt the theme park! Photo op with CJ and Celeste!

...and another cozy spot near the entrance
Could use some advice on how to decorate this upper level. Maybe I should make the river end at the first waterfall instead of having two, leaving more space to decorate?
I think you could keep it simple with a fence and a telescope on the left, with a pathway and bench or something on the right, like a visitor's lookout area. 🙂
I am very proud of this mosaic I made
it looks VERY good! I bet it will look even better during wintertime
progress of my neighborhood!!
Can I get any advice/ideas on how to fix my entrance up? 😭
What if you had some terraforming or a water feature on both sides . I really like the area on the left with the gazebo, what if you did something similar on the right side with the grass/pattern
The cafe part could be incorporated or further in the area north of it now? Just some ideas
Can someone please tell me why my pathing looks so.. unpleasant😭
The paths from Nook arent as pretty as designs but I still want the sounds of stepping/ and for some paths to appear on the map but it looks so bad
someone can help me to decorate my island pls i can give bells
It's too straight compared to the river! Too many edges
Do you guys think my new bus stop is cute?
I still need to continue the pathing of course, ignore that haha
i need to move the rest of my critters up here but it worked out! my neighborhood is perfect for me!! ♡
I love it!!
I think a wooden or a stone fence would look super cute!!
i need help on making the layout of my island. does anyone have recommendations or inspo?
this is my current layout
was wondering if anyone have a mixed theme island, my entrance and neighbourhood is kind of a europe town theme with brick path, and i wanna make a small japanese area with shrine and kabuki's home
Ever heard of the Taisho era?
The fake castle i finished for my alice in wonderland island
Ive been trying to do rural town, slowly growing into an urban center, is my vibe. Mostly for my own entertainment, but basically the town is constantly being upgraded and grown. Its still very much a village, but theyre opening their first school, out of a barn, soon.
Here is the work in progress, as construction continues
Tiny diner
yea
we have very similar islands, this is how i do mine for inspo,, my other island is exactly like yours but the map is just sand lol
teach me your ways
Thanks Nintendo
I’m struggling with two areas of my island. If anyone is a design genius and wants to visit to help me come up with some ideas I’d be grateful 🙂
Hi idm visiting, I’m no genius but love designing
Thanks so much!! 🙂 when would work for you?
I sent you dm, I can help you:)
hii!! is anyone selling a castle wall'?
Guys what flowers would fit forest core? I am using green mums, white flowers and lily of the valley already
i feel like hyacinths would be cool
Yeah maybe like the orange one?
bacause they have very pastel colours
yea those look very cool
and their colour is not that saturated
so it works well with the forest core theme
are you selling any castle wall by any chance??
No sorry 😢 I am using all of them rn
ushhh okok thanks anyway, if you know someone that is selling one or can buy one for me and then i'll give the bells back let me know ahhaha
Yeah np!
Idk if this is prohibited but is there a chat room or a way that I can pay someone to make me an outline of the island i want? maybe this is the right place to ask this
Check out the player services channel under marketplace, you can pay with in game resources if you want someone to design your island for you. As for general advice, sharing, thoughts on something, you can post images here for your island here for feedback. Hope this helps!
Okay, I think I may have an idea on how to go about my island buuut oooh boy, I’m nervous about it.
I’ve been planning to make an entire cliff side dedicated to my museum at the back as a way to bring back my oldest idea I’ve had since the start but now I’m wondering if maybe instead of a cliff side leading up to it and a waterfall/river, maybe I could use some kind of forestry that leads to it or something? I don’t know how to really fully describe it and I can’t exactly get started because I still need to move islanders to the beach.
But for now I’m making just one cliff edge just to see how long I can go more or less.
im making a small plaza with newspaper stand infront of resident service, but i kind of feel like something is missing, what do u guys think?
does anyone know the name of the plants and the tables theyre on?
You could do an abandoned park maybe? I feel you could have more trees cause abandoned cities are overtaken by greenery
Hi, I restarting to restart my island lol, and I’m trying to make a orchard/ farm, does anyone have examples on how they formatted that
Gosh ilysm ty
Just various bonsai trees and potted plants
Anything with flowers is either a flower bed, flower vase, or flower garden type thing
all furniture from back to front, left to right:
- greenhouse box
- bonsai shelf, schefflera
- yucca, nordic low table (cassablanca lillies, potted starter plants), cypress plant
- menu chalkboard, leaf stool (any dropped flower seed bag), flower bed
there also might be a garden wagon next to the greenhouse box behind the tree to the left, but i can't see it clearly
How can I improve this diner area?
you should definetly add barriers/fencing to mimic walls and you should cover up the bathroom + kitchen!! ^^
how could i make this work
Straighten this side
Place more food
thank you
yes to the food and maybe a difference fence. it feels thin
What can I put in these spots? Its looks hideous to me but idk what I could put or how to change it so it looks better 💔
Fave fall dirt path of all time
Maybe make something like this on one side and decorate the other more naturally with red pansies? Imo it makes sense to have a bench there
I need a second opinion 😅
You see my mini secret beach is literally in the middle of the island if you get what I mean. Basically it lines up perfectly to being behind resident services. And I’m planning to move my shops on individual sides at the start with some of my villagers, thus why the dilemma.
Just know I may have to remove the incline to fit better with it leading directly to the beach.
Btw I’m moving my campsite elsewhere.
Wait thats so cute actually thank u stranger !!
Also something to note I want to try to emulate a forest/waterfall going down in the middle feel I think if I do for the middle.
Can't for the life of me figure out why I can't place a bridge here. It is 4 wide, it should work right? Anyone know why it's not?
I think it’s maybe because it’s too close to the cliff’s edge?
Expand on your cliff a little bit more or put your bridge here and see if it works.
I'm not allowed to place it further in, too close to the cliff it says, so I'll try expanding it
Saw a picture where the bridge was at the very edge but I'm starting to think it was glitched or edited
Is most likely edited or modded.
yea thats not possible unless its glitched
You were right, more cliff fixed it! Shame we have to resort to glitching to make stuff look the way we want
Thanks for the help guys
Hey guys does anyone here like Star Wars?? My island is themed like the planet of Naboo! Come visit! Dm me for the code!
No prob! Congrats!
island planning = ipad + pinterest
im new on the game and i dont know how to build my islands and i dont have ideas. where can i find building tutorials or full build ? do u know some special ytb channels or something ? tysm
i like chase crossing
Anyone?
Sorry, I didn't understand your explanation
all I did understand is that you want to connect the back of RS to your secret beach.
No worries.
Basically I don’t know if to commit to my museum to be in the centre of where the beach is located or to be at the far right.
anyone got islands that have a nice mix of brick paths and the dirt ones? Unsure what i want to go with and i am starved for ideas. I had all dark dirt paths but have been swapping some parts to the brick path, not a fan of custom paths due to being able to wipe them.
island is not terraformed massively
trying to go for something cosy yet still playable i guess?
Well I have never really been a fan of placing the museum as a link for the secret beach. I understand the appeal but it's just a bit of a struggle making it work without copypasting other ideas. Simply not my thing.
But if you really want to set it close to it then I would recommend not placing it right in front
Maybe place it on one side and making the center into a plaza that looks over the secret beach?
No worries! I’ll experiment with ideas and I’ll give updates later.
I mean something like this
Never mind Label but here’s my entrance if anyone is curious. I’m going to be relocating my villager’s home elsewhere tomorrow hopefully and then relocate my shops.
the bench really reminds me of new leaf. i love it!
Actually I have it like this:
My trees and bushes btw are still growing.
Yeah I didn't mean too much about the incline. My focus was on the view
Ah, welll once it’s ready I’ll share more details!
Tbh I’m still arranging some details but I’m very proud of my entrance so far.
Are you going for a a modern or a more antique style of island?
A few days ago vs now! Improved my pathing a lot, I think this is much cuter and more interesting (ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ഒ
Very cute!
Thank you!
my island is a big ol work in progress (has been since 2023)
generally older I think? dirt paths primarily with cobblestones dotted around I guess.
can anybody tell me any improvements
If you guys had to pick between Ruined Archway or a Stone Archway for your Museum entrance, what would you guys pick? Because I’m considering to make a ruined archway. But I’m curious about second opinions.
Ruined
My husband picked the same haha.
Ruined
New entrance
my finally finished gyroid garden !! just waiting for my brewstoid now
Anyone has an idea for this zone? It has a rock somewhere . I want to make a fusion between a castle and an area with golden furniture with some fiah
New little areas
can anybody help me plan rhis bit out
My phone is being a but and not opening my image share link, so this image is trash. I'm making a canal city and some bridges have to ba fake to make it work. Should I switch the zen bridges to flat bridges to match the fake one?
A sneak peak of my Japanese area.
Hotel entrance on pier
Not sure if anyone knows of this tip or not but I’m certain it is there but in the event for new islanders or terraformers, if you ever want your incline to match perfectly in line with an entrance of any kind. Do the cliff sides like this so it can line up perfectly rather than just eyeballing it and have to make do with the suggestions the game provides you like this:
I’m really struggling on which position to put all these items in. I think I have something I like, but what would you do? I’m going for a celestial fairycore theme, so I’m open to including items I don’t currently have in this picture!
i am so lost as to where to start with decorating, i've had this island since 2020
not a fan of custom paths, no clue how to decorate the entrance, it's just so much work to be done and i aaugggh
leaning towards cobblestone pathing for the actual paths instead of the dirt and the tiling for around the shops but im not sure
Since the Resident Services is so close, I'd like to suggest terraforming to create some distance. As for pathing, the cobblestone is the best neutral/flexible path in my opinion and for angled you can do a 4x4 circle and or mix it with the other stone path when you need some separation. Not sure how intense of a decorator you are (I am) but it might help to think big picture like do you want your map to look a certain way? I drew some shapes on a white board until I found one pleasing to my eyes. I like planning so I don't have to rework a bunch of stuff. Would help with rivers as well. Also figure out your non-negotiables like do you want your house or Nooks in a certain spot. That will also help you kinda figure out what space you have to do things. Hope any of this is helpful 🙂
Ah a good tip if you are moving buildings is to place them all on the beach then use pathing to outline how much space they take up where you want them. Doesn't cost you bells and if you need to adjust then it's easy to do that since you haven't moved the building yet. I do this and just decorate around the empty spot so all I have to do it slap the building in there and tweak a bit after.
So, I moved a LOT of stuff around my island but now my entire frontal left beach is completely empty and I have not a vlue as to what to put in there.
My pier is there too so I'm open to the idea of something 3.0 hotel related
Not sure what you have on your island, but a volleyball court area is a nice addition and pretty easy to theme to your island. Seating like lounge chairs also work well for a more touristy feel. I tend to keep my beaches light since I run around them a lot. You could also do a little ice cream stand, surf shop, or a food truck.
Yeah that's the thing. My beaches are CROWDED
and yet idk how to position the sitting areas in a way that I like.
I tried the volleyball court but it just looks weird
I already have an ice-cream parlor planned for a different spot and the surf shop is somewhere else on the island so that's a no-no too
I've tried to make a food truck before but it looked hideous, I'm terrible at making food trucks apparently
Do hotels have boardwalks of their own?
terraforming to make distance how?
my island is nigh untouched in terms of terraforming outside of necessities to make ramps and bridges
The Hotel will extend the pier so I'm no sure how much boardwalk you'd want. It's def an option. Hmmm When you did the food truck did you do a fake truck or use the 2.0 Truck with a custom design on it? You might like the Truck item with a custom design. If you aren't sure what you like for seating, do you have the designer app in game? I use that to make item groupings to figure out what I like. Might help since you aren't limited to the items in your inventory.
i can show my house to show my uh, decorating "prowess"
i am far better at decorating smaller interiors
not the best obv but still
As for creating distance, terraforming around resident services can trick the feel/eye into thinking there is more distance so it's not as direct. umm I don't know if I have a picture but for instance, mine is also close (not as close as yours) and I used the castle items to obscure it so it feels like it's farther away. You can also look around google images for inspo if you want to see entrances with themes or something you might like. Let me check if I have an image
i feel like having very thin cliffs around it would look funny?
i unno
TECHNICALLY i can save edit to move it but i've only save edited so far to swap a bridge's aesthetic and change my character name
but i don't really wanna do that
Okay so the map is old island but I used terraforming to make you come in from an angle into resident services, you don't have do this severe but it gets the point across. As for the second pic, my RS is behind the castle walls for this island
Yeah it doesn't have to protrude far in front, you can also use trees and things to obscure if the cliffs are iffy due to space.
Anything to slightly obscure the resident services will work so there isn't a direct visual line if you want distance. Now if you like it close, you can always lean into that too if you prefer. Just some options to consider
i've tried staring at DAs and a good chunk of them are nice, i just dont' know where to start
Yeah I use it a LOT
mainly for interiors tho. If I need to design an exterior I tend to go to HHP and find a space that looks similar to the area I'm working on.
I'll try the food truck again
is a shame we don't have hotdog items tho (aside from the bread).
Ah I see kind alike a little town center. You could try a little seating area and center piece near the front for the entrance and lean into the closeness. I personally always start at the entrance since it sets the vibe of my island and I refer to it as a theme/anchor.
i did have the whole video as well, it's just clips jammed together running across the entire island
if you're referring to me
true true, yeah if there is a little design you like to put on a truck great! This is what I was thinking when I said food truck. Not sure if it's your style, but there are other colored ones if you like say the blue truck or something.
i'd put cars on my island but they're not exactly big enough to warrant vehicles
Yeah I watched some of it. Mainly the entrance part to see how close it was. Wasn't sure how much you were keeping or if it was just the entrance in question.
once i've sold my turnips i'll probably swap the cobblestones for the tile pathing in front of nooks
was trying to go for the uh
AC pocket camp market kinda deal i guess, idk
My addiction to the entrance take
this is my entrance. I also tried to make some "distance" byt crowding it and make the main path look longer. As you can see my RS is super close to the airport
I tried the plaza idea but it didn't work for me so I changed my approach
Yeah that makes sense. Ah here is an example of blocking RS to make it feel a bit further. You could us that space to make a little market, airport waiting area, or something before leading into the town. I haven't played pocket camp but it might be workable
yeah im super limited in terms of pathing because i refuse to use customs for the bulk of my pathing
ahhh i seeeee
basically it's just a cobblestone plaza thing with a giant tree in the middle with the shopkeepers operating out of trucks
Oh that's no problem at all! There's a creator on YT who's channel is solely focused on creating islands with in-game pathing. You could check them out
ooh, what's their name?
Brb I'll go find them
but yeah my main issues with customs is just being able to wipe them off the floor with a button press for no reason
along with the walk sound
you should be able to assign a terrain type to custom paths which determine the sound and if you can dig in it or not
Ah yeah makes sense. I feel that about the lack of noise when you walk.
100% agree
like dirt/sand/stone/metal or whatever
Yeah I just wish the in game pathing could go diagonal better.
hmmm i will have to nuke the rock here in front of RS but oh well
gonna have to move the path south a bit
arrows and circles are the only way I have been able to be happy with it
Best of luck! Feel free to send an image if you get stuck!
also sucks because i don't have all the fence diys
i have most of what i'd wanna use though
Ah yeah arrows like >>> at a diagonal to the bridge or something. Not sure how to explain it and I don't have my game on me to make an example
You could do it with the 2 stone paths for they don't connect
Debating if I remove this rock here or try to.turn it into something
since it'd block the path if i move it south
"it" being the path
I would move it until you are happy with the entrance. You can always position rocks later with placing custom shirts all over your island to make rocks spawn where you want. I did that to make a rock circle 😄
Wonder if it'd be better to use weeds
Rocks are always the last thing I do, but that's personal preference
Because once you're done you could just pay leif
You could if you have enough, but I use the custom shirt since you can edit the shirt, add a pixel, save the change, and all the shirts disappear off your island.
No bells needed
Ahhh
It's just takes some time to place them all down and then add some here and there when a rock spawns where you missed. So only do that when you aren't running around everywhere playing since it might be annoying until all the rocks spawn where you want and with the shape you want
Yeah personally I don't really mind where they end up so long as they're easily accessible
Fair enough
I'M BACK! Sorry it took me a while. It's a Japanese channel so I struggled without the name
i am now debating with uhm, what fences to use for this kinda setup
i seee, thanks
deciding between vertical board fence, large lattice fence, hedges or uh, bamboo lattice fence
or iron. maybe
mm I like mixing them so like you could do iron and hedge for a mix for layer the fencing if you have the space and have hedges in front with vertical board behind it
dont have that much space so probably just one layer of fencing
I'm partial to the iron and hedges with trees as the height giver. So like iron on the ends with hedges in the middle or break em up. Depends on what you are putting in front I guess. If you do vertical fencing I would put the trees in front so you would do flowers/items between the trees
i dont think i have that tall concrete fence unfortunately
can swap it later ig
I also like using short panels. Since they are just half a tile, they give me more space to work with
not seeing hedges in this?
Or plant/wood partitions too!
Yeah there are no hedge fencing in that picture just bushes. You get that DIY from leaf I think?
i have hedge fencing diy already yeah
i dont have that iron concrete one, just the blue iron one and park fence
among others
You can color the blue iron one to be black with customization kits. Love it in that color personally.
ooh
Park fence can be colored too if you like that one same with vertical fencing
The stone and iron fence (one in the image you are referring to that I send) can't and a few others.
anybody got inspo for floating island? like coastal or swamp
yeah need something more solid for in front of rep service
prolly just going with hedged for now
kinda went crazy with the pink for shino’s but it’s the only place on my island with colour lol
That is beautiful
thank you 😊
someone can help me decorating my island pls
i love this oh my gosh
Tyyyy

The evening sky was looking so nice!
Hi everyone, I’ve never gotten this far in my island before I’ve recently just unlocked the design permits, I’ve been messing around with a layout - can anyone tell me if it’s any good? I know I should have like a rock garden and flower fields but is there anything I’m missing? But also any other ideas are welcome!!
My island map now compared to what I’m planning:
here's a few pics i snapped of my new island that i started (seriously) working on today:) i thought i'd try to tackle a more fun and vibrant theme, though i'm not exactly sure what i could specifically call it
peep cutie rudy
I dub thee
✨️ Rustic Grandma-core
Joke aside, I really like your island's vibe
that's so perfect actually ohmygosh
hopefully i'll be posting a DA soon but i've got my work cut for now
on the verge of a crashout because im frustraed with my island layout... would you rather reset or flat line the entire thing and start over 😵💫
As someone who has never reset since I got the game, flattening all the way
There's just something so therapeutic about destroying them piece by piece
I've crashed out 22 different times today. I've not even flattened all the way and I have no idea what to do. I've only removed half my river and yet I'm trying to build an entrance but I have spent 5 hours or more just building, destroying it because I hate it, and trying again. This has been a wicked cycle for me and I've reset 7 islands now.
I look through every bit of inspiration, yet I fail to replicate what I see.
I lost my island when my console broke so I am extra bitter lol... I have taken @autumn talon advice and started to chop down all my trees... but I think instead of flattening I am going to terraform up one level all the way around aside from the portion my resident services is on
I think I'm just gonna take a break from the game for some time. It's a source of great stress.
Canadian winter finally came so I need something to keep me occupied inside
I just started playing after a loooong "forced" break. College came first
I could have been a bit more of an irresponsible student but I'm an overachiever when it comes to my grades
I'm really enjoying the game again now that I've got so much free time and maybe I did need the break, who knows...
Museum entrance. I’m still getting some details sorted.
can someone help me come up with a layout for my island? i’ve done some terraforming but i can’t seem to figure the right layout… This is a lot harder than i’d expect…..
Is anyone out there able to give me advice or an idea on how to layout my map? I did the top half and all my villager houses but the bottom half has me stumped!
I like to space my villagers out into a kinda pattern/flow so I don't have big spots of nothing. Personal preference 100% though. As for the bottom half, you could go for a nature trail, park, mountain, farm, etc. Those all take up a good chunk of space. Not sure what the theme is or if you have any of that but all that could fit really any theme.
My general advice if you are a planner like me is to draw some shapes and see what looks pleasing to you. I generally like to figure out the general terraforming shapes I like then what river shapes I like. That kinda gives me a general idea of layout, Then I work on my non-negotiables, like do I want my house in a certain spot like top left, or nooks, etc. That way I can figure out where everything else might go. I then refer to that as I work on terraforming, my entrance and how to branch off from that.
If you aren't a planner, start with the entrance and then just see where that goes. Sometimes working small and not worrying about the rest can be less stressful if it seems daunting. You might have to rework some spots more than with planner but as long as you have fun doing it, that's what matters.
After much trial and error (an a sacrificed vineyard) I decided to extend the "old part" of my island to include a vintage bakery, a soup restaurant, a pot selling stand and finally make use of Able Sisters. I even managed to get space for my very first land bridge
And yes, that is a wishing well because magic is canon on my island.
I don't get how people make these things and I make almost nothing and I dedicate so much time to my projects only to end up with right where I started. It's very frustrating.
Well, I was like that too
I have never reset my island but I have redesigned it 7 times (this is the 8th and hopefully final)
For 2 years I chose a new theme every now and then, but nothing satisfied me. It was a frustrating mess
Until I decided on THIS island
I set some personal rules to make sure my experience with the game would be as vast as possible. One of those rules is "I should be able to build with as many items as I wish and it shan't look out of place" which is how now my island has "old areas" and "new areas" and even "magical and crazy areas"
I have experienced a loooot with my own building style and I'm constantly rebuilding things. This island is almost 4 years into the making and is nowhere near finished.
I haven't had any island of mine last 2 years. The longest one lasted was a year and 3 or 4 months, and I took a break from the game back then.
But even when sticking with just one theme, I can't even design a single thing. I blank out because I either don't have the items, or don't like how it looks. I have had this game since launch day and restarted 7 times, not once being happy with my islands. It's become a chore to play this game at this point and I no longer look forward to it, I think I am burnt out again. But I have nothing else to play that I feel comfort in and so I just keep trying to enjoy it despite failing to do so.
I have zero experience in making anything look natural, this island's theme is forestcore and I don't know how to make anything look natural and fitting to my desires.
Forcing yourself to play will definitely have a negative effect. I don't really feel burnt out from it but I always make sure to take breaks from it just in case. I have other games to fall to and I read a lot too
Something that really helped me develop my own style was copying real life places or replicating other people's build and adapting them to my island
I discovered that I'm really good at creating natrural and messy places... but also that I'm REALLY bad at making orderly ones
Which is why city core was not for me, despite being one of my favorite styles
This is how my map looks now, got rid of half the river and it's like, now what?
The area ai just showed in the video, for example, is probably the one spot on my island that has changed the most
No matter what I did, I always hated it until now. I actually lost count of how many times I have redesigned it
Oh yeah, I'm also terrible with waterscaping
Oof.
Look, my map is an absolute mess yet I only have a couple of teeny tiny rivers
Still think it looks better.
Something that helped me figure out what to do in certain spaces was creating stories for my villagers and for the island itself. My villagers have businesses, jobs, background stories and so do my human residents. But most importantly the island itself.
I wanted to have a lot of different restaurants for example. And so far I've managed to accomplish that. But I also wanted to include a temple and a graveyard but I ran out of space
My island is also a traffic hazard (walking is overrated imo
) and a lot of players don't like that.
Which I completely understand but it's my island in the end and I have prioritized its structure over my movement
holy this is so pretty, it's mediterranean themed right?
Not really but thanks
If I had to put a label on my island it would be "Coastal/tropic with a twinge of magic" (it started as a retro-tropical island so makes sense
that sounds even better, do you have a da posted perchance?
the first thing that came to mind when i saw the build was capri/porto fino so i assumed mediterranean right off the bat
Is posted but it still has my original island, back in 2020 when cottagecore had us all hostage
I have never updated it since
Mediterranean is one of my all time favorite styles. I used to build a lot of it when I still played the sims so I probably drew inspiration from it too, even if subconsciously
something i noticed, atleast for myself, is that limiting myself to only one island theme makes it feel really boring/frustrating when it comes to finishing the island, probs cause it's pretty restrictive obviously
what helped me get out of this burnout phase was just starting anew and going ham with whatever theme i could cook out by mixing diff elements i enjoy the look of:) and not forcing myself to finish certain areas/finish the whole island, i think it's far more fulfilling to do one small spot at a time and give myself time to come up with actually creative and nice builds instead of copy pasting other stuff i alr have on my island in an attempt to just get everything done at once
but i'm straying from the subject so, to put it shortly, maybe try a multi themed island! it could be refreshing and you never know what you actually end up enjoying and how creative you can be:) and remember not to compare urself with other people, comparison is the thief of joy!
ahhhh fair fair, well i love visiting islands in general so if u feel like it i'd love to see that old version you have uploaded aswell:)
That's exactly what I did
and also what she said about creating a story for ur island and residents, it's probably the best way to bring out your creativity
Overall the game has way too many options to lock ourselves on one single idea. It quickly becomes underwhelming and repetitive
What if I am trying a multi-themed island though? Forestcore and another forest theme from another game? Or should I just do something else entirely?
have fun with stuff, for example i'm planning on doing a whole evil alien gnome cult on my island, gyroid savants, a mysterious dinosaur area that the gnomes awakened for the museum, gave coco the role of the main researcher for the island and julian and baabara the witch/wizard and etc etc
be as unhinged as possible cause it's so fun and it can make ur island rlly unique:)
i'd recommend to take a look at some youtube vids that kind of display all of the current existing themes for islands and pick a few you enjoy visually/think would go hand in hand nicely and play around w them:) if you want i can look for a few vids and link em here
watching/touring other ppl's islands also helps so you can kinda take inspo from them just as a small reference/starting point
personally i'm not a fan of forestcore in general cause i think it's a really limiting theme but if you pair that up with a 90's inspired town/ citycore/ japanese rural town they can go rlly well together without feeling repetitive!
My problem isn't inspiration anymore, it's failing to replicate said inspiration. Like I literally cannot build something even if it's directly shown to me.
or if u want a more magical feel maybe a mix of swampcore and fairycore/witchcore
then maybe take a break from building altogether and settle on playing casually for a while
complete ur critterpedia, raise ur friendship levels, etcetc for a while to get away from that whole struggling to build headspace
burnout can keep it's grip on you for a longggg while and while i totally get being frustrated and wanting to get going right away, sometimes you just need a change of pace
maybe wait until the new update actually releases, it may pump you up or something
and esp if you restarted your island or anything of that sorts, everything can feel overwhelming at this point
or maybe try freestyling it
no inspo, no references, no set theme, nothing just let yourself experiment with what you are able to do in terms of decorating and keep trying diff styles until you find what works for you both ability and looks wise
if that makes sense
I guess I'll try.
seriously awesome i love your vibe
Bakery for Merengue 🍓
Hello I am designing a forest core island. I finished half of it but the other half is empty anyone wants to look around and give suggestions?
What should I do for this spot? My theme is dark cottage if you catch my drift
I want more cliff terraforming
add a lotta cliffs and make them natural with trees, flowers, all that
make dark dirt paths or stone whatever u want
once u got that layout going itll be easier to add furniture
If I had such a massive space I would either make a castle of a college campus
Okay thanks :3
Like I have my entrance for the most part
i like what u did with the terraforming
Ty :3
ofcc
Okay so what I’m gonna do is make a big slab of cliff and then shape it from there
But the thing is
Waterfalls are also a want in the situation and I’m not sure how to make them flattering enough
I am so unhappy :/
I have this Island for such a long time but I just can’t find a way to start - I think one thing that bothers me is the waterscaping - generally speaking it’s better if it doesn’t take up so much space right?
Could anyone help me telling me how they'd make a tea farm? I have a matcha themed island so I would love this so so much ^^
Fang's area
I'm also very unhappy as well. I started building something and I just left the game, I am already regretting my build, too. I can't get anyone to help me either, so I just decided to give up and face the reality I will never be able to terraform anything worthwhile for my enjoyment. I'm probably gonna quit until 3.0 comes but even then I don't know now...
I am too impatient with terraforming and I feel like if I can't do it right the first couple of times, I can't do it at all.
Dw I felt the same but just wait, a spark of imagination will come I promise
5 years, almost 6. And 7 different islands. Very much doubt that. I can't begin to even count how many hours I've wasted just building, tearing down, rebuilding. It's become a personal hell. I love this game, but I can no longer justify the amount of stress I get looking at something I built and hating it each time.
My new garden outside of my house which will be relocated.
And those trees are fruit trees.
Sorry to hear:/ Hope that you will find the motivation to get there
maybe this game just isnt for you then it shouldnt be causing you this amount of stress bro
This entry in the Animal Crossing series is probably my least liked one to date.
So I'm making a candy themed island. This is my WIP planning map of my island with the goal being to not do too much changes to the already made layout (I will be making custom bridges due to the rivers being too short in multiple areas for bridges however) I have an idea for the museum. However I don't know where to put the shops, like nooks and crannies and sister ables
(figured it out but wanted to show off my custom planning map haha)
Oh it was YOU! I found a bunch of candy related codes yesterday and remembered you were looking for them but I couldn't remember your username
I just realized Rosswell looks like a cinnamon roll
He's my chocolate representative ^°^
And having Judy as a gummy bear and Coco as a gingerbread cookie is so clever
Coco is actually one my brother liked and I decided she'd be perfect as a ginger bread cookie
He does resemble white-choco truffles too
Yesss
What is Tia supposed to be?
that is so perfect!
Yess she's actually the first villager I have so far on my list of villagers at the moment
I got Coco yesterday but she didn't move in so fauna is moving in her spot due to auto fill
I love fauna but she's not on the list
Wouldn't Marina be a better fit for lollipops? Takoyaki isn't exactly sweet
I did Zucker due to looking like candy, like a chocolate covered lolipop
I wanted villagers that could represent or looked close to treats as possible
Like Pietro is cotton candy and popcorn
Oh I see. Makes sense
Ive been trying to get judy or coco next
this is such a cute and clever idea!! can't wait to see more updates
This is wip of what my plans are so far, also planning a small area to commentate the villagers that have visited the island with photos, including a small area as a memorial to my past island zestiva
Haven't figured out where the campsite should be moved too just yet. And I know to leave a spot open for the hotel
Does anyone have natural island designs that are both playable AND pretty? I don't wanna go full pretty and it be unplayable game-wise but I also don't want it to be too barren
What is that owl near Judy's?
Playable how? My island has pretty much everything, including crops, all fruits and full access to all facilities
but I do admit my island is more on the "crowded" side
I do try to make my roads fairly walkable tho, most of them being 3 tiles wide
I could look for islands that are a bit more regular if that's what you mean
Yesss, this is kinda what i mean :)
Well this is the "oldest" part of my island which I call thr village. My island is very structured in a kinda messy way so I tried to combine that with a more rustic decoration
felicity's outdoor cafe:)
Ooooh, I like this
I wanted all crops available so placed them next to the buildings. As is the villagers there were growing them.
there was this one creator on ig, i'll brb with their @ !!
That is SO cute
pls let me know if you upload the DA
I decided to grow my fruit trees all around the island but I used to have an orchad that looked like this
that looks insane
acnh_rako is their @!!! here are some of their builds, their island is pretty spaced out and on the less crowded side, but still super visually appealing
WOAH
In a goid way I hope?
yes in a good way 😭
ofc!!! once i finish atleast the lower left corner of my island i'll upload it i think and whenever i finish a bigger area i'll update it:)
Worked on this path today for my nature themed island!
So, yesterday I said I ran out of space on my island to add a temple and a graveyard but today I said "you know what? I'LL FIND THAT SPACE" and so I did
I couldn't get space for the graveyard (yet) but I managed to get some for the "temple" which is mostly ruins and... a little secret for future visitors
It was a PAIN to work here but it came out way better than what I had before. But really, I tortured mys3lf with this one. A thin peninsula, a super tiny beach and the most hideous rock in the back
I'm quite shocked I managed to sneak in an oak and a palm tree
The shell fountain in the back is an extension to this area but is an even bigger struggle to work with so it is on hold for now
Oh, so you are planning on moving it there, I see. Then why not move the campsite near the beach? It does look like some kind of cake when is up imo
Ooh true I'll move it there then thanks!
This is the plan so far for my island
I'm wanting to make a path that can be interchangeable for each area so I'll be doing that soon, and using fences to help place them down as I don't have access to the creator app yet
U are making a candy land 😮
Yes hehe
I love that idea
Np
I just went to get some ice fences for the entrance ways into the island
Ooo niceee
I am trying to make mine look like a winter wonderland it will look better once the snow in game actually sticks
Old design was very blocky very straight hill with rivers and ponds so I could get every fish. A fenced area for each seasonal event items
Now it's completely Zelda themed!
I should have taken more before pictures
I suddenly came up with a rush of creativity and figured out a layout for it and it came out BEAUTIFULLY
but I've decided not to post it and keep it as a surprise for my DA release
what should i do with this area? its the entrance to a graveyard
how do you plan your islands!
i’m in awe
I don't
I just go around creating a my island's lore and the stories for each character
At some point around that, my brain just clicks in and I'm like "maybe this thing would look good here or have some functionality"
Then I just spend extended periods of time wandering around my island until I find a spot that suits the idea
@autumn talon Hey! Want to see my new garden?
Then I completely hate what I came up with, destroy it and rebuild like 7 times
Overall make a list of places you'd like to add and go with your gut
YES
In all honesty I’m going with the flow… is how I created this:
AKA my lovely garden.
These two cliffs had a completely empty area and I was wondering to make it my campsite but I made it into a garden.
Tbh I'm so jealous of people that can grow crops comfortably. Especially because I use a lot of food to decorate and farming the produce is so difficult with just one plant of each
Here’s another fun thing I did.
In all honesty two things.
- You should’ve seen my husband’s face when he saw it was a secret path XD.
- The secret path was made because I was making a semi walkway between the two islands but I didn’t like how it interrupted the flow of the river/larger lake… in turn, I made the double waterfall as a sort of illusion of sorts like so just the path wasn’t an eyesore to look at- combined with ruining how the waterfall/lake got there.
And the one in the front creates the illusion of being connected! That's genius!!
Thank you! I’ve decided to make this what you have to use to get to my museum.
My "secret" pathways are just ladders. I'm so uncreative in that aspect.
I’ll admit I’ve taken some inspiration from a childhood game of mine.
In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky.
As in that game you have to literally jump through a waterfall to get into the dungeon… in this case, you have to get between a waterfall/cliffs and trees to find the hidden walkway.
You know, my museum is my biggest frustration on my island. It's my favorite facity yet it has the most boring entrance but it's all the space I could spare for it
Definitely! Feel free to tag me
i feel like i get overwhelmed with ideas and i dont start them pfft
You could combine those that seem similar so you can work on "several at once" and see if any part of it works
It has worked for me to move ideas around the island or keeping them together
i did plan out it a tiny bit on my ipad this time around, and have LOTS of pinterest inspo im just waiting for my kk concert so i can start getting my permits (i restarted my island)
In all honesty something I’ve learned throughout my time playing ACNH is to not overdo it on over decorating tbh as well do not as well if possible stress what your island looks like compared to others.
ive also heard starting at the back of the island first helps??
Oh definitely.
But this time around I started with my entrance.
And everything else fell into place after.
I am an overdoer by choice, it's simply what I enjoy. But the comparison part is so true. I remember when I still used instagram. I was obsessed with other creators' islands and mine was never what I wanted
this^!!! i love a cluttered but flowly island if that makes sense, but pinterest is the same (half of its modded and unrealistic)
flowy*
I love Pokémon mystery dungeon! I love that you used it as inspiration for your island!
Never tried it so can't say. What helps me in particular is figuring out the entrace, as I see it as a mix of everything the rest of the island will be. It's like a scrapbook.
@autumn talon my museum entrance.
Thank you! I’m so glad it worked out so well!
The flex
I finally took the plunge and have started updating parts of my island that have been the same for years!!!
Sorry if it feels like that 😅
I’ll have to post my beach that I did last night!
im gonna try this, ill send updates here once i get started
ooooo
Nah, it's cool. I think I have never seen a museum entrance that rounds up from the back. That's interesting
I’ll admit I was to planning to use the castle pieces right away but they just fit with the notion I wanted my museum to feel like a temple than a museum.
Believe it or not it’s because want to see where it leads to?
You know the answer to that question
Just so when I get art and such from Redd, all I’ve got to do is follow that path to my museum. XD
A super secret secret beach
That just makes Redd's smuggle goods even more sus, I love it
How so XD
Maybe he has a secret deal with Blathers out of beef with Tom
Wouldn't surprise me tbh
XD. Why?
I’ll admit the museum being a temple at the very back of my island came from my oldest island I’ve ever made when it was all a reference/reflection of my story back then.
This is the beach I decorated last night 🙂 it used to be a really basic cafe haha
i really like that
Thank you 😭🥹 I’m very proud of it, I’ve been pushing myself to get better at decorating!
i love when people use the beaches
, i love your decorating style!!
Thank you 😭🥹
of course!!
I’m really excited to share my island and learn from people! I’ve been really wanting to get to know other animal crossing people
You can do it!
Aye, aye!
