Brown will b where the museum goes, im gonna make it look like an ancient temple.
Grey will b an old port town (will include Nook's Cranny and some day Coco's house)
Tan will be an ancient possibly japanese style village (Shino will live there and Able Sisters will be there)
Dark Blue is gonna look like an alien landing site (Roswell will live there)

Just go for it! If it doesn’t look up to your standards, redo it until it looks how you want (Yes it will take a lot of time, and nobody is bad…it just takes time and practise! Be patient)

depending on the layout, if you want to flatten you island, move all buildings off the cliffs / ground and onto the beaches, if they don’t fit on the beaches move them to one area (like in the corners), then move the buildings into the places you want when you’re ready

It took me maybe a day of playing on and off to place all the mannequins to rock proof the island, and then one rock respawns per game day. So without time travel you would have to leave your island covered in mannequins for a week

Unfortunately there’s no way to connect them as they are since they’re both default game paths. You’d have to find one of them as a custom design if you want them to connect

There's unfortunately nothing you can place there depending on the kind of event you are hosting, would using two warp pipes to transport players to the event area work over fencing everything off on the walkway work?
If you want/need to use fences though, the best you can probably do is place fences also alongside the bottom side of the ledge, although that will take a few more fences

I'm not sure what to do for the blue section of my island

Each color section has a different theme

But they're all tied together by being a bit natural

The sections are:

Pink: spring core
Red: kid core
Orange: farm core
Yellow: tropical
Green: east Asian
Blue: idk
Purple: a more specific variation of natural (there aren't a lot of purple items)

i would suggest using a online planner to at least draw out what you want to terraform!~ There's a site called Happy Island Designer that's free to use online

honestly no, but some people prefer to do that as a blank slate, but I just terraformed and flattened when i was working on a specific area.

Planning ahead on paper or on an online planner helps a long way tho for terraforming!

I think the tricky part is giving them the lopsided / cast-aside look that this album cover has — maybe stack some of the items on boxes / shelves, and place other items in front of the boxes / shelves, to give the illusion of a scattered stack.

Hi - hope this is the correct place to ask my question. I'm trying to create a moon type window using MA codes I found online ( in photo) but I cannot figure out how to use them correctly. I thought I could use simple panels and put these outside but .... maybe no... ?

the design they made doesn't really work with simple panels because the middle is a square unless you're fine with the gap. They designed it mainly to go on wallpaper

I'll attach an example of a zen/shrine/villager yard I did. I honestly find just looking at other builds and seeing how some items can be utilized helps a lot, and remember to go to Cyrus to customize colors! It really helps a lot if you're find things aren't jiving. As for custom designs I go to the portal and look up key words like bamboo and scroll until I find one that will work in my area, I suck at making custom designs so I leave it to the professionals haha

A tough thing to accept is that buildings and cliffs will always have a green grass poking through but you can use items like partitions and fences to hide the imperfections

You can place buildings on the beach if they fit, or just place them in a area that’s empty, then move them when the place you want them is ready. The only fast way to do this, is by timetravelling.
