For my island, I made a butterfly pond and made it into a garden. You could do the same for your heart pond if you want. Just place trees, bushes, flowers, and some items that fit the vibe you’re going for around it.

hmmm I think adding some tall furniture items or trees to make it feel a little more closed in or used would be good. One other suggestion would be to not connect the fence the whole way or alternate with a different fence for me texture/variety (bushes, wheat fields, etc.) to make it more interesting. I do like the placement of the camp site and the fire! Maybe like a seat and fishing rod near the pond would be cute too

So I believe the island in that second image the shops are at the very back of the island and it's just a waterfall between ables and nooks so it could fit if you have a ramp go down by nooks. If you want more space and the shops close to the airport, you could consider have only one elevated then angle the terraforming to lead you to RS for something similar. If you still want water, you could consider a pond with bridge to angle it.

Maybe it would help to decorate the area first. Like, erase all of that and place trees, bushes, flowers, etc. that way you probably have a clear idea of what direction you want the path to go. I also suggest looking at tours of natural islands to see how others did it. I’m sure there’s even a tutorial or two on how to place the path. I’ve gotten the hang of using paths like that, but I’m terrible at explaining how to place it. Basically, the path should be skinny and curvy. Even breaking the path up helps with how it looks too.

Do whatever you think looks pretty but I will say I would spread your houses apart so your villagers wander around a little more. Also moving things around costs a lot of Bell's so I would start saving up. Also if you have no idea what to do just find things you like online make it yours and put it all together. Well furniture and decor I really recommend wooden items, mushrooms for cottage core, color palletes of brown beige, foresty stuff the silo hyacinths flower beds (use reese and cyrus to get your desired color) definitely the windmill

Googling with “” also brings up specific results mentioning whatever is in the quotes so ‘animal crossing “Tokyo” “Asian” “Japanese” etc will pull a wider net of images

there’s also a image to animal crossing image converter online you can scan with your phone to add to your nookphone custom designs if you can’t find something in the actual design department (I’ve had to do this lol)

Nooks Cranny is on the left and Ables is on the right of the museum. Nooks and Ables both have cliffs with waterfalls coming down the sides of them. I would like my museum to be similar but I cannot go beyond two levels on the cliff.

Depending on what you have you could just add some small decals of like darker flower arrangements, making the floor path have plant growth seeping in from the outside in or having some sprout up , basically I’d personally just recommend some filler details of the things you like but it also already looks really good

It’s almost always easiest to completely flatten if you want to fully redo your island.

The fairy lights are an item called “Plain party lights” and the tent is called “Kids tent”. The stars are an item called “Nova lights” which can be crafted with 5 star fragments. The smaller stars are various star fragments scattered around.

I love that aestheticccc! I would say make it into like a tropical resort or something, super luxurious those zodiac furniture pieces could be really nice there although it takes a while to get the recipes. Lots of palm trees, lots of coconuts, all along the beach should be like those chairs where you lay down and then on the actual island could be bars with coconut juice, restaurants, your house could be a hotel, there can even be a stage for performances! Just some ideas there, good luck with designing!

My advice is that you pick a single area you want to work on/experiment with. The entrance, the secret beach, an orchard, a neighbor’s yard, the shops, etc. start small and work up from there. Your island’s natural terraforming could save time if you determine you want to try something with it before you flatten your island
