To use the custom codes in ACNH you need to have the Able Sister's Shop in your town to use the Kiosk in the building. That is the only way to use the codes. It is where you can upload/download designs. Input the strings of numbers/letters to get the design. This is only able to be used if you TT to get the store, as of right now this is based on what Blogs say to do.

How To Scan QR Codes
- buy the QR recipe (PRO Customization) from the nook miles machine (800 miles)
- download the nintendo switch online app and log in
- go into the nso app and click animal crossing
- follow the instructions for how to set it up in your game
- reopen the NSO app
- scan the QR (from a PC or another phone — you can’t scan saved images on your phone)
- open the clothing app on your nook phone in the game
- hit (+) download
- select a save slot for your new pattern
