I always say don't reset unless the reason is something you can't change such as your island name, player name, etc.

Especially if you don't want to start your museum over and like your villagers

Are you past 3 stars? If so, and you're trying to redo your island, first step would to be to call resetti to clean up all of the furniture, custom designs, and flowers. Gives you less work to clean up on your own. You'll still have to manually take care of weeds, trees, and terraforming but it helps!

Hello! Catalog islands are islands where the owner has various items dropped around their island for other people to pick up then drop on the ground again. When a player picks up and then drops an item it goes into their catalog meaning that they will be able to order that item for themselves! Just so you're aware, there are some items in the game that can technically be cataloged, but cannot be reordered. You can see if anyone is doing catalog islands in #cataloging

If you do, make sure to get one from a second hand game store, not a retailer. They're around 100-120 at most second hand game stores and sometimes come with an SD card and are always still in fantastic condition (all 3 of the ones me and my partner have between us did) but at a store like Walmart or target they're being sold for 299$ now which is insane.

Gamestop has them for 179. But honestly. The switch 1 og is 209 at gamestop. I generally dont reccomend a lite

For one. The joy cons arent detachable. So WHEN they get drift- not if. When. You'll have to send in the entire system in for repair. The og switch does everything the lite does but better with more features.

Fb marketplace has og switches (non oled) for generally 150-200. Sometimes less. Gamestop has them for 209.

she shrugged different people have different opinions and thats alright ^^ the lite works fine for a lot of people. But drift is a well known common issue. If you were to go for a lite, id replace the joysticks with hall effect ones or pay to have it done. To me, its not worth being unable to play an ENTIRE system when I can just get a joycon replacement for free at gamestop every time mine break. That and the og does everything the lite does with more features- i dont see the appeal. Smaller, more portable for some. Less versatility and options as a whole as a gaming console.
