I saw a Reddit post earlier complaining about 3.0 and I do wish people knew more about the games they’re comparing to. Like not every building in New Leaf had 3 upgrades, Kapp’n and family do pretty much the same thing just differently in both New Leaf and New Horizons. Also, Luna and Dream Addresses have the exact same functionality in both New Leaf and New Horizons lol

I love both games, and both games have their good moments and bad moments lol, I just hope 3.0 adds some more dialogue to the pool. 😅

every video i watch, whether it be a decor video, terraforming, or just a normal let's play, the person playing it is running everywhere, not talking to their villagers unless they're crafting, etc. people have lost the ability to be intentional with the game, i feel like. they just wanna get to the terraforming part of it. which i get it, i love terraforming. but that isn't all that animal crossing is. and so people have enjoyed the game a lot less because of that

they complain they want more to do, but the full truth is, there is so much to do. they just rush through it all

In the original Animal Crossing in Tom Nooks store nook and go there is an anti-theft mirror in the top left. The police department has a wanted poster. The shop originally is really run down with spider webs and the mayor is old. I find this juxtaposition and evolution in character of the series extremely interesting. The subtext given by the environment is that it's a very rural town not without it's problems, but as the series progresses it quickly becomes a sort of utopia type environment. Does anyone know of any similar things in the original game? I know the English dialog falls within this realm but I'm pretty sure the original Japanese script doesn't

My dad died when I was 6 and when I turned 18 I was given a large check from the government, I gave a lot of it to Mom because we were working on getting a better home and I bought a car for 2k then spent the rest to get my switch, a high quality wireless pro controller with Zelda Twilight princess link on it, and an arm load of switch games, I don't have the games anymore because unfortunately there was a point when I had to start selling my things just to pay bills but I still have my switch and pro controller

I usually just go about my daily chores and then look for how many points I received. I also recommend clearing your tasks for those points before doing anything else. Why? Because it is replaced with another task where you could get more points from.

I had an Island back when the game released had allot of bells and turnips and furniture but flattened the island and lost interest cause of how daunting it was at the time. Then got a new switch a couple months ago and realized my Island didn't back. Starting over after seeing new updates are coming

i had a switch lite and didnt properly move my island over because i wanted two when i finally bought the animal crossing switch. but then i factory reset my switch lite to give it to my little sister in law for christmas last year. and well. my switch island also vanished into the void that day i guess
