the biggest concern you may have start of game might be bells, which is the currency system! ((ill pull up this command after, too)). starting out you get 2 villagers -- a sisterly and a jock. later on Tom Nook will ask about recruiting 3 more, a Peppy, Lazy, and Normal type! and then after that, a sixth via a campsite youll build later! after that its fair game, basically ^^
right now you can i think use NMTs, after paying off your first home loan of 5k Nook Miles, which tom will explain in a bit. you should see a villager on these islands that fit the 3 personality types (lazy, peppy, normal), which if you like one of them you can offer to have them live on your island! they'll be there for the 3 plots quest ^^

Stuff like that. All the while I suffer from emotionally charged episodes and being depresso. Was also told that one of my symptoms is I sleep too much or too little.

Yeah, thats pretty normal. Talk to tom nook for advice, but otherwise, the game is time based. Things take typically a day to complete, so if youre not interested in time traveling, it will feel like it moves a bit slowly at first.

Oh thats so cool! I miss my high school symphonic orchestra program. Cool people. I don't play in an orchestra anymore, I kind of just play for myself, and it takes a lot of the stress out of it. It's been a very healing experience.
