We're a few hours into it. The similarity to AC is you have an island area to customize and decorate with your house and other resident houses. However the game is primarily more a JRPG style game, you are given quests and you battle enemies then level up and have skill trees to assign points to etc. If you want a purely AC style game it's not it. If you want a JRPG with an AC vibe I would recommend it. We're having a blast with it so far.

Thé thing is you never know which resident wants to leave… is always random… another trick is that you go in one house, but leave immediately… thats thé villager you want presumably to wsnt to leave… then talk to three other villagers then save the game and move 1 month

the only games to my knowledge that don't rely on normal cloud saving is animal crossing new horizons and splatoon 2 - so you should just be able to use the in-built cloud saving if you have NSO.

Otherwise, you can just do the manual system transfer.

Which moves all saves aside from the specific games (ACNH/Splatoon 2 for example)

the only thing I fear is how people will feel about it being a Switch 2 title -

If its a Switch 2 exclusive, people with Switch 1's will be understandably upset because its not on Switch 1

First, I'm assuming it is a Windows PC. Second, when on the sign in screen, click the option to "turn off" but hit "troubleshoot." You'll get options to "reset" or "restore" but you'll need to enter a user credential.

Your best bet, go buy windows and install over it. Or just get a new computer at that point. Sorry!

Do you have another computer? Not sure what version of Windows you have, but it looks like their website lets you download a recovery drive for Windows 11. You'd have to put it onto a USB, plug it into your PC, start it up and boot from that drive. Hopefully that could do something?
