The game and switch were bought from someone else, I was playing on my own Nintendo account but I didn’t get a chance to name the island. Does the island name save to the switch or can individual accounts use different names on the same switch?

your best bet is to factory reset the switch and log in with your own nintendo account

no point playing on someone else's switch, they'd have access to any purchases you make and could log you out at any time

Yes, the island name is connected to the Switch itself, not the account! You can only have one island per Switch, so deleting the save data is the only way to make a new island

hi I have my helix :) healing time is 6-12 months and you can't sleep on the side you get it at all during that time

it didn't hurt for me but it pinched just a little bit
