i think the island was a cute idea, but they didn't really play into it very well. Like wouldn't it be great to be able to go to multiple smaller islands and have semi permanent villagers come? or even have them visit. I think the DLC should have come with the game instead of having to buy it separately. I also think that kappn' should have been in the base game instead of the update. I think new horizons was rushed because of COVID and they saw "dollar signs" when releasing the game in March. Yes, the game had such a positive impact on the "COVID experience", and it helps thousands of people, including me, but they could have waited a month or so to make the game better
