I tried to play New Horizons from just the base game, and it REFUSED to let me play it at all unless I updated the game, it flat out would not let me boot it.

One day, 10-20 years from now, when you want to replay an old Switch game, Nintendo could very well shut the ability down to download game updates on Switch, and then your physical game is just useless as the digital game if you haven't got the recent update.

Nice! Everyone games a little different. I have a handful of core Nintendo games, which are larger. I know many are into as many Indy games as possible (not really my thing) so it plays a difference. You'll proably make it up to the Switch 2 release!

Yeah in my 6 years of buying from Amazon, how they treated me with a literal pre-order that was brand new, and giving me fake micro sd cards despite the seller being themselves, Customer Support really understood why I simply don't like using Amazon anymore xD

I'm sure its fine for a lot of people

but in my 6 years, never has a site treated me as a customer so poorly
