Amiibos still need to be invited 3 separate times, even if you have an empty plot.

• Can I choose who the Amiibo villager kicks out?
Yes, just make sure you've spoken to that villager at least once and their house isn't currently being relocated.

None, it's just that Leif only sell crop starts, but if you have one plant, you can replant the gathered crops to have more plants

The only exception being pumpkins: starts give a random color plant when planted, but planting a pumpkin will give the same pumpkin plant color

It's uncommon for them to spawn there by themselves, you'd have better luck using fish bait to force them to spawn near the pier

There is not, but you can see the name of the design. You can then search for that name, exactly as written, using the “criteria search” option in the design portal. That’ll bring you to it, as long as it hasn’t been deleted by its creator.

(Of course, keep in mind this isn’t so helpful if the name of the design is in a language you can’t type on your Switch 🙃)

If you didn't buy the DLC, no one else has access to your account and you're not using the NSO expansion it has no reason to appear as purchased

And even if you canceled that, technically you're still in the pre-expansion free trial phase

To me, it looks like the cliff and staircase are both too close to the water. If you had another tile of land on the land you're standing on and got rid of a portion of the cliff/evened the water out to compensate for the extra tile of land it'd work I think!

I'd bet the circled portion of the river is on tier 2, and the lower portion transitions to tier 1. It would create the same effect, but whether or not it looks nice will be up to you! I'd say give it a try and see how it looks--remember you can preview bridges before you place them!

When you see a tarantula/scorpion, raise your net and start approaching it slowly. Whenever it starts to look aggressive, raising its legs/claws etc, stop until it calms down. Repeat until you get close enough to release the net and catch the arachnid
For finding one, you could fully demolish a nook miles island in order to make one more likely to spawn. But the chances are that you'll just stumble upon one during normal gameplay when playing after 7pm

You can dig up a gyroid fragment (found on Kapp’n tours). Then bury and water it. It will grow into a full gyroid that you can dig up the next day!

After that, they can also be found on your own island the day after it rains

He’s a kappa (sort of looks like a turtle?) who will offer special boat tours. He will be docked at your pier once you’ve unlocked him - which happens the day after KK’s first visit!
