Well, the touchscreen is pretty much unimplemented in ACNH, apart from the bulletin board messages and the typing keyboard. You can't use the touch screen to design patterns, and using a stylus rather than your finger would be the same since neither would work.

When you see a scorpion, raise your net and start approaching it slowly. Whenever it starts to look aggressive, raising its claws etc, stop until it calms down. Repeat until you get close enough to release the net and catch it

It’s important to note though that villagers will not ask to leave on holidays, k.k. Slider visits, bug/fish tourneys, or their birthdays (IIRC). I’ve also heard around noon is the best time to look for thought bubbles

All except Giant beetle spawn between 8pm and 5am, while Giant beetle appears between 11pm and 8am. Would recommend possibly going to a mystery island after 11pm, and removing all the flowers and such in order to reduce spawns of other bugs. You could also chop down all the regular trees after catching the Giant beetle, as all the rest only spawn on palm trees. Keep also in mind that mystery islands' critter spawns stay at the hour you arrived on, so if you don't like staying up late catching the Giant stag, you could just leave the game open and Switch in sleep mode after arriving to the island, and hunt for the bugs the next day

If they are fakes they will not mess up your game in any way, but there’s a chance they may not work properly, may be of the wrong character, etc. and it’s also a way to potentially get scammed. it’s best to stick to official amiibos to avoid issues like that, plus it’s also against Nintendo’s TOS (which we abide by as well in this server), but they will at least not corrupt your game data so you don’t have to worry about that.

In the beginning just follow Tom nook’s advice (the big raccoon in the green tent). As for playing with other people you need the Nintendo online subscription and you enter 5 digit password people give you called dodo codes at the airport in order to fly over to their islands. If you were looking to trade with people here specifically you also need the trade role from #721542917264638002 to get access to the trading part of the server.

You can grind NMT islands for more materials since you can only get so many a day from your own island. You can time travel if you like to speed up the process and collect more that way. You can also always trade with others to get the materials you need

.t timetravel | Time travel is an term often used in the community to mean changing the date/hour of your console clock to artificially trigger new days in the game or go to a specific timeframe you want, to progress faster or because you're otherwise unable to play at those moments.

Time traveling does not reverse / rewind progress. You still keep all the progress, items, etc. that you've completed / acquired even if you time travel backwards.

although it's worth noting that AC is designed to be played day by day and progressing rather slowly. it's fine if you prefer not to though lol
There are a few consequences to time travel though, just gimme a minute to find the list of effects
