It's hard because they're the same shape and there's ever only one at a time in your view. If two fish could be right next to eachother, one a 5 and one a 6, you'd be more easily able to tell the difference... but that's not the case so it's harder

But to answer your question more directly... no I don't think there's a good way to easily distinguish between a 5 and a 6

You can start to move out villagers after your 6th villager moves in. Unfortunately you have to move in your first campsite visitor (or they’ll never leave), but you can replace them when you’re further in the game

yeah so the plan would be have a big field of them (itll be a desert island so ill have big empty spots fortunatly) and then right before the DA upload ill remove the field and then upload DA right after. that might work unless the DA resets the ornament count

yeah i dont mind doing lots of work the day of the DA upload though. my first island to prepare on the day of a DA I reset the day till the proper villager has their craftng bench out (one of my villagers has a diy naturally used in their house decor) since the da will save the villagers bench which can ruin the appeal of an island. then i dig up all 91 fruit tree saplings I have stunting trees to help the game run smoother. after that I plant 21 green hydrangea in my inventory with the blue and pink to have a variety of bush colors. It's kinda zen to go through the trimming process

so I just want to say, I built a house that had both a workbench and stove in it and the villager in question didn't replace any furniture to use either one, so the item being replaced may have to do with not leaving enough space that said villager can get to the workshop and use it

Yes, I believe Avery meant that for example if a villager only has a workbench, they'll replace something when they want to cook. But you're correct that they need full free tiles in front of the stations, or they'll replace something with their own one

How can I get miles fast

Fastest way is to grind Nook miles+ tasks, assuming you've already done all the non-grindy big tasks (you tend to do them as you play normally).

Planting one of each fruit and asking someone to temporarily let you hold their gold tools also gives you a big boost (which I can do in about 2 hours if you want. Just dm me if so)

Nothing, unless one of them is your newest villager or the one you last said no to about leaving. Villagers moving out is in the end just luck based, so you might be just having bad luck

with any axe except a flimsy axe, a fruit tree will be 1 hit to knock down fruit, then 3 hits before the tree breaks. and just 3 hits for regular trees! eating fruit allows you to dig up a whole tree, the tree can still be chopped down without eating :)

just play the game with another profile. the character will be linked to the profile on that island, meaning the player can only play that chracter on your personal switch

If a second person moves onto your island, do they have the same custom designs as you? As in, you can’t get more custom design slots by having another human villager? I swear I keep seeing people with islands that have more than 100 slots….

Okay @hexed garnet Generally you want a score of at least 665 in the "Development" category and 450 in the "Scenery" category is required to achieve a 5-star island rating.  Much of the scoring is based on a system which divides your island into 8x8 grids, so you want to have a good amount of nice and handmade items, trees and flowers on your island for the point system, but fairly spaced out so they're not all congested in one area. Even if they're not dropped items Isabelle will tell you it's too cluttered. Just a problem I see people run into often!

As far as development goes having all of your shops upgraded and putting bridges and inclines throughout your island is huge — you're always welcome to stop by if you need an idea of the spacing and whatnot!

High quality crafted furniture, fully grown trees and hybrid flowers rack up your points pretty fast!

How to MAKE BELLS, the SIMPLE Way:

1. Play the stalk market: buy turnips at a low price and sell them high.
2. Dive and catch sea creatures to sell back to Nook's Cranny.
3. Grow stuff (fruits, flowers, pumpkins, etc) and sell to Nook's Cranny.
4. If you have a NSO (Nintendo Switch Online), trade with other players by visiting #721542917264638002 and seeing where to sell your services or goods!
