id recommend making one just after you unlock terraforming and have a rough idea of how you wanna decorate

As far as i know, villagers will only wear designs you have posted in your albles. They will not keep wearing designs from the island they moved from. They will wear clothes that were given to them by previous players, and you can talk to Isabel to get them to stop wearing those.

IIRC you can just place a turnip down, walk right/left 5 or so tiles more after the turnip goes off screen, and drop the other one, and then cycle between those. Works at least during the bug-off, never seen anyone do it outside of the event though, so if the event has increased bug spawns (<- am not sure) that won't work outside the event but pretty sure ants generally have a high spawn rate, so if you drop a bunch of turnips scattered all around your island, you're bound to get quite a few ants just during your daily activities

Here's the criteria for the colour bonus. And assuming all the items in the room are in the picture, with some quick calculations only ~45% of your items are considered red (based on educated assumptions about what colour the game categorizes each item as)

• Villagers' gifted clothing can be removed by complaining to Isabelle about the way they dress when they actually wear the clothing item in question (note that she will remove all items currently worn by the villager).

•• Replacing Furniture ••
• Villagers have the option to invite you to visit their house when you are at a high enough friendship level. During this visit, they'll eventually propose you to buy one of their displayed items. Doing so will remove the item from their house.
• Owners of the Happy Home Paradise also have the option to directly customize villagers' houses after completion of the main part of the DLC. This also unlocks the option to reset the houses to their default layout via Isabelle.

In order to build the Campsite, you'll first have to upgrade your Resident Services building. In order to do that, you'll have to build 3 houses and get 3 new villagers to move into your island. If you talk to Tom nook he should bring it up

Just keep doing what Tom nook says and he will eventually bring up adding a campsite . 🙂

Bugs require certain conditions to spawn, including months of the year, the weather, and the environment. Tarantulas require it to be nighttime (7 PM - 4 AM specifically) and during the correct months. In the Northern Hemisphere that's November through April, while Southern Hemisphere players will need to be playing from May to October.

Preferably you will want a single-level island, because islands with higher ground can make this more difficult, so feel free to try again to get a flatter island

The most important part of this method is to remove all of the resources on the island, removing the chance of other kinds of bugs spawning. Chop down the trees, dig up the stumps, break all the rocks, pick all the flowers, and remove all the weeds.

you will still have to clear bugs such as wharf roaches, mosquitoes, and crickets manually. Either catch and release these bugs or chase them until they run away.

afaik, you're gonna get a lot of non-blue offspring if you breed them, so cloning would be the way to go. I'm not expert but the most compact cloning layout you could have for a single species is literally just placing them like this and removing all offspring as soon as they appear, to prevent unwanted breeding

That's because the pattern has no transparent pixel, if you want it to blend in with the path it's placed on top of you need at least one transparent pixel

You can't modify patterns if you're not the creator, so the only fix on your end would be to remove the pathing under the area you want the blanket

The terrain can be altered after you get the terraforming tools so the mainland doesn't matter much, but you can't modify the beach, the airport placement, the resident services building placement and the river ends

HOW DO I GET MORE MATERIALS FROM ROCKS?

• Visit Nook Miles Ticket islands (mystery tours). These islands always have rocks you can hit for materials.
  -Trade with other players if you have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Make sure you have the trade role from #721542917264638002, then visit #materials-and-tools.
• Wait for the rocks' respawn (everyday at 5 am) and extract the most materials from each rock by following this guide: https://chibisnorlax.github.io/acnhfaq/island-life/#how-can-i-get-8-hits-from-a-rock

i believe this depends on: upgrading nook boys’ shop, having them visit, and spending (don’t quote me on this) $5k. the next week when they visit, you’ll be given their construction kit.

If you go to the nook cranny and go to the item cabinet and you will find a recipe bundle titled 'Basic Cooking Recipes' which retails for 4,980 Bells! (If you are talking about cooking recipes 😅)

Yes, you have to tell the villager that you agree on them moving out. Otherwise they won't leave. Maybe your kids mixed up which option is which, or something?

• The basic idea is to fill your island with plants and furniture, as Isabelle usually suggests. So if she says to add flowers, do it - or at least, wait for them to be fully bloomed (to get the max points from them) ; Same thing if she hints at adding furniture.

Having someone hold him for you is way easier, assuming that your holder has an amiibo they can use to kick Cephalobot off their island like Kia also suggested. AFAIK you can invite him back onto the same empty plot he'll leave behind, so there won't be any excessive time travel needed either

You'd have to time travel one day and the holder three days, as amiibos have to be invited to the campsite thrice before moving in, but yes, as far as I know you should be able to get him back very quickly that way. :)

(you could also do it without time traveling if you wished, as the middlemen on this server can hold villagers for 72 hours, but it's quicker with time travel!)
