With island hopping + villager hunting, is rolling any villager within a species the same chance? Like is it the same percentage chance rolling any cat? Say, same likelihood rolling Rosie or Punchy?

The game starts rolling for species then villagers, so yes same chance to find Rosie and punchy, but you're less likely to them than Tipper for example since there's almost 20 cats and just 4 cows.
Sape odds for cows and cats, but less odds for a specific cat

The only way the campsite will replace another villager is if you have 10 villagers. Otherwise they will just choose to move into an empty plot, and not give the option to replace anyone

there is no limit as how much furniture you can place in a room per say, but you cannot place furniture on top of furniture if that makes sense. the game has an automated system where items cannot be placed too close next to other items. hope that helped!

Okay I’m back with another question. I’m buying a second switch for animal crossing (I have a physical copy of the game), I’d like to have another island. I have Nintendo online on my current switch (let’s call it switch A) but I also want to have it on my new one (switch B). Let’s say I transfer my account save data from switch A to switch B, and then log back into my Nintendo account on switch A so that I can use Nintendo online on both. As well as use my physical copy of the game on both switches. Will this mess with my save data? Am I able to use the same account like this for Nintendo online on both switches? I really do not want to destroy my save data as I’m extremely attached to my current island. Should I just make a whole new Nintendo account for switch B and deal with paying for Nintendo online for both?

In order to be getting the most of out them, you'd ideally want at least one of each personality type (The game gives you Jock, Sisterly, Peppy, Normal, Lazy and Smug as you progress, you'd just have to get a Cranky and a Snooty yourself) in order to make it somewhat easier getting all the DIYs as each personality type crafts stuff from their own separate pools

I've found that putting more furniture on the island helps a lot

The best way would be to determine your island seed using Meteonook really. That way you know what days will have rain. Its entirely possible you have a few days in a row that have rain and such

If you want to change the color/variation entirely you would need to bring your items to Cyrus at Harv’s commune. Every time you design a home, you unlock that home's "furniture set" for your furniture selection. At some point you also unlock all the items in your catalogue, and all the DIY items you've crafted at least once. You can go back and remodel old homes with new items
And you can bring items bought with poki to your island

Fair enough, it's just up to bubble RNG then, unless he's the last villager you said no to about moving. A trick to getting him to get the bubble is that when you see a (presumed) moveout bubble, don't talk to the villager who has it, and it has a chance to transfer to someone else the following day. You can do this until it his Camofrog also, moveout bubbles usually appear immediatelly whrn you open the game, in case it'll help you recognize what is a moveout bubble and what isn't. Though the general rule is to not talk to villagers apart from Camofrog if they have a bubble

I'm trying to do the tarantula hunting method but with scorpions and the spawn rates seem a lot lower than when I last did tarantula hunting on the island. Was this method patched/nerfed? What should I do?

The spawn rates were reduced a lot more than a year ago if you are trying to make money with that (for both tarantulas and scorpions). It should still help you get a few as long as you are on the right dates and time. It just not might be worth it to make money

• Method 3. Make an additional island rep, pick up the item with that rep, then delete the rep from your game. --> This method does seem to get rid of the item permanently.

It should work if you just make a character with a secondary profile on your island, pick it up then remove that character by pressing (-) on the title screen and talking to Tom Nook

Firstly you need Nintendo Switch Online, then you click the Nintendo Switch Online thing on the home menu of the switch and go to the "Missions and Rewards" tab and scroll across to Animal Crossing, from there you're able to buy the villager icons for the villagers who's birthday it is in the current month. As of right now all April Birthdays are still there but for me (could be different elsewhere) it shows they will be updating them to the May birthdays at 01:00 UTC on the 2nd May. You keep ones you've purchased, but you won't be able to go back to get ones from previous months

Lightly Gifted -> usually refers to the fact the villager may have a few items on display in their home that aren't normally there/wear a few outfits they've been gifted that they wouldn't normally use

Heavily Gifted -> House probably looks a lot different to how it should look with/Villager will wear lots of different outfits they've been gifted

No, so when you create another profile on your Nintendo Switch and load the game, you'll be able to make another character to live on your island

Place your tent down on this profile, then use the character to pick up the mannequin piece and then save and quit.

While still on this profile on the main menu, press the (-) button and you should be able to click "delete resident registration" or something along them lines. This will remove that secondary character entirely from the island including what they have in their inventory

there is no hard schedule for any of them, just that the rotating ones are all guaranteed to come every two weeks

it'll take 3 visits total, but when he comes, you can work towards the 3

Time traveling does not reverse / rewind progress. You still keep all the progress, items, etc. that you've completed / acquired even if you time travel backwards.

If I made a spare alt on my island, all the custom designs on my first person will carry over, but if I erase them will I get those spots back or will it delete them on my other player too?

You can TT back to a night with shooting stars. Weather patterns are set in stone for your island.
If you went out of the week that might have resetted your NPCs

you’ve got an option at game start to choose the opposite hemisphere, if you want to. the best way is the seasonal markers, i believe. ex: if you have mushrooms spawning, you’d be in the southern hemisphere.

Like Windigo mentioned, its currently mushroom season in the southern hemisphere so you'd see mushrooms around your trees, the grass would be a sort of orangey yellow colour. Trees would be turning orange/red/brown.
If you're in the Northern, its spring. The grass is green, trees are green, so if it looks like spring/summer, it sounds like you've chosen the Northern Hemisphere

Stars that fall from the sky, you can wish from them, getting star fragment on your beach the next day. They appear on some nights (sky is most likely clear)
