AFAIK if you have a character on the island without a profile associated to them, the game will ask you to pick a profile for them, so you'd have to delete the player via that option in the menu you sent a pic of. But Aphrodite most likely knows better than me lol, so probably better to listen to her ^^;

Oh! I’m just saying this because I actually did it myself, I deleted my bf’s user from the switch because he plopped down a house where I didn’t want it lol and it worked so I’m hoping that’s the fix to the issue however I could be wrong too!

Yeah, I've never tried that exact thing, just guessing based on what the game did with my brother's character when I moved my old island to my secondary switch (if I even remember correctly what happened). ^^; in any case, would say you're most likely correct.

i know you can lock a tree in a growth stage by planting a fruit tree next to it, but i’m a little unclear. can you just plant a full fruit tree or does it have to be a sapling or the fruit itself? and if you move the fruit tree after would the tree stay locked?

Fruit sapling or fruit. if you plant a fruit, it becomes immediately a fruit sapling. the sapling need to be touching the tree to lock it, removing it, would allow it to grow

On Amazon you can buy the sanrio amiibo cards, and they give you the ability to have the items and villagers
Through unlocking the sanrio villagers you get the items unlocked in nook shopping
You might already know but to use an amiibo card you go to your ABD in the resident services and put the card over the right joystick, I hope this helps a little :)

Depends on what you’re after. If you want tree bugs, then pick all your flowers. If you want flower bugs, you can either chop all your trees or just run around periodically to chase away the ones that do end up spawning

i need help - i have an empty island, it's 7pm, and im trying to catch tarantulas. only one has spawned so far and the island is empty. mole crickets will not stop spawning though - i dig one up and another one spawns. are they stopping the tarantulas from spawning? how do i get these dang crickets to shoo?

You can't prevent mole cricket to spawn and they do take a critter's space.
Be sure you went to the island after 7pm as the spawning critters are locked at the time you entered the island
Also if you want a couple tarantulas this is fine, but if you want money the tarantula spawns were reduced by quite a margin and it's not really worth it.

Sure you'll catch up to 5/6 tarantulas at most for the time you have until 5 am.
You'd get better money diving and selling critters for the same amount of time.

To be friends you need to be friends on switch so exchange friend codes. Once you both accepted the invitation you can see them/they ca' see you if you open to friends.
You need to have visited each other's island to get them as friends on animal crossing

Unfortunately meteor showers do not gurantee celeste

She prioritises heavy showers (the ones Isabelle announces) if you have multiple showers within the week and have a heavy one too. If not it'll be a random day that has shooting stars. There's also been quite a few reports of her not appearing on Sundays when that's her only valid day to spawn (in 2.0.4 at least, not sure for 2.0.5) but I personally had no issues with her spawning on Sundays

You can only adopt from other players from villager 7 onwards. To get to that stage:

Those 3 villagers need to all move in (can be done with time-travel)
You need to have paid your first Nook Miles Loan (the 5000 miles one)
You need to have build Blathers Tent and the first bridge too (you should have done the bridge as part of the 3 plot quest)
Then your RS will upgrade

From then, you need to build a campsite

and have someone visit it. You then have to move them in

then after that you'll be able to buy plots of land from Tom Nook, in which you can go and adopt from other players

Every day, you'll find a glowing spot on the ground. Dig it up and you'll get a bag of 1k bells. Plant a bag of 10k bells into the glowing hole that's left. Once it grows, you can harvest the bells once then it'll turn into a hardwood tree

you can either go to the nook stop (in resident services) and go to the amiibo option, follow the instruction onn screen to get a camper;
or if you unlocked the roost, just go to the yellow phone on the back.
If you have the dlc you also need to unlock the phone through progress but once you decorated enough houses it works just like the other two

Will villagers not appear on mystery islands until a plot is completely vacant? Like I have a village sweeping out their house now, but I used an NMT to start a villager hunt but there wasn’t a villager there.

You MUST have an unsold, empty plot available to invite a villager from another player's island, or to find villagers on mystery islands (and you can only invite one villager from a mystery island per day). A villager in boxes, or a house with the "I moved out" sign is NOT an empty plot.

What is the limit for bridges and inclines? Wiki says 10 bridges and inclines. Is that 10 bridges and 10 inclines, or 10 combined bridges and inclines (like 4 bridges and 6 inclines).

People typically fence off areas they don't want other players going to. Some also use the pipes (https://catalogue.ac/i/13823) to go between the entrance of their island and the area they're having the yard sale, with them completely cut off with fences so thats the only places they can access.
If anyone turns up in a wetsuit, then they may jump off the airport dock and try and access your island by swimming (but its pretty rare and you can always shut the game off if you see someone arrive in a wetsuit)

10 of each. It'll be 8 of each initially, but once you hit 8 of one of them, you'll be able to purchase the "Pro Construction License" from the Nook Stop (under the redeem nook miles section)

If you're aiming to get their photo, anything that has a sell value of over 750 bells is enough - To retain their "ungifted status" most people will gift their villagers some wrapped foreign fruits (2 is enough iirc) - you can check this out though to see what is and isn't "safe" to gift them: https://chibisnorlax.github.io/acnhfaq/villagers/gifting/

As was mentioned earlier its all RNG, there's no way to guarantee she'll spawn

Though if she's stuck in your Move In Queue, she won't appear on mystery islands at all. However there's no way to actually see who's in this queue unless you actually let plots autofill (the MIQ holds up to 4 villagers indefinitely)

So when people void their villagers (they let them move out without anyone adopting), these villagers enter a hidden queue called the Move Out Queue (or the Void as most people call it). When you play with others, villagers in this void are able to move into your Move In Queue and remain there. you can also obtain the chair diy from peppy villagers and the table diy from normal villagers by random chance. you can also trade for it from other people, if you have NSO.
