If you have any villagers in your MIQ (move-in queue) it will be filled the next day. You will have villagers in your MIQ if you have ever visited other islands before, be it friends or people you’ve traded with previously. If you don’t want your plot to be auto filled I suggest trying to find a villager while it’s empty

No, you have to wait until that villager is gone and the plot is empty. The villager will be in boxes one day, and the next the plot will be empty. That’s when you should look for another villager before it auto fills

I have a question about flower breeding

I have had success breeding a ton of hybrids using this pattern but lately I’m not really getting the hybrids I want for example I’ve been trying to make purple tulips and black cosmos for over a week now all I get is more orange flowers or ive gotten black tulips from the orange. I water daily, I have the beautiful island ordinance on…. Any advice for how I can improve my chances of getting these hybrids?

It’s best to try and use seeds since they have the default genomes, it can be a lot trickier trying to breed flowers from islands since the genomes can be randomized. Wdym? Leaving things outside by water in the game doesn't change them. You can only change items by customising them with a DIY table for DIY furniture or with Cyrus once you unlock him

You know how the different villager types have different dialogue? So a lazy is different from a peppy, etc. I have punchy (lazy) who I love and talk to daily. I’m villager hunting and have found Chester (also lazy) I’m not sure I can leave him behind but I equally don’t want to hear the same chatter from them both 😂 they both have the okay hobby too. Does this mean that they definitely WILL have the same dialogue? I know it can differ slightly but I don’t know for sure and with them both having the same hobby it seems likely they will? The best way is to either find tarantula island, or go to a mystery island and try and have only tarantulas spawn. This isn’t the best way to make bells anymore since the spawn rate is very low now, and tarantula island is pretty rare now

@subtle spindle turnip seeds don’t exist in the animal crossing world! the only way you can get turnips is by buying them out of daisy mae, an npc that visits your island every sunday morning. they rot later in the week after you buy them, so you just have to look for turnip prices at nook’s cranny!

awhh, i’m not sure. after a while, your villagers should get a thought bubble overtop of their head. it’s usually your oldest villager or one you don’t have the best relationship with! they’ll ask to leave, and that’s how you’ll be able to open up a plot again.

for sure you can't gift them anything if they are in boxes. to leave a vacation home you need to have stopped it to gift chocolate so that last point wouldn't be an issue. for me the very last moment you could gift the chocolate is the day they asked to leave but not sure if it would work. you can also invite them anytime, place them, do the bare minimum and go back to make a proper house before they leave

Villagers will only show up and autofill if a plot is available (ie. Talking to nook and setting down a plot.) if you have a plot open you can go to mystery islands to find a villager or if you dont do that you can wait for a random villager to fill in

They do move out like any other villager so if you have a couple of amiibo you can complete the quest and make the previous one move out, be in boxes for other people to adopt if that's what you had in mind

If you're the Resident Representative, you should have helped Tom Nook and Blathers to start building the museum by giving them critters and such
