I think if I do data transfer from my lite to the oled. Then use the animal crossing island transfer from lite to oled. Then transfer the data from my og to the oled, that should work. Im just nervous and hoping someone has done something similar

I know if you want to transfer your AC data, you'd have to go into the game on your lite and do the backup, that way when you're in your new switch, you can have that backup data on that. However I only had one nintendo account, not two.

@vital kite Island transfer tool is good. Another way to to this.....If you have the online cloud backup with the Nintendo online subscription, AND you enabled island backup, Nintendo support can help you put your island from your Lite to your OLED. I like that method. I thing their support site has instructions for Restoring island. I would check that out

If you enabled the cloud backup for AC + your other games, then you can contact Nintendo and have them help you restore it. It won't just appear if you log in with your Nintendo account information though.

Giftedness simply refers to villagers that were given items that change their default home interior/wardrobe. Light/heavy indicates if they've been given many gifts vs. very few. It doesn't have any in-game benefits or downsides, some people just prefer ungifted villagers because they might not like what the previous player gave them and it's a bit tedious to undo giftedness.

Are you talking about NookLink? If so, you need to reconnect your new island to your NookLink by pressing the minus button on the title screen of AC. Once you do that, you can go into the NookLink app settings and change the island to your new one.

This is more of a Nintendo switch related question, but ive had my switch for about 4 years now and only recently have pixels started to die out which I’m really devastated about. Has anyone else had this issue?

I haven’t personally, but Nintendo has stated that this is “normal and not a defect” although they will sometimes offer fixes for severe pixel death, not sure how many would qualify as severe though. I would try contacting Nintendo support.

It does, the closest you can get to putting pathing under your house is putting it under the front steps.

I think villagers in general make you stay for awhile before leaving, that just seems to be how the interaction goes. I do recall someone saying they make you play a game before leaving, though I haven't heard much else. It's unlikely to be a bug, though.

A plot not autofilling is normal, it just means your MIQ is empty. You should be able to find villagers on nmt islands though, so I'm not sure why they wouldn't appear. Any chance you could send over a photo of your map?

Sometimes if the empty plot is your 6th, some funky things can happen even if you already invited the mandatory campsite visitor. Otherwise if you were at 7 or more we could rule it down to the plot being sold or you already inviting someone from a mystery island for the day.

When planting a pumpkin start, there's 10% chance it'll grow into a yellow pumpkin plant, but you can also bury a yellow pumpkin to 100% grow a yellow pumpkin plant

• Villagers have the option to invite you to visit their house when you are at a high enough friendship level. During this visit, they'll eventually propose you to buy one of their displayed items. Doing so will remove the item from their house.
• Owners of the Happy Home Paradise also have the option to directly customize villagers' houses after completion of the main part of the DLC. This also unlocks the option to reset the houses to their default layout via Isabelle.

so, i have two different switches and one physical copy of the game. i also have the DLC on switch 1. this switch houses my main island i’ve been playing since launch and is my primary island. i later on bought a switch lite and use the same game card to play. i connected my nintendo account to this switch, too, but never set up the back up save data because i didn’t know if it would affect/delete my other island. i’m now trying to use the DLC on my second switch and it says it’s downloaded but i can’t access it. does anyone know what i can do WITHOUT affecting my first island at all?

I can’t offer much else, but the fact that the house isn’t there means that even if you had the requirements, none of the content would be available since that house is the indicator that you have the DLC

Yes it does. The map order is sorted chronologically, which is why it isn't always the most reliable in terms of determining who the newest villager to your island is.

auto-harvest, no there isn't. You can unlock storage sheds to access your house storage from outside after you progress enough though

And regarding this issue: ACNH can unfortunately be a bit of a grinding game sometimes yes :/
When you're new, the restraints caused by limited DIYs, limited bells, limited catalog can be annoying, but after some time you'll have unlocked a few things clothes and furniture, earned a few bells, amassed a few ressources and the possibilities widen. Although this is still a sandbox-type game: there are some basic objectives like completing your critterpedia, museum, etc, but the game never forces you to do any of these things. If you don't feel like doing the multiple "daily tasks" the game suggests you to do, that's fine, you can do them tomorrow, or the next day, etc.
Nintendo really promoted the game as a slow-paced one, so it's fine if you're not unlocking things fast as long as you do what you want to do first and foremost, and not just what you feel like you need to because there are rewards for it x)

When you have some roommates you would pick the one you like the house of more and go speak to them about getting a roommate and then go speak to the one you want to move. The second ones house will disappear and no longer be available for you to visit.

If you have the DLC you can redesign his interior after 30 vacation homes
