For those three, you could have hunted on mystery islands before completing them...
Now, you'll have to wait after the first camper moves in, you'll be able to buy empty plots from Tom Nook and you'll be able to invite after they are placed, and while they are still empty

empty plots will autofill after about ~1 day generally speaking. so once you get to that stage, only place one at a time and go searching for villagers in between.

also only one villager can be in boxes at a time, so the next 2 will arrive over the next two in-game days

Giftedness just means they've been given items that alter their default home interior and/or wardrobe. People tend to dislike heavily gifted villagers because gifts are a bit tedious to get rid of, especially if you don't have the DLC (Happy Home Paradise). You cannot discern giftedness aside from literally looking at the villager and seeing if they have many/few items that aren't in their default belongings.

It's just another thing to do/collect in a game that'd all about collecting and learning things. You can use the food items as decoration, sell them, or eat them (as they give more food power per cooked item than, say, a single fruit)

Nope, backwards tt doesn't reverse progress. (it will remove the watered effect on flowers tho so be sure to re-water your flowers if you go backwards.)

Hi!!! This is long winded so I hope someone can help me....
I currently have two switches, an OG and a Lite. I've ordered an OLED to collect tomorrow with intentions to sell my OG switch.
I have logged into each switch with different nintendo accounts. So each switch has a unique island with a unique nintendo account. My lite is currently, purely AC. What I'd like to do, ideally, is have all my data from my OG switch (I have pokemon games with living dexes and a 100% BOTW which I'd like to keep), but I don't want my animal crossing save from my og switch on my oled, I want the save from the lite on my oled. I know there's the island transfer too thingy, but I've never used it before and I'm a little scared. Does anyone know the best way tk go about achieving this?
