Hi! I got one of my dream villagers on the campsite (Judy <3) and got her to agree to move in! She picked a villager I'd be fine with moving out, However I'm currently in the process of trying to get someone else to move out. If I could get her to replace that Villager it'd be perfect! Problem is she already picked someone else and I haven't saved since opening the game on a new day. If I force-quit the game now and restart immediately without changing anything, will she still be on my campsite and can I make her choose someone else?

The game will save the choice during the part of the conversation where the choice is presented to you if you made the choice, which is why you have to close the game before saying yes or no

and I don’t think it’s the same as a typical autosave

Villager hunting refers to looking for villagers on mystery islands that you get to via Nook Miles Tickets . People will sometimes hunt for a long time or use many NMT because they're looking for a specific villager, others just hunt until they find someone they end up liking.

NMT are the main currency in trading, that's how most people get their tickets. Otherwise it's just grinding achievements and Nook Miles+ tasks.

You can stunt it at a nursery stage by doing this, but if you want to stunt it away from cliffs/buildings then you need to use a fruit sapling to lock it. Furniture won't work at all for stunting.

Hello, I have a question about my animal crossing data.

My nintendo switch is having issues, especially when playing other games (zelda, mariokart) where it freezes randomly (error code 2162-0002).

As it is quite complicated for me to send my switch for reparation, I want to try the formatting option first, to see if it magically solves the issue.

When I browsed through my games and saves, I noticed that AC:NH is not getting normal cloud saves. I did activate the online backup through the game, but read that it was a hussle to get back, and most of the time I would have to contact nintendo support.

Will the "formatting" remove my AC:NH data? If so, how hard am I gonna struggle to get it back?

You just pick a dodo code and stick to that island, they have several codes because they have several islands to go to. Those kinds of islands are not really allowed in this server though, so you can’t really ask for any. On the other hand, people sometimes post legitimate treasure islands (non-hacked) in #mysterybags-and-yardsales so you can always look in that channel to see if anyone is hosting one. You just can’t make a post asking for one

No, once a plot is claimed, you have to let the villager move in... But as windigo said, amiibo campers can replace a villager of your choosing, if your island already has 10 animal villagers
