• Villagers have the option to invite you to visit their house when you are at a high enough friendship level. During this visit, they'll eventually propose you to buy one of their displayed items. Doing so will remove the item from their house.
• Owners of the Happy Home Paradise also have the option to directly customize villagers' houses after completion of the main part of the DLC. This also unlocks the option to reset the houses to their default layout via Isabelle.

I’m in a bit of a predicament with Stitches. He came from a friend who moved him in using his proper amiibo card, and then moved him out normally, and someone went to go get him. Now, months later, Stitches moved into my plot. I don’t particularly like Stitches so I figured I’d try to move him out… but I have tried absolutely everything and he has not considered moving out once. Is this even a thing that happens? Is it a “glitched” villager? I thought Stitches was taken by someone else, so he had no shot at being randomly moved in.

Can villagers who were taken by another player move into another player’s regardless, in their island “queue”? And since Stitches is an amiibo villager… could this mean he’s now glitched to not leave my island?

Context: he is no longer my recently moved in villager. I’ve had no issues in the past with recently moved in villagers either way… so it’s not that

No, but even if that were the case I’ve still had recently moved in villagers ask to leave

I’ve talked to him, I haven’t given him any gifts because when Rosie was my last to move in she left rather quickly, without the need for gifts

Then it’s just a matter of chance. It’d be easier to time travel and wait for the bubble then exit and tt to the next day

It could simply be that your friend voided him prior to the Amiibo adoption, or someone else voided him and you're mistaking him to be your friend's copy of Stitches. Either way, as long as you're doing the move-out method in .t moveout he should ask to move eventually as he is not your newest villager, it can just take some time. You can also alternatively get a campsite visitor to kick him out.

And for reference, newest villagers cannot ask to move out via thought bubble.

You need to initiate the 3-plots quest in order for them to move in. Keep doing what Tom Nook tells you to do, and eventually he'll give you 3 plots to place and furnish. The villager(s) you recruited will move into those.

I personally haven't ever heard of that being a thing, I truly think you're just having really bad RNG. I've seen someone take upwards of 12 hours to move out a target villager doing everything correctly, so just keep going

Yes I think they will if they put the music player up. There should be discussion around this in #datamined-info or #datamine-chat but that is how it used to work. Some villagers had default volume set to 0 and replacing or gifting them a music player with volume set to higher used to make them play their song.

You need to have an empty plot to adopt, so the day after they are in boxes. Amiibos can kick anyone as long as you have 10 villagers and you introduced yourself. No need to wait for an empty plot. Amiibos takes 3 days at least to invite if you complete the quest each time

I’ve only tried using local play. My first switch I had two profiles, one was an alternate for more storage player, and I tried to used my main profile and it said I couldn’t use play on two consoles (again I have one physical and one digital copy so I don’t know why), and then I tried my alt account and got this

I encountered something similar when moving my save data from one Switch to the other. If you have a mobile device, set up a hotspot and connect one Switch to the mobile device and leave the other on your regular wifi network. Then try doing local play.

It sounds weird but doing that fixed the communication error i was getting (the transfer process uses "local play" too, for reference)

Some are gyroids so start collecting and bury gyroid fragments I’m sure you’ll get the ones pictured

early on, you get a few more as the story/island-construction progresses. after the campsite is built (different from the tent you live in) and you get a villager from there, you can buy house spots from Tom and use nook miles tickets to find new villagers on islands

I believe so, considering you can’t change who is island representative. Deleting them would delete the island iirc.

I don’t think anyone has experimented this yet, but it’s unlikely your island will stay without the island rep. And even if it did, you wouldn’t be able to do much as another resident on the island

• You obtain the Golden Watering Can DIY once you achieve your first 5-star rating. Also, lilies-of-the-valley can spawn as long as your island keeps its 5-star rating!

• The basic idea is to fill your island with plants and furniture, as Isabelle usually suggests. So if she says to add flowers, do it - or at least, wait for them to be fully bloomed (to get the max points from them) ; Same thing if she hints at adding furniture.

Yes really the only thing that time traveling does that could be considered negative is grows weeds, grows flowers, and rots turnips(if you have them) otherwise it’s all fine. You may just need to do some cleaning as you go or wait until you’re done and then clean up the flowers and weeds

Hey guys, one of my poor friends accidentally popped a present balloon such that it fell on a fourth-level cliff. Meaning she:

1. Can’t pick it up from the base of the cliff with Y
2. Can’t climb up to get it
3. Can’t terraform the cliff because there’s something on it!
