They have to be wearing the item, and for custom designs, if they are still displayed at Able's, they can still re-wear those... If the design is from someone else, you can report it to revert it to default, otherwise, ask a friend to report them for you

When someone other than the design's creator reports it, it is reverted to the default one, that villagers do not wear... From here on, just report the villagers to Isabelle if you spot them wearing designs, they shouldn't re-use designs if none are displayed at Able's

Yup ACNH isn't like other games. If you do a google search you can find an in depth guide online in regards to how to island transfer properly 🙂 I presumed you have the switch v 2 or switch OLED? the island transfer tool will allow you to transfer it smoothly rather than the old method

I'm trying to transfer my island to a new Switch. I transferred all of my user accounts to the new Switch, downloaded the transfer tool on both, but when I try to open the transfer tool on the old system, it says the account doesn't have access to run it (the temp account that gets created once you've removed all of the other accounts). Nintendo's site says I need to re-link my Nintendo account on the old system, so I did that, but now it won't let me open the Island Transfer Tool with the same account on both systems at the same time. What the heck am I don't wrong here?

I am not for sure if this is a question for this but I lost everything on my game somehow cause my switch crapped out on me and my husband hard reset everything to try and fix it.

It might depend on what you’re trying to name it, it seems like Nintendo put some filters on certain things that weren’t there before, like villager nicknames, catchphrases, etc. they might have done the same with island names. It also may not be letting you use the same name if it’s under the same profile, but I’m not exactly sure if that is a thing or not. Not sure why it wouldn’t let you use the same name otherwise

Then you pay to open the shops from there

It might simply be that the seats are on half tiles due to the platform being curved, making the center tile considered "occupied" in terms of planting things.

They nerfed the tarantula/scorpions spawn rate. They are not effective anymore for farming bells. If you just want some for the museum or models. You have to wait for a while for one to spawn

Where did you read that? Anything the villager is gifted could be displayed in their house if it’s furniture, or if it’s clothing they will display in their house it if it’s not their “style” since they will not wear it. You can gift him another 24 or so clothing items to filter that sweater out. Make sure it’s something that is his style if you don’t want him to display it in his house. If you have the dlc, you could also just design his house for him iirc. Hope this helps

From my experience you have to have them unlocked on your island for them to be in hhp so if you’re missing the ones you mentioned on your home island that could be why. Just getting taught about them in the school doesn’t unlock them all in hhp.

You can take group pictures of villagers/npcs and you can unlock multiple posters that way. If it’s your first time, then you should get a call from either Harv or Tom Nook (I don’t remember which one) saying that you can order posters. Otherwise they should unlock and be ready to order as soon as you take the picture and return to your island.

2 random (non fruit) trees a day will have furniture item in them. (Can't remember the exact parameters for which items will be in there). Balloons will also sometimes contain furniture (or materials to craft DIY furniture) if you pop them and open the present. Or you can trade with other players

Villagers are to invite to live on your island , obtain their posters , invite them to the roost, taking them cool photos or making movies at harvs island and making them a house in happy home paradise , with special npc cards you can do the same except invite them to live on your island and when you make their homes in happy home paradise next day you get their framed photo mailed

1: You can also use them to invite characters to Photopia, unlock their posters, and invite them to do their requests on the HHP DLC if you have it
2: Yeah cards are random, except for the Sanrio special series which contains all 6 cards of the series (though make sure to check before buying, just in case).
Packs contain either 3 or 6 cards, depending on the country the pack is from.
3: I have no idea, sorry lol, but it probably depends on the series, especially the Sanrio one which is a collab one and is guaranteed to contain all 6 cards of the series so I would guess it goes for more than the others
4: See the reply above lol, there are also other fan-sites for amiibo card collection tracking, but I don't think Nintendo makes actual lists

Kappn might also give you a chance to go to a star fragment island, where you can wish on stars and mining rocks will give you star fragments
