not really, they're just random. nook miles islands have buried fossils, though it's not worth using nook tickets just for that. the fossil museum usually fills up pretty quickly but you might need to trade for the last few if you don't want to wait

If you only got the dlc through the NSO expansion then you have to keep that subscription to play if you just buy the dlc outright and not with the expansion you can keep playing. Hope that clarifies

I have even been open to letting SHINO move bc I have her card and can always let someone good take her spot and then load her back in to boot chabwick out that way. But SHE wont move EITHER.

it's possible you told him not to move at some point, and that was the last time you talked to a villager about moving. if that's the case, he won't ask, so try telling someone else "no" and (save, and then) TT some more. if you really went day-by-day for 2 game years, something must be blocking it. it could also be because you've never talked to him before, so that's also worth a try

Someone’s internet (either yours or the hosts) had an issue occur (speed too slow, lost connection, etc) and you got disconnected from the island. You will just need to try to visit them again, but if it keeps kicking you then check your internet connection

I think there's generally big misunderstandings about the move-out method. There's no way that it doesn't work, because all it's doing is speeding up a naturally-occurring in-game process. Even if you didn't TT, the mechanics noted in the move out method would happen in real-time. It does nothing to manipulate your chances of getting a villager to move out -- it has and always will be almost purely determined by rng.

Villagers summoned in the campsite can eventually be invited to live on your island after a few days
Characters spawned at Photopia have their poster unlocked for order from Nook Shopping
Characters summoned at Paradise Planning can have their vacation house made, and if that was a special NPC, you'll get their photo in the mail the next day
