Hey guys, I’ve got a few questions about the new dlc and other questions about the game in general. My siblings and I had purchased a switch about a year ago and didn’t realize that we’d all be sharing an island and that only one of us had the privileges of being Mayer. My sister is a flight attendant and I’m thinking I’ll probably get her a switch lite for Christmas. I was wondering if she were to have a lite if she would still be on our island or if it would make a new island, and also if it were to make a new island if there is a way to transfer the Mayer title to someone else on the switch at the house or if we would also have to restart. My other question is over the new dlc, we’re wondering if the new dlc is only available to the Mayer of the main island of if all player residents are able to go to the new area.

1. She would start a new island on the new switch unless she transfers it, but then you won't be able to access the island on the old switch. AFAIK you can't change who the Mayor is.

2. All players should have access to the DLC

1. if she gets a lite, she will have a separate island on that switch. every switch = one island. 2. transferring mayor title... far as i know that's not possible. 3. DLC: I'm fairly sure every player on the switch that has the DLC will have access to it.

It won't do anything bad to your save, it will be backed up in case at some point your switch gets damaged and you can restore it

I know you have to invite them 3 times and make the items they request, and I'm on day 2 of inviting him to the campsite when a new villager already took the plot. Do I have to wait for the unwanted villager who stole the plot to settle and move in before I invite Bam?

No, you can always invite a camper (random or amiibo) if you have all 10 of your plots occupied: the random camper will choose someone random to replace, while the amiibo camper will give you the choice of who to replace

I had a problem inviting villagers via amiibo campsite.
The thing is, I had Sasha on my campsite and the day I could finally invite him to my island, happened to be the day one of my villagers was in boxes. I got someone to take the villager and when I invited Sasha, he said he would be moving to the plot that belonged to the villager that moved away.
The next day, the plot was open, but it didn't appear as a sold slot. Next day, another villager who isn't Sasha moves. I kicked out another villager, and now Flurry is moving.
When I scan Sasha's amiibo, it says he's moving to my island and can't talk now. I found some people saying that the amiibo answering machine is just saying they're indeed moving, and that they are the next villager in the list to "naturally" move to your island. However, already had 2 villagers move in naturally and no sign of Sasha. Any thoughts?

If I don't see a bubble with the first 14 days of day by day, start over.

Why does my Shino never wear gifts I have given her? She'll wear it the first time I gift it but the next day she'll be in her default outfit again.

Before I reset my second island, I made sure to save the pro designs my second island representative made by saving them on my first island's pro design. I never uploaded these designs on-line.

I tried to place the designs at my Ables, but they only show the pro designs my first island made. I tried placing mannequins with the designs on the ground, but my second island's island representative can't do anything with them.

So, does this mean there's no way for me to get my second island's representative to save the pro designs?
