it's normal, when you go to your friend's island, the time will align to that island's time and i believe that when you leave the island it automatically saves and that will make the time change so that's why your clock switched when you went back

There are many gyroids that can be collected. They are little clay figures that make sounds in rhythm to music. You can get them in the ground after it rains or if you bury and water a gyroid fragment.

After burying and watering a fragment, if you dig it up the next day it will be a gyroid!
