So one of my friends said that recently, one of my villagers moved into her town. The villager in question is Wolfgang. Wolfgang said that he was hopping in from "my town name". So I checked to see if Wolfgang moved, but he never even moved away in my town. Did a dupe glitch occur where one of my villagers seemed to have moved into another town without being in boxes?

Also the void can hold 10 villagers, and villagers that get transferred from your MOQ (the void) to someone else's MIQ isn't always the one that's the most recent in there

Yeah, afaik the only thing that removes them from the void would be getting transferred to someone else's island (although tbf we don't know too much about either queue). And no problem!

Have you tried talking to the villagers that are cooking in their houses btw? In the past you were able to trade them a fish for a random ingredient, you may be able to do that to obtain flour.

The four villagers who are in your MIQ can't appear on mystery islands iirc, but that has to do with who gets transferred in from visiting players' MOQ rather than your own MOQ

But you could hypothetically move out Sherb, then go on a mystery tour and find Sherb and invite him to take the spot of his own plot, it's happened to tons of people lol

MOQ: Move-Out Queue, also usually called "the void", where villagers who move out but are not adopted go to live. Holds up to 10 villagers.
MIQ: Move-In Queue, holds 4 villagers, is the place where villagers that autofill your empty plots wait. These villagers come from the MOQs of players that you've played online with.

well, technically you could brute force your MIQ it by 1) visiting mystery islands until you've seen all but 4 villagers who you can assume are in your MIQ or 2) building vacation homes for all the villagers on the beach in HHP until you've done all but 4 villagers who would also be the ones in your MIQ.

You can't see or tell who's in your MOQ without third-party tools though, there's no way to brute force it

The "shiny" cards are special NPCs such as Tom Nook or Isabelle, 1 is in every pack. In New Horizons they can be scanned into Photopia to take photos with them, The Roost to have coffee with them, and if you own the DLC you can scan them in there to build their vacation house. Afaik scanning them in anywhere will unlock their respective poster too

Im curious how they did this. I know this is a custom design with Glow in the Dark stickers, but it seems like they managed to put it on top of the partition wall? Not necessarily. Each villager has a set of furniture that they come with, but the furniture can overlap. So a villager might give you furniture that you've already unlocked from another one

But basically yeah you get furniture by doing more houses. Try doing ones with themes that are different to ones you've done before

@pliant jewel if you're doing the turkey day quests, you could try asking your neighbors that are planning to cook. they'll ask if you wanna trade some ingredients. If you haven't got your ingredient, try exiting then reentering the game to re roll them

You MUST have an unsold, empty plot available to invite a villager from another player's island, or to find villagers on mystery islands (and you can only invite one villager from a mystery island per day). A villager in boxes, or a house with the "I moved out" sign is NOT an empty plot.

There isn't, hedges are a type of fence which is why you can store them and "plant" a whole bunch of them, but shrubs are closer to vegetables in that they cannot breed/spread and you must buy starts if you want more sadly
