How exactly could you get Tasha as your first client? Wouldn't it only be possible to get Blaire and prior, since you can't have more than 10 villagers on your island at once...?

If you go backward at all, they'll reset

so if you time travel forward a day itll just give you the next turnip price

Re: Harv's island... My experience is that whenever one of the co-op characters are on the island they abandon their Harv shop for the day.

Is every character with an amiibo card available to become vacation clients? Are all of them available to invite to the roost? Any exceptions?

I know there are ways to stunt tree growth and I've been trying since the update but I find that it doesn't work anymore? I can plant tree saplings, fruits or place smaller trees right next to objects. I've tried everything but they keep growing. On the other hand I have one tree that's still a nursery whilst I have nothing placed or planted next to it. Does anyone else experience this? Has something been fixed in the 2.0 version of the game? I'm confused.

im having a couple of issues with the update and i haven’t seen much about these online or the requirements for them so i figured i’d ask here!!

so for background info, i restarted my island before the update was announced, but only started playing on it pre-update but post-announcement in order to grind bells, nook miles, and upgrade my island as much as possible. i have resident services (got it the day of the update), nooks cranny (non upgraded), abel sisters, campsite and moved in my first campsite villager, and the DLC is working fine for me. i dont have 3 stars yet. I do time travel, but at max its 2 days ahead, and I always try to backtrack and replay days to keep myself on irl time.

My issues are:
-Isabell not announcing ordinances
-Isabell not announcing NPCs on the island for that day
-No cooking recipes anywhere

Is there a way to get villagers more efficiently? I have 5 on my island already and I have used 8 Nook Miles tickets so far and no spawn, I only have 40 tickets left and don't want to burn through them all immediately

You're in the case depicted here. As for saplings be sure they are fruit saplings, my trees are still locked

You MUST have an unsold, empty plot available to invite a villager from another player's island, or to find villagers on mystery islands (and you can only invite one villager from a mystery island per day). A villager in boxes, or a house with the "I moved out" sign is NOT an empty plot.

That's the thing. I know the tricks but the tricks don't work anymore. At least they don't in my game. Trees keep growing regardless of any obstacles.

If you are able to get a villager they will spawn with 1 nmt. If you go on a tour and they do not spawn, they will never spawn.
