Sorry this may be a bit long. Any help appreciated. I had an island I played since launch but a few months ago decided to restart. The old island was using the backup service with Nintendo Online. When I restarted, I never enabled island backup on the new island. I also noticed my Nintendo Online app on my phone is still connected to my old island as well. I changed my mind and now want my old island back. I bought a new Switch in hopes of using that to re-enable the backup data. But the Backup and Restore feature said I don’t have any backup data saved. Any other ideas on how I can get my old island back?

If you get the subscription you only have access to the new area for as long as you have it. You keep customization options like counters and walls tho

@golden plank If you go the subscription way, every account that wants to use the DLC will have to have the Online Expansion Pack (or be in a family group with the Expansion). If you buy the DLC, your account can use it on any Switch connected to the internet and every other user on your primary Switch can also use it.
