yep - they will ask you for candy, and give you spooky items/DIYs/pumpkins in return, as well as lollipops - you can give jack candy for average spooky stuff and then lollipops for his better prizes which are 1. spooky carriage, 2. spooky carriage DIY, 3. spooky wand DIY, and 4. jack's face and robes - you can then wear the full jack outfit to get candy back off of villagers, and if you run out you can also go to your villagers who are in their homes and they'll give you some with intervals in between each visit

You can get more from villagers the night of, even if you don't have enough. Just have to account for having enough to get 3 lollipops for all rewards you can get from Jack.

it’s just horrible rng. i literally spent 3 hours and got one thought bubble and eventually gave up. you just have to keep trying

I recommend a 30 day initial jump, it maxes out your bad-luck bonus and thus increases your chance of seeing move-out bubbles. Make sure you stay around 12-1 PM, spend about 5 minutes looking for bubbles, and I assume this was already the case but you need to have 6 or more villagers for the method to work.
Other tips: say "no" to a non-target villager, and keep a second non-target villagers' house relocation kit in your pocket. It reduces the pool of villagers who can get the thought bubble

also, if you have a (nonamiibo) campsite villager that asks for one villager to move out but you DONT want that villager to move out, close the game while still on the screen where the camper asks to move out that villager (before the autosave kicks in)

then reopen and get them to ask to move in again!

you have to be careful with this though because if it's autosaved the villager they ask to move out is locked to that villager only (meaning they will only ask for that villager to move out no matter how hard ya try)

I learned this the hard way with Rosie wanting to move out Sherb..

You can only grab one villager per day from Miles island but there is no limit to villagers from other people, as long as there is an open plot for them.

I am not sure if villagers show up on Miles islands if you have already picked one from another person. So beware of that. Hopefully someone else has an answer.

If a villager is moving out, when can I go to someones island and ask a villager to move in? Would I do it while the villager is in boxes or is there a day after where the villagers plot is empty? I haven't played this game in a while and just wanted to make sure.

for turnips ? just means they go up and down, but won't ever be very very low or very high, one morning it can be low, afternoon high, the next morning high and afternoon low, it's what fluctuating is

Does anyone know if villagers mention leaving your island while indoors? I know villagers tend to have a thought bubble while roaming the island and that can potentially hold a "move out" initiation but does it ever happen indoors?

Additionally, does anyone know if there's a list of the different types of conversations? Because I was talking to my Raymond (in his house) to get the conversation points and I was just kinda spamming the A button not really paying attention and then he mentioned island hopping so I'm super worried I wasn't focused enough to see if he was asking to leave 😭
