Having 100 weeds or less will give a 30 point bonus. Every 30 weeds after that will reduce the bonus by one point, the bonus being fully removed with 1,000 weeds or more.
so you basically just don't get "bonus" points

They are nfc tags (that you can buy online in bulk) that have been encrypted with amiibo data manually, and Nintendo does not endorse that, and it wouldn't be the game's fault if they do not work properly

If you bring back the same copy of the villager they will remember you. For example, I got my partner's Ruby from the void and she greeted him as her ex-neighbour when they met, he can also let her move back and would have special dialogue for that when she's in boxes and so on. If he was to get a Ruby from a mystery island, amiibo or another player, they would be a separate copy of her. His Ruby would still be on my island.

Actually, you don't even have to talk to him. As soon as you turn in the six items it gets sold (you have to go inside a building to get the sold sign, but as that happens when you go to the airport, you're out of luck there). You can place the plots and even turn some items in, but you have no chance of filling a plot up yourself if you turn in all six items.

Just the ladder. If you leave the vaulting pole there is one island where you would not be able to reach a villager (if that's the reason to go) without crafting a new one.

There might actually be some islands that are taken out of the pool if you leave the pole, but one where you need it is not.

This island has no way of reaching the top right without a pole or ladder, but still has a high chance of spawning if you leave the pole at home.

People often think it will still be accessible but they are thinking of this one

A lot of people simply don't play that way. Done with fossils and stamps and stuff, or simply no interest in that part of the game. Others have areas that might look full/cluttered but still "work". Specific spots left open for fossils to spawn and so on.
