she can use her account on the new switch to get the game digitally and tranfer it with the transfer too to the new switch. Once the transfer is done it should be possible to reset the data on the old one. You can also share one digital copy over two switches but I'm not that sure on how it works, you do need an internet connection

You can check whether the water counts as a pond or a river by casting into it. A river will carry your bobber down with the current.

Unfortunately, the entire row "just in front" of buildings is obstructed. The campsite does that too with the box on the left side. You'll need to have the path go 1 tile south to go both ways and have a smaller path leading up to the door

Basically, every time 5 AM rolls around there is a random chance of a camper. You can't get one within 1 or 2 mornings of the last one, and this chance maxes out at I think 20% after like a week? So going back to the same date won't work, you have to get 5 AM to pass 2+ times and then there is a low low chance of a camper every time you pass 5 AM

• Light meteor showers: Only a handful of 5-star groups shoot each hour, if said hour has a clear sky. These average between 5-10 per month.
• Note that weather patterns use a seed and are set in stone for your island, including when the shooting stars will appear, to the second. You can use Ninji's MeteoNook app (https://wuffs.org/acnh/weather/) to help determine your seed and get your weather and shooting stars forecast for your island.

so how exactly do the trees change pink during spring? is it only the plain wood trees, or can fruit trees change as well. also, i thought i heard about a way to make sure that specific trees don't have furniture/wasps in them so you can use them in inaccessible areas.

Only regular hardwood trees have their leaves become pink during cherry blossom season, and they revert back to green when out of cherry blossom season

As for drops from trees, as long as you don't shake a tree containing something, whatever is that something will stay in it and the game won't respawn it in other trees

You can't "store" stuff in trees, the game generates items (up to 2 furniture items, 5 wasp nests and 15 coins, in that order) in empty trees, just find which trees hold what and as long as you don't shake them, they'll keep whatever they had and the game won't spawn more
For example, I have 22 trees, the 15 coin ones and the 5 wasps ones are around my villagers houses, and the last two, containing furniture, are next to my house, since I only shake those two each day, the game can only respawn them with furniture (since the wasp nests and coins are already present in the other trees)
Also, all trees can drop an infinite number of branches

there’s no indication in game that you are below 100, but just go around your island each day and pull up every weed you can. it’ll usually be enough to stay below 100

she is there from 5 AM to 12 PM sundays. if you are on the right time and date, you may have missed her

make sure you have nook’s cranny built
