He usually asks that when he visits on Saturday before your birthday. If that's what you wanna know. I'm not sure if that's the friend that you meant

Cataloging is whenever you pick up an item, it will show up in your Nook's Shopping in Resident Services (or on your NookPhone if you unlocked the app). It will let you order 5 items per day in your catalog. Certain items cannot be catalogued, such as diys, different color variants of Nook Miles furniture, most event items such as the Wedding or Turkey Day items, or any items from the Fishing Tourneys or Bug Offs. Any other furniture or clothing can be catalogued as far as I know

you have to have an open plot ready for a villager to move into, and you also can only invite one villager a day. you can only have 10 villagers in total on your island. those are some limitations, but otherwise I'm not sure why they didn't move. they take a day to move in, so they may have talked to tom nook but you might just need to wait a day, if you haven't already

Ungifted villagers tend to be higher value, completely default villagers—they wear only default outfits and have an untouched house, as if they were found from an NMT island.

Make sure she's submitted the interior furniture as well as placed the external furniture. The external furniture might be too far away, so make sure it's pretty close to the plots.

Most people tend to like a resident service far away from their airport, but the best place yo ask for advice in this regard would be #island-designs

some objective advice to add on to Tasha's comment, you cannot move your resident services (leaf icon), your northern "secret" beach, the airport (gray rocks on the south shore), or the two river mouths (where the rivers empty into the ocean). knowing that might help pick a layout ^^

Also when it comes to watering does watering seeds count for crossbreeding or only full grown flowers?

It can help if you water every day. When you water, a counter goes up by 1 if the flower does not reproduce. When this counter exceeds 2, (or 3? i dont remember) each addition to the counter then adds 5% to the chance of reproduction to the flower, capping at some point that I also don’t remember. So yes, it can help, since sprouts are unable to reproduce
