Quick question, just want to make sure I'm doing this right: I'm trying to put a villager in boxes so I can dreamie hunt, and am following the instructions to a T I believe(Skipped 1 month, skipping only 1 day at a time after, talking only to the target I want in boxes). I've been told this method should take about 10 minutes, however it's been taking me several hours each day and I still haven't gotten the bubble on him. Is there anything I'm doing wrong, any tips, or is this just plain bad luck?

Edit: I do know other methods can take hours ofc, it's just this specific method I've been told is supposed to work quickly.

I believe you can "pick" villagers after you put the plot down BUT JUST before completing each furniture per plot.
You are stuck with them for now, but you can kick villagers out when you have the Resident Service updated, campsite built, and the camp visitor moved in. @silk knot

Is there a penalty for forwarding the time?

Not at all, other than some of your weeds growing. There's no harm in Time Travelling, except when you have turnips.

Turnips are one way of earning bells fast, usually utilized by buying them on a low price, and selling them on a high one (with the help of Online).
When you are time travelling and you have turnips, they will expire when you go back in time. They will also expire when you go past Saturday of the same week.
Oh but if you don't have turnips just yet, then worry about that later.

how do i get 3 stars on my island

• The basic idea is to fill your island with plants and furniture, as Isabelle usually suggests. So if she says to add flowers, do it - or at least, wait for them to be fully bloomed (to get the max points from them) ; Same thing if she hints at adding furniture.

It took me 5 minutes to count all trees. I have 183 trees

then you most like don't have more than 220, which won't cap you at 4 stars

im getting crazy that i never get to a 4 stars rating! cuz it says it to many things on ground but all things is like tree branches

if isabelles says so, then there is something, maybe fruits behind trees, or diys or forgotten things behing liffs, picked flowers etc

if she says you have clutter, she detects clutter so it's there

but clutter only caps you at 4 stars
