My switch is failing to read my SD card. Animal Crossing was updating. It finished downloading the update. Then as it starts to install it, i get an error saying my SD card was removed when it wasn't. System restarts and now won't read the SD card at all. Console recognizes it when i insert it as it prompts me to restart the system. Once restarted however, still says no SD card is inserted. It's a quality Sandisk 64 GB SD.

When does my MIQ(move in queue) get filled? I don't want an auto fill from another island(I've been trading a lot online with different people so I can't control this I guess) , so is there a way that I can still go villager hunting once my villager leaves and there's an empty plot?

The MIQ is automatically filled whenever you visit someone online (or someone visits you) and that someone has a villager waiting in their MOQ
And yes, you can go villager hunt, as the plot should stay empty at least one day, even if you have villagers waiting in your MIQ

1. how does hanging clothes up on another island work? do you need to set someone as a best friend, and does it prevent people from overwriting your designs?
2. is there a channel for requesting people to hang up custom clothes on your island in able sisters?

I believe so. Item colors for the most part except for the clothing store, are usually linked to the color of your airport, though I'm not 100% sure about Gullivaaar items.

(UPDATE: Turns out they are not! You could wait for Gullivaaar to come to your island at least once every 2 weeks and try to get all of the different items and color variations that they come in. Thanks to Mishoo for checking in on this one!)

If you are going to a mystery island, those should be fine (you could leave the slingshot)

If you mean to another player's islands, remember you can't use a shovel or an axe unless you are best friends
