i've heard going on a mystery island tour with a nook miles ticket will help with finding water eggs quicker, because i think the spawns are faster. however, sky eggs won't spawn on those tours so you'll have to grind those out on your own island. there's a way to force balloons to a certain area of the map using tall objects, like rock climbing walls or jail bars along the beach is what i see most players doing

Time traveling does not reverse / rewind progress. You still keep all the progress, items, etc. that you've completed / acquired even if you time travel backwards.

You must be the first player to buy from Leif 3 separate times—the buy counter can only increase once per day and only for the first player that buys from him.

A second player would have to buy first 3 other times, then talk to him again. Buying on other islands adds to the counter as long as nobody on that island bought anything from him yet that day. However, you can only receive the DIY on your island.

This is long but i feel it’s necessary. (Btw I’ve never used an amiibo before, I looked up a tutorial) Before I invited Etoile to my campsite for the third time to finally get her to come to my island, one of my villagers wanted to move out. I figured I would give her away and leave a spot open for Etoile. I time traveled a day forward and gave my villager away. Their house, which was still there, said she had moved out. I proceeded to invite Etoile for the third time and she agreed to move to my island. I forwarded a day and the plot was empty but there was no “sold” signed and I was confused.

I went back to invite Etoile again to see if it would do something and there was a message from her that said something like “I am unavailable because I’m about to move.” I thought, “okay she’ll move into tomorrow I guess” and forwarded another day. I saw the plot was sold but it said Whitney would be moving in! Very confused, I went back to invite Etoile again but it just said the same message that she was “unavailable due to moving.” I repeated the process of time traveling and trying to invite her but it is the same result over and over again. I really don’t understand what I did wrong or how to fix it. Did anyone else have this problem? Please help!!

That's odd. I do a lot of amiibo move ins/outs and i've never had that happen.
There's a possibility they are in your move in queue but i can't promise that. A way to test it for definite is to train and gain another empty plot and see if she fills it the next day

FAQ: Fruits

• What is my native fruit? - This is the fruit that will be on your trees when you first start the game. Your native fruit can also be bought from Nooks Cranny.

• What is my "sister fruit"? - This is the fruit that you find on a mystery island called "rare fruit island". This fruit can be sold for more than the native fruit at Nooks Cranny.

• What fruit does my Mom give? - Your mom will mail you a fruit. This can either be a new fruit that you have not obtained yet or a random one.

• How do I get the rest of the fruits? - You will only be able to obtain 2-3 fruits by yourself. To get the rest of the fruits you need to trade with other people. This can be done with your friends or with people in #fruit-vegetable-trade! (You will need the Trade role, which can be obtained in #721542917264638002.)

• Coconuts and bamboo are available through mystery islands! 🎍
