The server recommends you exchange dodo codes in dm's so that you do not get a cluster of random visitors joining. Why is it preferred to leave through the airport? Shouldn't I just leave with the back menu? Someone told me there was an island reset bug but surely this was patched out and it's just spooky ghosts now?

If you try to leave with the minus button, if any other player is not ready (they are still in a dialog, menu, etc), a countdown will start. If the blocking players don't quit their menus before it hits zero, everyone will be reset at the airport, wandering NPCs will respawn and villagers crafting will likely interrupt their crafting session. Leaving through the airport will prevent this from happening, as Orville makes sure it is safe for the player to leave.

Once they are there, you can dig holes or place furniture around them to stop them from moving, but you can't leave your island or they will move.

It would probably be easiest to organize things best you can right from the start. you can place things around the outer edge to make room for terraforming once it's unlocked though, depending on your main island design and how you want things to look. Or if you have the space, start your basic idea and let it advance.

If you don't want to wait, you can change your switch clock forward (time travel), load the game, save, and change the clock back again and it'll be done faster. ^_^

It's called the Stalk Market. Lol a great way to make money in game. A little pig comes on sunday morning to sell turnips and then timmy and tommy buy them later in the week for different prices every day

You can find other people with really good prices to sell and make millions in one trip.

But they only last a week, and time travelling past sunday, or going backwards will rot them.
