it's when you submit all the items, as long as you did not submit all of them they will not autofill

(for each plot btw, you need to stop from completing it if you want to hunt first, then compelte it when you have the ones you want)

How does the randomization of villager hunting work? Like, can you go search for Bob and find Fauna, use another ticket and find Fauna AGAIN?

if you are talking about the first 3 plots, you will only find 3 types of personalities, normal, lazy and peppy (it's locked for the "tutorial" part of the game) it's one ticket = one island = 1 villagers randomly, so if you are looking for someone specific you better have a lot of them. idk if this applies to the somewhat scripted part you're currently in, but later, the way the rng works, is it's an even distribution of species then a die roll of the exact villager. for example you have as many chances to find a deer, a cat etc. then if you roll a deer you have 1/(amount of availble deer villagers) to find the one you want.

but the next ticket might be octopus then you have 1/'amount of available octopi) to find oneyou might want etc

so in the normal part of the game, if you don't have octopi on your island, if you are looking for Marina for example, you have 1/39 chance to have an octopi and then 1/4 to find the one you need, so for each ticket you have 1/(39*4) = 1/156 chances to find Marina so 0.6% with each ticket

Those can all spawn in mutliplayer, the problem is with how bugs spawn iirc, where having more players might make them less likely to spawn since they spawn "off-screen" so to speak. With more players covering more of the island, the palm beetles are less likely to spawn in that case

with the animals i mentioned, is it optimal for me to go in and out of buildings? I've been doing that, caught the ones i was missing, but these still manage to slip through the cracks and not spawn at all

For giant trevally your best bet is to just use fish bait. For the palm beetles, they're just rare--going in and out of buildings won't really help or hurt

"Gifting" is anything that alters a villager's displayed/worn inventory. Doing a quest to deliver another item almost always does so, so it counts as gifting

•• Turnips/Stalk Market Explanation ••

Turnips are a special item sold by Daisy Mae on Sundays after unlocking Nook’s Cranny. They can be resold throughout the week at fluctuating prices, allowing players to profit through the Stalk Market. Buying on Sundays and selling at a higher price later is the goal. If you have an online subscription, you can visit other islands for better selling prices.

Purchasing Turnips:
Daisy Mae appears every Sunday from 5 AM to 12 PM, selling turnips for 90 to 110 bells each. You can buy as many as you can afford and carry, with stacks of 100 turnips (which appear as stacks of 10 in your inventory).

Turnips cannot be stored in your home inventory, so you’ll need a safe place for them. You can keep them inside your house, in a fenced area outdoors, or even bury them - but be aware that visitors with best friend status can dig them up.

Selling Turnips:
Turnips can be sold to Timmy and Tommy at Nook’s Cranny from Monday to Saturday. Your selling price changes after 12 PM. Prices vary widely, with the max possible price being 660 bells. Anything above 350 bells is generally considered a great price!

You can also sell turnips on other islands. Check #698949096601419827, #daisy-nookling-ads, and #turnips-looking-for for good prices. Be sure to read the pinned messages for posting guidelines.

To track price patterns and predict trends, you can use external tools like Turnip Prophet or AC-Turnip.

Spoiling:
Turnips will spoil if not sold by the following Sunday, making them worthless. Time traveling backwards will spoil them instantly and alter your price pattern. Moving forward in time is fine, but turnips will still rot if you go beyond the next Saturday.

Honestly I’m not sure, you might be able to. I would say better to be safe than sorry and wait until the campsite villager is moved in before placing another plot. If you’ve never visited another players island before then your move-in queue should be empty and the chance of the plot autofilling will be rather low. Hope that helps

That’s basically all that she does, she gives zodiac/star recipes that are only available through her. The only other way to get those recipes is trading with other players. She gives a random DIY of something you haven’t learned yet from either one of those series each time you talk to her, but she only gives one at a time. If you’ve learned all of the available DIYs that she can give you then she gives some star fragments instead. Her presence also guarantees that you have shooting stars, so you and any visitors can wish on some stars as well

4. When he lists your options, choose Save data.

Flowers have 4 genes and their color will depend on the 4 versions of their genes. It's not straightforward to say, for example, that two red hyacints clone into a purple one (i picked the combination at random). To be exact we need to specify the genes of the parents, not only their color
Also, when cloning (as opposed to breeding) happens, the offspring will have the same information as the parent so it will be the same color

thats not the only thing you need to do to get 3-star, try placing a TON of fencing! i only just got 3 today so i understand, plant crops and place furniture as well. its a daily rating system as well, and your points are calculated the next day, so for example i had my island 3-star yesterday but it only became 3-star today.

Hi, I'm new to the game so this may be a noob question. So I planted a chekerboard of red and yellow pansies, and each one has it's pair. It's a 100% chance u get an orange pansy overnight if u water them. But only like 1 or 2 orange pansys grow from all the ones I plant each time. Shouldn't they all breed to make one because it's 100% chance that they breed?

.t watering - it's 100% chance that they will produce an orange pansy only if they are selected for breeding. The chance of breeding is determined by how many players watered your flowers. Also without knowing your exact layout, checkeboards are usually inefficent since it can produce some cloning instead of breeding. I recommend you to check more infos in #garden-science-info

• Visit Nook Miles Ticket islands (mystery tours). These islands always have rocks you can hit for materials.
• Trade with other players if you have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription in #materials-and-tools.

Everything will be explained, apart from those three bits iirc: when you have visitors over the attempts at points become free ; trophies are awarded for reaching certain milestones of points obtained, points spent to redeem rewards also count in that total so you don't have to worry about decreasing your amount of points ; points carry over from each fishing tourney to the next, so you don't have to grind all day for all the trophies during a single tourney

You can... sort of. The previous reply is wrong, campsite visitors CAN move in even if you do not have an available plot. It takes a bit of talking to the camper and possibly playing some games but they may ask a random villager to take their spot if they agree to move in. If you want to keep the villager they want to replace, immediately close the game without saivng and try again - they may ask to replace someone else next time.

•• Turnips/Stalk Market Explanation ••

Turnips are a special item sold by Daisy Mae on Sundays after unlocking Nook’s Cranny. They can be resold throughout the week at fluctuating prices, allowing players to profit through the Stalk Market. Buying on Sundays and selling at a higher price later is the goal. If you have an online subscription, you can visit other islands for better selling prices.

Purchasing Turnips:
Daisy Mae appears every Sunday from 5 AM to 12 PM, selling turnips for 90 to 110 bells each. You can buy as many as you can afford and carry, with stacks of 100 turnips (which appear as stacks of 10 in your inventory).

Turnips cannot be stored in your home inventory, so you’ll need a safe place for them. You can keep them inside your house, in a fenced area outdoors, or even bury them - but be aware that visitors with best friend status can dig them up.

Selling Turnips:
Turnips can be sold to Timmy and Tommy at Nook’s Cranny from Monday to Saturday. Your selling price changes after 12 PM. Prices vary widely, with the max possible price being 660 bells. Anything above 350 bells is generally considered a great price!

You can also sell turnips on other islands. Check #698949096601419827, #daisy-nookling-ads, and #turnips-looking-for for good prices. Be sure to read the pinned messages for posting guidelines.

To track price patterns and predict trends, you can use external tools like Turnip Prophet or AC-Turnip.

Spoiling:
Turnips will spoil if not sold by the following Sunday, making them worthless. Time traveling backwards will spoil them instantly and alter your price pattern. Moving forward in time is fine, but turnips will still rot if you go beyond the next Saturday.

How to make more palm tree beetles spawn, I’m trying to catch the Horned Hercules and Golden Stag and I’m at a Nook Mile island and I cut down all the non palm trees but there’s like no beetles spawning

•• Turnips/Stalk Market Explanation ••

Turnips are a special item sold by Daisy Mae on Sundays after unlocking Nook’s Cranny. They can be resold throughout the week at fluctuating prices, allowing players to profit through the Stalk Market. Buying on Sundays and selling at a higher price later is the goal. If you have an online subscription, you can visit other islands for better selling prices.

Purchasing Turnips:
Daisy Mae appears every Sunday from 5 AM to 12 PM, selling turnips for 90 to 110 bells each. You can buy as many as you can afford and carry, with stacks of 100 turnips (which appear as stacks of 10 in your inventory).

Turnips cannot be stored in your home inventory, so you’ll need a safe place for them. You can keep them inside your house, in a fenced area outdoors, or even bury them - but be aware that visitors with best friend status can dig them up.

Selling Turnips:
Turnips can be sold to Timmy and Tommy at Nook’s Cranny from Monday to Saturday. Your selling price changes after 12 PM. Prices vary widely, with the max possible price being 660 bells. Anything above 350 bells is generally considered a great price!

You can also sell turnips on other islands. Check #698949096601419827, #daisy-nookling-ads, and #turnips-looking-for for good prices. Be sure to read the pinned messages for posting guidelines.

To track price patterns and predict trends, you can use external tools like Turnip Prophet or AC-Turnip.

Spoiling:

Guys i think i have messed up and need advice/help. I have been playing animal crossing on my switch lite since 2020… 5 years. I recently just upgraded to an OLED switch and got rid of my switch lite… I did all the stuff of my switch lite to make my new switch the primary one etc… I just put in animal crossing to play and it’s completely back at the start with timmy and tommy. That is probably done via the Happy Home Paradise DLC and the school facility you unlock there fairly early on. Camera angles are probably done via an unlock you can get from Nook Miles redemptions after your resident service building is upgraded.

It might also be done through Photopia on Harv's island, actually

Hi! I have a question: I have the dlc that lets me redesign my villagers’ homes on my island. If i redesign their home and they get adopted by another player later, will their home reset to their original design or will my redesign follow them to their new island after moving out?

I really need help. I've just restarted my game and im selecting my villagers for the first three plots. Ive gone to some mystery islands and asked two of my villagers to move in after ive already placed the housing kits and submitted all of the interior furniture. Does this mean that they'll still move in, or am i just stuck with autofillers now? 😭 (None of the exterior furniture is placed)

I just unlocked it a few days ago, you need to get KK Slider on your island by getting a 3 star rating. I didn’t really decorate, but my stars went from 1 to 3 from just finishing the plots for all 10 villagers and maybe the few furnitures and lots of flowers I’ve been breeding

Talk to Isabelle to find out your island evaluation, and she’ll also recommend what to do to get 3 stars if you don’t have it yet. If you can’t get that, talk to Nook about what to do

Ask Tom Nook what to do, he’ll make you put up a few other things. You’ll have to build your campsite and invite the villagers from the campsite (takes like 3 days) before you can invite the final few yourself from mystery islands

For the #701251557458444395, I'm confused about it because the chances of me having an empty plot AND coincidentally someone posts in #701251557458444395 has a villager that I like is slim. I have 10 villagers rn, so I'm confused how people use this channel?

Do people either:
A) Kick a villager out using the moveout/time travel method (there's a guide here I think it's ".t moveout") AND THEN wait for someone to post a villager that they like in #701251557458444395
B) DM the person that posted a villager you like that you want it. But you take 15 mins or so to start the moveout/time travel process and THEN you're able to travel to their island to grab that villager you want?

**It makes sense if a brand new player with less than 10 ppl will most likely have an open plot available, so they can look in the channel for the 24 hours (unless they time travel backwards to get more time?) to see if there's a villager that someone else posted that they like. But for me, I have 10 villagers. I hope this makes sense
