I’ve had my first 5 villagers including the campsite one, I was wondering if I invite an ammibo and then invite them back again and again, can I place an empty plot on the third day and the amiibo can move into that? Or can you only use amiibos to replace current animals when you have a full island?

You can place the plot on the last day, if you somehow miscounted, once you have completed the 3 quests you can invite them a 4th time to invite them without doing a quest

By diving in the ocean! You need a wetsuit - you can buy one either from Nook's Cranny's cabinet or Nook Miles redemption. Then, once wearing it, press A while standing at the very edge of the beach to start swimming. Swim faster by mashing A, and dive using Y to catch the sea creatures indicated by bubbles ^^

I grew a pink rose from a red and purple one to make a special pink rose, and I breeded the special pink rose with a yellow rose to make a special red rose, then cloned the special rose 3 times by watering them by themselves, and am now breeding those red roses for a blue rose. Is that process the correct method for blue roses, or is there a specific kind of yellow rose I was missing?

The cliffs technically take up these tiles I marked in the image, and there can't be a river and diagonal cliff edge on the same tile, so unfortunately you'll need to leave a bit of room in-between like you've done between the marked spots

You can fill in the water tiles in the jagged inward corners, if that makes sense, and round those out to get a smooth edge as close to the cliff as possible

Hi! Yes, the initial flowers are the same as seed flowers, but it is risky to use them. They can breed by itself after it has rained, so there is a high likelyhood there are some hybrids mixed in unless you just started playing and it has not rained yet. If you accidentally take one of the hybrids, it will mess up your breeding, so it is better to just use seeds unless you are absolutely 100% sure a flower is an initial flower that generated at island creation!

You MUST have an unsold, empty plot available to invite a villager from another player's island, or to find villagers on mystery islands (and you can only invite one villager from a mystery island per day). A villager in boxes, or a house with the "I moved out" sign is NOT an empty plot.

There's a high chance the plot will autofill overnight, yes, it's not guaranteed but depending on some factors, it's very likely. But yes, the camper will also be gone the next day, unless this is your very first campsite visitor, in which case they have to be invited to live on your island.

If you don't want the campsite visitor (assuming they aren't your first one) and don't want the plot to autofill, you can either look for a villager today using nook miles tickets, or invite one from another person's island. ^^

The benefit of them is that they will always have a different colour variation than your island's native one (which always shows up at your Nook's Cranny, no other variants will), but if you have ||Cyrus on Harv's island unlocked||, that benefit becomes a bit less useful.

If you see something you like though, feel free to buy it if the higher price does not feel too bad, they aren't scams by any means

So it can and sometimes will take a long time. All you can really do to make it easier is speed up the process via TT, which is what the guide does - there isn't really any way to manipulate the RNG, except for the moving kit trick explained in the guide. You need an empty plot in order to find villagers on mystery islands. If you’re at the beginning of the game, then you can invite more villagers from a mystery island after your first three plot villagers (plots 3-5) are fully moved in and when you invite your first campsite villager (plot 6) to live on your island.

My advice would be to look for shadows of that size at the right time (9 PM - 4 AM) or use fish bait! You'll probably need a lot of fish bait unfortunately, but you can toss more in and it'll spawn another fish right away while scaring away the old one! Just look for that size shadow and go from there

position yourself diagonally to the rock and dig holes to the side of you like in that picture
works on any corner, u dont have to be top left

it prevents you from moving backwards, so you can just keep hitting the rock until all 8 squares are filled

You should be good with those ^^ custom designs and the fruit are the main things. I cannot think of anything else that is unobtainable in offline single player. There are some things you can only get once per player, but y'know, you are still able to get them. Unless maybe a couple things, actually:

Something you can consider, is getting items from the Pocket Camp collaboration (see the second image below) or the Sanrio collaboration, as for the Pocket Camp items, you needed to get a download code from Pocket Camp for a small DLC which made the items orderable, but I believe now that Pocket Camp's live service model was discontinued and it became paid, that DLC isn't obtainable anymore, unless you got a code before it happened

And with Sanrio, you need the 6 Sanrio amiibos to access the items yourself, so if you don't have those you cannot get them without other players! See the list of items in the first image below ^^

This game does not use QR codes like New Leaf, you should input the creator ID you mention in your message into the creator ID input field in the custom design portal, that way you will see all the designs the player has uploaded and can download any you like (or the code for the specific design in the Design ID field if you prefer)

There is a way to scan QR codes from New Leaf into the game too, and that happens through the Nintendo Switch Online mobile phone app, but designs made in New Horizons exclusively use custom design IDs and creator IDs consisting of letter/number strings

If you specifically want QR codes for whatever reason, you can look up designs specifically made in New Leaf, and you should find some, but the colour palette that was available in New Leaf was significantly more limited to the one available in New Horizons, which might be visible in how the designs look

Hi all! I bought ACNH (physical copy) so my partner could learn to play. I had previously played with an ex on a different console. So we put the new island in my partner's (Jana) name. And they are kind of obsessed and have been using it to help relax.

They wanted to be able to play during their break time at work, but didn't want to bring our main Switch since they work evenings and I wouldn't be able to play any other games. So they bought a Switch Lite, because I understood that they could access game data that way. I had done that with my ex with digitally downloaded games and thought ACNH saved cloud data.

I linked the Lite to my Nintendo account. But when they put the cartridge in, it started up the game as if they were creating a brand new island. Is there a way for them to be able to play their island back and forth on either console without losing data, assuming they are trading the cartridge back and forth? I'm trying to find the answer elsewhere and it's giving me a headache 😅

Yes, if a villager in boxes is not adopted by the next day, they'll be 'voided' so to speak! The only way to accomplish this 'early' is to time travel to the next day, which will give you an empty plot and the ability to hunt/invite a new villager!

go to harv’s island and use his house (photopia). when you enter go to decoration mode and then scroll to the very right. you’ll see all your residents there. click on the villager you wanted to try outfits on and they will spawn in the room. Hover over that character and press X to customize them with different outfits you wanted to try

Sadly there's no way to separate items in storage the way you'd like, your best bet is to drop the items on the ground like you said. It does hurt your island rating, sure, but hopefully that's only temporary!
