You won't destroy rocks unless you eat food before hitting them, so it doesn't matter what kind of axe you use! Though we recommend using a shovel when you get access to them

Also, if you do destroy your rocks, they'll respawn 1 a day on your island

But a higher buying price allows for a chance of higher selling prices during the week, though with no guarantee
Do not gamble all of your money into turnips since you might not make a benefit, although if you track your prices properly using the website Turnip Tracker for example it is more predictable, and if you have Nintendo Switch Online, you can basically guarantee yourself a profit by visiting an island where the selling price is high

I've remodeled 2 of my villagers houses and both i put double beds into them.
In one house the bed got replaced with a crafting table.
But the other one still had the double bed

if you did not place a crafting table and kitchen area in the remodelled house, villagers will temporarily remove one piece of furniture to place their own when they want to craft/cook
It'll go back to your layout once they are done crafting/cooking (in 3 hours at most)

They nerfed the spawn rate for tarantulas pretty early on, so it's harder to get them on mystery islands.

If you want to find a tarantula to donate to Blathers, you can still clear out mystery islands like you were saying, it'll just take a while to find one. If you're trying to make money, I'd recommend diving for sea creatures over tarantula farming!

Once the villager agrees to move to your island, it’s safe to time travel! You can time travel to get them to move in faster if you’d like. If for whatever reason you weren’t successful at getting them to move to your island, then the plot may autofill. You shouldn’t have to worry about that though as long as you saw them say they’re moving to your island and you left the other players island via the airport

the personalities are predetermined but the villagers themselves aren't really. you can hunt for them if you don't fully furnish the homes, or let them autofill on their own

once your campsite villager (6th villager) moves in you're able to start moving them out if you aren't happy with who you have

Yes I filled all three plots with the required furniture. Though, now that I think of it, I can’t remember if I visited the island before or after I did the furniture part. The plots were definitely down though.

if you complete the furniture, they will be automatically filled, so this is what might have happened, it should be noted on the plots who will move in. Also if you invited people before placing the plot, these will be the ones who come.
For NMT islands, you will only find villagers when you have room to invite them in. and bear in mind starting now, you can only invite one per animal crossing day from these islands

If you want duplicates of one flower (e.g you’re trying to get more blue roses), then just isolate the flower to where it’s either by itself or not by other flowers of the same kind and water it. It should duplicate over the span of a few days

That guide is just simplifying a natural in-game process that’s programmed into the game, so it’s not that it doesn’t work — you’re just experiencing bad RNG is all. There’s nothing you can possibly do wrong with that method, it just cuts out all unnecessary steps to help speed up what could take several IRL months without time travel to only a few minutes to a few hours with time travel. You’ll get someone to ask eventually, just keep trying. It can take a while, so it’ll require some patience

hi, excuse me I'm having a problem with my animal crossing and I need some help if possible? we recently just got a new Wi-Fi installed in my home and after some testing the Wi-Fi works perfectly online for every other game on my switch and Xbox however, on animal Crossing, it won't let me travel to any other islands saying that it's unable to connect to the other switch, I tried connecting to multiple different switches each with a different dodo code, and it says this every single time the nat type is B and by all accounts, it should be working. some people use Ables (the clothing store), while other trade or go to other islands to visit Ables! there's also the option of custom designed clothing, which is patterned designs on pre-set clothes (pre-set being a tee shirt, short dress, long dress, etc. just the style of outfit)

hey everyone! im not sure if this is the right place to ask, but basically i had a (530 hour) acnh island but two years ago i sold my switch for a new one and forgot to do the island transfer. I had island backups enabled. Would it be possible to restore my data? (same nintendo account, new switch)
now i did call nintendo customer services and they told me it wasn't possible, but i feel like if it's not possible in this case then what's the point of having an island backup?

Nintendo generally only restores islands in the case of a lost, damaged, or stolen Switch. There's also the fact it was two years ago, so it's difficult to say if the island is still being stored. You've already done what you can in contacting Nintendo themselves

Hello! Apologies if this isn't the place to ask, but I'm having issues finding my old save data and I'm not sure if this is a solvable issue. I wanted to ask around just in case I can salvage it somehow.
Long story short, I've had my switch and ACNH game cards in perfect condition since I last played it (2022 being the latest). I've archived it a while back and just opened it today to find myself making a brand new island. My brothers haven't opened their saves since 2021, yet their saves are perfectly fine. I don't understand why mine is suddenly gone. Neither of them have backups enabled when they unarchived the game, just as I did. I didn't notice any issues when I unarchived my game, so I don't think it's corrupted. Any ideas why this might've happened or if I can find my old data?

You can definitely use an amiibo, but you would have to invite that amiibo villager for three different days and craft items for them each time until they’re ready to move in. Unless you’ve already done that in the past, the plot will be autofilled at that point when the amiibo villager is ready. If you have 10 villagers, the amiibo villager can just replace the autofill with no issues

You’ll get a new shining spot each day, regardless of what you choose to do with the current money trees. Each money tree will grow the set of bell bags only one time. So once you shake them down and collect those bells, it’ll just be a regular tree from that point forward

Fish, bugs, and sea creatures are available at different times of day and during different months! You can either time travel to different months or just wait for time to progress naturally. Going to islands with Nook Miles Tickets won't give you different options for these--they're the same as on your island

Yes that's right, through hacking it's possible, but take those items at your own risk. When handling items you are not supposed to have, the game can get confused and the item can e.g. get permanently stuck in your inventory, this happens when taking for example a construction kit from a hacked island, as they are not supposed to be able to be taken to another island, or dropped in the first place. I'm not sure what the behavior will be with the items you asked about

And when it comes to your initial question, as far as I understand it's kind of a grey area, if you want to be absolutely 100% safe better not to

You should be able to speak with Tom Nook about what to do, and he’ll let you know the next steps. If the 3 plots haven’t filled yet, it is a bit of a waiting game because he won’t give you the next task until after that point iirc

Gotcha. So the other two will move in one per day. I believe there are some things like the customization workshop and visiting Harvey’s island which you can do if you haven’t done those already. Otherwise you’ll just have to wait or tt til they are all fully moved in before you will receive the next quest

Your Resident Services building will automatically upgrade once all 3 villagers are moved in too

wait until you have a villager asking to move out, if you mistakenly spoke to them just shut the game before answering if it's one you want to keep. and then just check the next day who has the bubble, until it lands on the right person. be fore to know who is the last villager to have moved in ,and who is the latest you said no to when they asked to move, to be sure you can say no to a villager you want to keep and wait 5 days

yes, there are high chances the bubble will be on someone else, it can be the same villager twice but it's unlikely, even if it is, you still have the next day etc until you get the right one

OK, so this is an odd question but, i’m currently trying to get the paradise planning event tee, the purple version, to appear in the appeal shop but only the same colored shirts show up, like the kk shirt has different variances, but I keep getting the same one.
The way I’m doing this is by remodeling the shop so new items appear, it seems to only spawn the same swatches of colors even tho the shirts are now in different positions.
I can only get the tee today since the kk party is happening so the shop only sells the event items and it’d honestly just sucks to wait for another two weeks for kk to appear again. What can I do?
