My girlfriend is a resident on my island and have a tent there. She also have a island on her on switch that is registered as my primary switch and my switch is registered as hers (so we can share games from my library).

I want to move her tent location in my island but when I try to use the Call Resident App it gives a error saying This user can’t use this software. How can I fix this?

You just have to boot up the game on the console that your island is on with her profile and move the tent that way with her character

No. That thought bubble isn't even a guarantee she wants to move out. I had many of those thought bubbles and only twice did they want to move out. Snake will kick out a different villager randomly. If you don't like who he's kicking out, you can turn off the game without saving and he'll try a different villager.

Usually if you don’t already have the recipe they’ll also give you the recipe. I’d double check that you don’t already know it or that it’s not in your inventory for you to learn. If you for sure don’t have it and she didn’t give it to you I’d just close out the game skip a day and try again.

Time traveling does not reverse / rewind progress. You still keep all the progress, items, etc. that you've completed / acquired even if you time travel backwards.

Yes, when your island is generated for the first time, it comes with what's called a weather seed. Basically the meteorological events are fixed, the rain and rainbows, and also meteor showers. The stars will be the same to the second on the 28th of that month and year

I’m also assuming Celeste appears when it’s a “Isabelle announced” meteor shower?

Yes if it's October 28th 2024, you will always have a shower, with falling stars at the exact same hour every time on that specific date.
However you can't assume Celeste will show up.
She can come up to once a week, on days without events (KK concert counts as an event).
If you have multiple meteor showers that week, she will randomly chose one. If you have a light on or a heavy one she will prioritize the heavy one.

So if you finished the 3 plots quest and have 5 total villagers now, your next villager is going to be from your campsite. Talk to Tom Nook about setting it up if you haven’t done so already. If the option isn’t there yet then just work on what he tells you until you get to that point. Just keep in mind that the first campsite villager is a smug villager and you have to invite them to progress.

A villager in boxes means that they’re ready for trade! If someone has an empty plot and comes across a villager in boxes they want, they can invite them to live on their island

You can gift usually small items and clothing, depending on their taste and mood they might wear it, expose it or just store it and you'll never see it

They will never ask for flowers as a quests afaik

I had this very issue a few weeks back, I found that fully closing and reopening the game as well as messing around with the settings seemed to fix it! If you're still having issues id try disconnecting the settings and then re-doing it ^^

I have my girlfriend as resident in my island but I get a error when I try to call her to play with the nookphone. I need to move her house but only she can do it.

We have 2 switches setup in a way that my switch is set as her primary and hers as mine. The games are bought in my account and we did it this way so she could share my library. I think the problem comes from this setup because before that I could call her to play in my island normally.

The backups happen periodically whenever the game isn’t being played and you have a stable internet connection. I’m not sure there are any specifics on when those intervals are, but as long as it is backing up properly now, then you’ve got it set up the best way possible!

Unfortunately not. Villagers decide at random when they will wear gifted fashion items. I think they are slightly more likely to wear things that fit their preferred style/color. And some villagers may be more “willing” to wear things (usually if they have the fashion hobby) but it’s always their own choice lol

I had that exact problem. Diana might the glasses you gave her off display in her house and wear them. I remember I gave my villager, Jitters a hat and he put it on display, I didn't give him any furniture items but he eventually wore them. My other villager, Diva, displays two of her shirts I gave her and she eventually switches into those shirts. However, she hasn't worn the leopard shirt in a while..

However, if you don't want Diana to display her clothing, you can give her furniture and hope she replaces the glasses with the furniture in her house.

She should wear them eventually either way is my point.

I have a question about visitors leaving my island. Someone was leaving this evening but the airport flashed up really quickly (normally you’d see the player going home) but it was just an empty airport and it was much quicker than normal and it immediately saved. Okay this is a very complicated question about backup saves. A while ago I transfered data to a new switch. I had the whole shebang of the jsland back up and contacting customer service, I got my save file back from AC and can play it and its bound to my switch blablabla transfer went well.

But my question is: I want to facotry reset my switch (so I can go to an earlier version of Totk for the duplication glitch, where I accidently updated the game version) I have my back up enabled etc via my subscription.

Do I have to recontact nintendo customer service to get my version back? Or can I just factory reset and retrieve my copy?

From Nintendo Support website:

Recovery is only available in situations where a Nintendo Switch system is lost, stolen, or damaged. A new or repaired Nintendo Switch system is required.
A factory reset for your own personal choice would mean you manually decided to delete the save data, and you’d likely be told you don’t qualify for the island backup recovery. I have heard some folks say they contacted Nintendo support after choosing to factory reset and the rep was willing to help them recover the island anyway, but others have said they were denied after factory reset for the reasons mentioned above. I guess it’s really up to you whether you want to take that risk. I would recommend trying to contact Nintendo Support first to ask them if you’d be able to use the recovery service if you need to perform a factory reset. (They might ask why you need to do the reset, and will prob have more info on what your options may be)

The day after that (2 days after you agreed for them to move), it'll be an empty plot!

Once Blathers is there, you need to donate 15 critters or fossils (he'll give the diy recipes you need) to prompt the museum to be built (think it takes 2 days)

The move out process is completely RNG (randomized) so there’s no telling how fast you can get a villager out. If you have amiibos at your disposal, you can definitely use those and that will be the quickest way to kick any of your villagers. Otherwise, if you use the move out method or campsite method, there’s no telling how long it will take

Hello! Had a question for you all. My wife wanted to make her own island on a new switch. We havent bought one yet. I beleive our copy of acnh is digital. Our main switch has the game online services and happy home. What can we do to cut down on cost but still play online together? Will we need to buy everything again?

at the very least, you'd need to sign in the switch account you bought NH with on the new switch, then make a second switch account and use it to set up an islander on the new island. (you can't both use the same switch account to play together, but you need the previous switch account to be able to play animal crossing without buying a new copy)

with that, you should be able to play together using local multiplayer.

if that doesn't work (though that is exactly how i play the game with my little sister, it should work), then you'll need to buy a separate version of the game on a new switch account (digital or physical, doesn't matter) AND buy nintendo online for that account

Not necessarily, but you’d need to provide more details to have a better idea. For example, the large and small spike patterns may start at a sell price that seems pretty low and it would decrease a few times before spiking to the high price. But there’s also a decreasing pattern, where yes, your prices will just get worse throughout the week. There’s also a random pattern. Have you been tracking the prices twice every day (one in the morning, one after price changes at noon)?

Yep, you’ll have one price from open until 11:59 am, and a second price from 12:00pm (noon) until close. You’ll need to keep track of both to get the best data if you want to try to predict your overall pattern. And then you can use a website like https://turnipprophet.io/index.html to see when you should sell

• make sure you have a good amount of trees and flowers (bushes also help)
• decorate your whole island, throwing down furniture randomly counts as long as its decently spaced out across the island
• clean up weeds and fishing trash
• make sure you have at least two bridges and/or inclines, the more you have the better

if you chose to delete it, its very unlikely they'll restore it. it warns you multiple times during the process that you're unable to reverse the decision, and that service is almost exclusively for if something damages your switch or corrupts your saves

some items can have patterns applied from the kits, but if you want to change the color of the item, to change it you need to unlock Cyrus and Reese's shop it is dable but not from a workbench

2. Get a golden watering can, either by reaching 5 stars are crafting one, or obtaining one from a ti
3. Water the black roses in the aforementioned pattern

You can have fruit tree farms by planting fruit trees, or by using crops to yield an actual harvest. However there are wheat items to make it look like a full wheat field (that you can't harvest)!

You have to wait until there's an empty plot, which only happens after he's packed and moved out. So, the day after he's in boxes is when you should start.

From there, you only have one in game day to find and invite another resident through whatever means you choose (i.e. island hopping, villager trades, etc.).

You just need to wait until the next in-game day passes is all. Time traveling back to a day you previously played doesn’t trigger the morning announcements, so it’s technically not a new day without them. It’s like you’re jumping back into that same day. Once the next in-game day passes (whether you wait or time travel to speed up the process), you’ll get Isabelle’s announcement and KK should come then

The Resident Services tent will upgrade to the building automatically, once your 5th villager is fully moved in. Once it is upgrade to that building, you just go inside and speak to Tom Nook in order to move your player’s house. (Choose the option “about my home” > “I want to relocate”)

There’s no way to customize the Resident Services plaza, if that’s what you are asking in that last question

If you have paid off the initial tent loan (upgraded to an actual house), and you have the upgraded Resident Services plaza, then you should be able to speak to Tom Nook and choose the option “About my home”. Then choose the one that says “I want to relocate.”

mysterious islands use a nook miles ticket to go, they always follow the seasons and time of the day you are at. If you have a free plot you can find villagers

Kapp'n island are unlocked after you reached 3 stars and had the event following this. You can spawn on island out of seasons or at different times of the day. They also have exclusive flora (bushes, veggies, glowing moss and vines) and DIYs. You will never find villagers on Kapp'n islands.

so here is the thing, the nook miles achievement count both Guilliver and Gullivarrr, while the golden shovel count only Gulliver, so you need to help Gulliver 30 times
