How do I avoid Villagers having getting ugly clothes? Some of mine had an argument recently which made one of them give the other a piece of clothing which i hate. Can I just choose the other dialogue option next time to avoid them wearing it?
And are there any other events where they can get clothing from? like Sydney has a lunch service apron displayed in her house out of nowhere

Even if you tell them it doesn't look good, I believe they will still keep it and wear it. If you want to be sure they won't wear it, either open the package and then give it to the recipient (who will notice something is off and you'll get slightly less friendship points than if you didn't open it), or ignore that request altogether (just make sure not to get rid of that item until the next day, as the sender will ask to take it back and will be mad if you lost it)

I believe these delivery requests and direct gifting from players are the only things that villagers will store... iirc fishing/bug catching requests aren't stored, Toy Day gifts aren't stored.. I'm not sure anymore for birthday gifts

It depends on your airport location yes. I'm not sure where the flyover exactly starts in relation to the airport, a rough-ish estimation based on my island map and flyover would be one acre to the east and 2.5 acres north

If you mean custom designs and Sable patterns, I believe they do nothing. If you mean certain color swaps of furniture, it might change the color labels of the item, which I'm not too sure is taken into account by HHA but sounds like it could

afaik, wallpaper and flooring are processed by the HHA rating system like any placed furniture item. If you use custom designs then it won't have any color tags, so that basically equivalent to as if you were removing one or two items from the room

but there are a lots of other ways to get points, so it really should not be an issue

Well, all furniture items have a base point value, including wallpapers and floorings. If custom design wallpapers and floorings have a value of zero, that would naturally give a lower score than watever was used previously. But I'm not sure if the value is truly zero, that would require testing, for example by waiting the next HHA evaluation, then not touching anything except one custom design wall or floor, and see by how much your rating has changed when the next evaluation comes around.

Once you place a plot the only guaranteed day it's empty is when you place it, after it might be filled randomly, if you ever played online previously, or in local, chances are it will fill the following day

if i wanted to speedrun my way to getting the sisterly best friend level reaction unlocked, would the best way be to gift the villager, TT to the next day and repeat? Is there anything else in this that I should be considering? Like do they only offer the reaction whilst outside or things like that? And roughly how many days of this would be needed to reach best friend level?

Make sure it’s something that will get you the most points out of a daily gift, consider wrapping non-native fruit or assessed fossils and giving that as a gift everyday. Another really good way of raising friendship is giving gifts during the target villagers birthday, you can repeat that as many times as you like. There’s no telling how long it can take, it depends on your current friendship level. You can check friendship levels with Katrina to see where you’re currently at. You can only get the reaction when the villager is outside, so once you’re at the best friend level that villager will randomly approach you to teach you that reaction. Below is a couple of guides you can check out pertaining to friendship and gifting to help you get to best friend status quickly. I hope this helps

As far as I can tell, a villager only has the same two cards in their hands each visit, so if you know which ones those are, it gives you a 50/50 chance of guessing what card they have. If you already invited a villager for the day from a NMT island, then yes you would have to wait until tomorrow to go hunting again. The plot will more than likely autofill at that point though. You can always adopt a villager from another player if you want to avoid that 10th plot from autofilling tomorrow!

hi I just joined and I am not that far in animal crossing and I would like some tips

-keep the weeds you pick, they can be used for recipes or you can sell them for more when leif visits.
-talk to sable every day once you have the tailor shop open
-keep in mind how you want your island to look when youre placing buildings such as the shop or villager homes, or else youll have to pay to move them later.
-diving for sea creatures is a great way to make money earlier, also duplicate fossils
-if you see a gold spot in the ground, dig it up, itll be 1000 bells. you can then replant those 1000 bells and soon a tree will grow thatll drop 3000 bells (you can plant up to a max of 10000 bells to get 30000 from the tree but you might not have that kind of money early game)
-prepare for debt from tom nook lol

If someone else adopts her then they will get her default house, not the starter house. If you would want her to have her default house while she’s on your island you can either move her out/back in later on, or if you have the DLC you can change it up that way ^^

You can trade villagers! It works like they ask to move out and you say yes. The next day they'll be "in boxes" which means they're packed up in their house (like how they move in), that's when you trade!
You go to the persons island (or they go to yours, if it's your villager), and talk to the villager in boxes. That villager will mention moving away, and you can invite them to your place and such ^

Basically, yeah! It's not really a trade as in they get a villager and you get a villager, it's more like you're giving them away

The "trade" part comes in where you can offer gifts to the player for letting them take a villager! Those can be bells, NMTs, furniture items, etc! Just not fish/bugs/sea creatures as those cannot be traded ^

It’s random when they’ll ask to move in, they might keep saying no for now but just keep bugging them and they will eventually either play the card game to move in or ask to move in. You can “reset” the RNG if you close the game and try to approach them again. Hope this helps

So-called villager hunting is new; when there is an empty plot on your island, you can spend as many Nook Miles tickets at the airport as you want and have in order to try and land the random choice on your desired villager. Though if you only have one target, it can take a really long time and a really large amount of tickets to find them

Unfortunately it's just really really luck based. It wasn't meant for people to manually evict villagers, so trying to do that is not very easy. All the time travel method does essentially is speed up the process, it's mostly just up to luck, and you cannot really do anything about it (except for the house moving kit trick which helps a little bit, explained in the guide)

You MUST have an unsold, empty plot available to invite a villager from another player's island, or to find villagers on mystery islands (and you can only invite one villager from a mystery island per day). A villager in boxes, or a house with the "I moved out" sign is NOT an empty plot.

There's 26 sisterly villagers and 57 jock villagers, so getting one specific sisterly is 1/26 ≈ 3.8 % and one specific jock is 1/57 ≈ 1.8%. If you want both of those to happen at the same time, you're approximately looking at a 0.07% chance

It very heavily depends on what species your target is! When deciding who is on a mystery island, the game first picks the species and then a random applicable villager from said species. So the more applicable villagers in a species, the lower the odds. So if you have someone specific in mind I can count the odds for them?

Nookbot said Resident Services has to be upgraded to a building as well. So, hopefully after you do that, you should get that letter in the mail!
And technically, you don't have to have an online service to get the sleep prompt, but you will in order to use her services.

• If both of these are met, Tom Nook will announce that Resident Services will be closed the following day for construction. The day after that you’ll have the building! (You can time travel to make this process quicker.)

When a villager is moving out, the day after they asked to move out (through thought bubble) or the day a camper asked to replace them they will be in boxes (=inside their home, all their furniture in cardboard boxes, sweeping the floor). On this day, someone with an empty plot on their island can go in and invite the villager to live on their island (excluding the six sanrio villagers). 🙂
To give amiibo villagers to others, you first have to invite them to live on your island, then kick them out some way (via another amiibo is by far the easiest way) and the day they are in boxes, someone can come invite them. You can post in #villager-trade if you want payment for them or #701251557458444395 if you wanna help out for free ^^

Sounds like a NAT type issue. Visiting others in ACNH generally requires A or B, anything lower will not work

You can do a connection test in the internet settings of the console to see your type

There are ways to change the type but I'm not familiar with the process, sorry

Yea, NAT type is a property of a wifi connection, it's something related to how well your console can connect to other consoles (there is probably more to it, but as I said I'm a layperson when it comes to this stuff haha). Something I do is when you first time travel a long time to kick them out, the villagers will ask where you’ve been? So I only talk to three: the one I want to move out, and then two others, and ignore everyone else. His friendship level and species shouldn't affect his chances of asking, so you're probably not doing anything wrong, it can just be hard to get the bubble! Especially if you're trying to get it on one villager in particular

I think it depends on how the rest of your layout is, but from the looks of it you may not be able to since it’s so close to the water. You can try to climb down and even it out, but if you have a way you can possibly get back up nearby then you can also try that!

Can someone explain in detail to me how time travel into making a villager leave works?

.t moveout // So basically the reason why you would time travel while using this move out method is simply to speed up the natural in-game process that happens. You time travel so that way instead of it taking a few IRL months waiting for a villager to move out, it only takes from a few minutes to a few hours instead. Once you time travel a month when you’re starting off, you just skip day by day and check to see which villager has a move out bubble. The bubble is completely RNG, so it’ll be random when villagers will get the move out bubble. This guide helps you skip any unnecessary steps so it helps you save some time. So it’s first skip a month and than day by day. What happens once a villager has a though bubble? You talk and tell them to leave save the game and set the time back to normal?

Once you find a villager that wants to move out and you tell them yes, then it’s best to wait to sync back to real time if you want to avoid auto filling the plot. The plot will be empty the next day, that’s when you can hunt. If you time travel back to real time or go past that next day at 5:00 am, then you risk the plot autofilling. The plot will autofill the following day after the plot is empty if you’ve ever been to another players island before, otherwise it’s a 20% chance iirc of it autofilling. It’s totally up to you if you want to autofill the plot or not, but just a bit of advice if you’re trying to avoid that ^^

It means they're time travelling to keep them in boxes, and after a certain amount of time they're not gonna try to keep them in boxes anymore ^

So like if I have a villager in boxes and stay within that day, I could say I'm gonna void them in 4 hours (a random time just for the sake of explaining).
After that four hours is up, I'm not going to try to keep them in boxes anymore and will let them fully move out without anybody getting them

As someone who admittedly gained a majority of my bells from family members, I can’t confirm nor deny these being absolutely helpful but it might help at least a bit!

Definitely hunt down Fossils and have them classified by Blathers if you can, because just selling unknown Fossils won’t give you as much Bells as classified Fossils from what I noticed

Hello i need some help for my friend she has been stuck in the game for so long she cant progress anymore

She can only get upto 5 villagers (the buildings she had to built by the nook beginners tasks) she alrdy has the museum and nook is alrdy in a building instead of a tent now but she cant do anything now. She cant built more bridges nor new houses (while the max villagers should be 10) she doesnt get any tasks either from nook so she does not know what to do. This is already the second time she restarted the full game because she thought this was a glitch or something? It gets boring not being able to do anything compared to other players. any ideas?

Hello! i just had a meteor shower on my island and i must've wished about 60 times before clearing my beach and saving. I time skipped to the morning after, and i didnt see any star fragments. I cleared my beach and time skipped to the morning after again, but i still didnt see any star fragments. is this normal?

you shouldn't have TTed further than the next day after the meteorshower. The fragments don't spawn all at the same time and take some time. You just need wander around until they spawn. If you'd like you can TT to the meteor shower, wish again, then TT to the next day

Yes that's right, you can grow palm trees on the sand path 😄 but flowers and crops and shrubs also grow on it! Unlike on beach sand. So it's essentially a better version of beach sand

Hello, I wanna ask if this is correct, I read it somewhere online and I followed it but it didn’t work.

It didn’t say “sold” after submitting the last item and I got assigned a random villager the next day.

I really need help I just started playing this week.

This is what I read ⬇️

day 1 :

• put down plot 1 and give in 5 of the 6 items
• afterwards fly to another island until you find a villager you like and ask them to move in
• go back to your island and submit last craft item for that house and the house should say ' sold and reserved for … ‘

day 2 :

• villager for plot 1 house should be moving in
• only then can you fly again to search for new villagers
• repeat previous steps

No, it's overcomplicating it; you can actually search for all 3 villagers at any point between unlocking the airport and submitting all the items, and they'll get queued and will move in when you finish the plots. The plots also have personalities pre-assigned to them - the lazy villager always moves to plot 1, peppy to plot 2 and normal to plot 3. So I imagine you invited a normal or peppy villager, and a lazy autofilled ?
If so, the one you invited will move in later in one of the other plots. ^^
(And just to clarify/for reference, you'll only find normals, lazies and peppies at that point in the game)

Also, when the sold sign appears and the plot is claimed is a little funky with those three plots specifically, IIRC it only appears if you tell Tom Nook that the plots are finished and you close and reopen the game. But I might be remembering that part slightly wrong. In any case it doesn't appear immediatelly, especially if you invited an uncorresponding personality for the plot you finished

if you restart your island to redesign yes you’ll lose everything you have in storage, pockets, Nook Miles, and Bells.

if you “restart” by flattening your island and redoing the terraforming and layout that way then no you’ll just have to move things around or pick everything up before you work around whichever area you’re working on!
