Yea if I'm not totally mistaken, giving her a bunch of them should increase the chance of her wearing one, I'm not sure if default outfits have a higher chance to be picked than gifted ones, but the more fill her inventory with red kimonos the more likely it should be that she wears one

I really hope so, being able to customise my villagers wardrobes is something i'd really love. so far Stitches has a rainbow sweater, Shino has a red flashy kimono and a red blossoming kimono, and Fauna has a moms hand-knitted sweater. Hippeux has nothing.

It really just kinda varies. Technically you can also catch "sea" fish at the pier so sometimes it can take a while. They're both large shadows so if you don't want to fish smaller ones you always just reel your line in early to make them go away.

Yea that's correct, the game mechanic is a bit complex

Essentially, every player has a MIQ and a MOQ (see image). Your voided villagers go to your MOQ, and if a player whose MIQ has room visits you, a villager from your MOQ will jump into your MIQ, which is what happened there ^^

Not directly, you'd have to demolish it and build a new one in its place. For that, go talk to Tom Nook -> let's talk infrastructure -> bridges and inclines -> demolish something. Then, the next day, you can build a new one through essentially the same menu options

Not exactly, having less than 100 weeds gives you extra points. Every 30 weeds after having more than 100 weeds will reduce the bonus by one point, the bonus being fully removed with 1,000 weeds or more. But it's not like you can't have 5 stars with a lot of weeds

How do you use the nookbot?

Most trade is done by agreeing beforehand what is going to be traded, then going to someone's island using the internet (requiring a Nintendo Switch Online paid subscription, and a Dodo Code, a temporary island visit code), both players drop what they planned to trade, then each player picks up what the other dropped for them, and that's it.
For villagers it's different: when a villager asks to move out from someone's island, there will be a day where they are "in boxes", and other visiting players can invite the villager to move to their island during that day. That's what villager "trading" refers to

So if you have turnip and go forward past Saturday they will rot. If you go backwards even by 1 minute they will rot. If you don’t have turnips then you don’t need to worry about that. If you time travel longer times then your hair will be messy and there will be cockroaches in your house, both very quickly resolved, the hair fixes itself and the roaches you just gotta go around running over them. Sometimes your villagers will mention you’ve been gone for a long time and you will have weed growth. But there is nothing bad that will happen that really.

Treasure islands are islands that have free items that you can usually take as much as you want. Most of these are hacked so we don’t allow those to be advertised/looked for in the server. Some treasure islands that are not hacked are sometimes posted in #mysterybags-and-yardsales and #island-hangouts🛩️🏝️ so you may browse those channels for some, you just can’t ask for any as it’s against server rules

Connection problems sure can be troublesome. Sometimes they seem to have no apparent reason, like in your case. We can't unfortunately help you too much with it, because generally the causes are external from the game and console. For what it's worth, I have several times had a day on which I could not play with others on Animal Crossing, for whatever reason, and the problem has fixed itself by the next day. Perhaps you might be experiencing something similar? I'd also suggest inputting the error code in Nintendo's error code search (https://www.nintendo.com/en-gb/Support/Nintendo-Switch/How-to-Find-Error-Code-Information-and-Support-1513788.html) and/or googling other people's experiences and possible solutions, if you haven't already. Hope you get it working!

Plot 1 is lazy, plot 2 is peppy and plot 3 is normal. If you invited all 3 on the same day and finished all the plots then they will come in the order of the plot number not when you first got them. Or for example you just finished plot 3 first. Then the next day the normal villager will arrive. And yes the furniture requirement is paired with each personality

Honestly, the very best way is trading with others as well as attending catalog parties hosted by other players, but as the community has become less active over the years, that can be more challenging nowadays. But you mentioned you have friends who play the game, so it can be very handy to ask to catalogue something from them, or ask what their Nook's Cranny has in storage today. ^^
For offline methods, HHP is honestly a great way of unlocking new items, as you can order all of your HHP catalogue's items through Wardell. You can use sites such as https://catalogue.ac/ to see which villagers unlock which items, and keep an eye out of the wanted ones in case they show up on your beach (or use their amiibo, if you are fortunate enough to have it). Other than that, checking Nook's Cranny, the HHP office's shop and Nook Shopping Daily Selection daily are great things to do, and shooting down balloons should be advisable. There are also two items in your trees every day that fall when shaken, but finding them can be tedious if you have a lot of trees and perhaps not worth your time. Aim also to collect as many DIYs as possible, as those make up a large quantity of furniture (check villagers crafting, message bottles, balloons [<- especially for seasonal DIYs, you might have to pop a large number to get them all]). ^^ Saharah's stock should also be checked whenever she visits and every week on Harv's, as her wallpapers and floorings cannot be ordered from the catalogue. So make sure to buy few copies of ones you like! And you can also catalogue a lot of rugs through her. Those can be ordered. Hope this helps

So I was setting up for the next step in the blue rose cultivation process. I had my pink roses and yellow rose buds laid out. But after the daily reset I noticed a new pink rose bud.

Are my flowers too close together? I didn't think they would be able to reproduce without having a fully grown flower right next to it in some way. (Touching side to side or diagonally.)

Yet I ended up with a new hybrid. So I was just wondering if this is a fluke. (As in, the flower was just a clone.) Or if the single space in between the pink roses was not enough to prevent the pink roses from creating a new hybrid.

for the creatures faster than you i’ve gotten the best results catching them in a corner of the map, it might take a little time, and i have had a gigas giant clam go from one of the bottom corners to the other, but cornering them is probably the easiest but possibly time consuming way i think!

2. The intended way is to not press A at all for those, and just slowly creep up to them with only the joystick. They will only slowly move if you do that, and you should dive only when you are exactly above the shadow. ...but it's so tricky to do, you might as well just do as most people do and corner them at the map's edge lol

You should isolate the flowers (no flowers of same species in the surrounding 8 tiles), and water them. This gives them a 5% chance to create an exact clone of themselves overnight. If you want to go through the effort, having people over from other islands to water the flowers gives a significant boost to the chance to produce offspring. See the chart below for details on that! As you can see, having even one visitor over helps a ton

How it works, is that whenever you go on a Kapp'n island, the game looks if any of the specific dates assigned to the special seasonal islands exist between the date of island creation and the current date. If yes, then those islands are included in the pool of available islands. Hope that explanation makes sense

Yes, you can invite up to 3. Once you have invited 3, villagers will stop appearing on mystery islands because all plots are sold!

The plots are personality locked so you will only be able to find villagers of those personalities. If you spoke to them and invited them, then yes they will move in once you finish submitting all the furniture for those plots. They move in one per day, so it’ll take a few days for everyone to be fully moved in ^^

You have to directly give yes as an answer, otherwise they don't leave ^^ after you say yes, the day after they will be packing up their stuff, and the plot will be empty the day after that.

That's unfortunately most likely an issue with your internet. (There isn't any Switch or ACNH setting that would help.) For context, for local play, you need the other person to be in very close proximity in order to connect via local connection (hence the name). For online play, the most common issue is your network's NAT type; it has to generally be B or A for ACNH online play. You can check yours via the connection test in Switch's internet settings. If it's C or D, do you have another network you could try out, like router vs. phone hotspot for example? There are also ways to forward the ports of a router, which can improve NAT, but I don't know how it is actually done - there are guides on the internet, though. Hope you get it working!

I’m still stumped from my previous post regarding the DYI workshop. I already have that ability at my craft station so why do I not see how to get the food recipes which allows me to craft the kitchen. I’m confused

I tried to move one of my villagers houses yet the villagers icons didn’t pop up as an option to move the house

I would try going and talking to that villager. Saving and restarting and trying again.

If you have never spoken with them, the icon won't appear
