Designs with a transparent pixel will always snap to the fit any default path laid underneath. If you want to the diagonals to be seamless, you just have to use the same method under everything —default path w/custom overlay vs custom path only.

It's very complex and there is no easy rule to it, but essentially if the body of water is a big enough amount longer than it is wide, it'll be a river. And more "square" bodies will be lakes. Also, if it is connected to a waterfall or a river mouth, it will always be a river ^^

If you have less than 10 animal villagers you need to buy a plot for the amiibo

If you buy it right between completing the third crafting quest and before they ask to stay they’ll fill it right away so it shouldn’t interfere with your plans

hitting with a net does not increase or decrease their likelihood to move out. Similarly gifting trash only reduces their friendship points, but really make them any more likely to move. If the one you want out is not the last to move in, you can start TT a single day after literally any villager wants to move out (just don't reply to the move out bubble once you confirm one exists), letting it randomly re-pick which villager wants to move out each day until the one you want is ready to move out. For a more detailed explanation, refer to the comment above

You could plant lots of crops and fruit trees and then sell the fruits and crops you get from that, that's how I got a lot of bells over a short amount of time. I'd just avoid planting too many trees of your native fruit, as it sells for less than everything else

They have favorite color and style data in the files, but personally I've never seen those mentioned in any of the datamines explaining whether villagers wear something or not... maybe I missed it somewhere though, do you have any source that is not just testing?
(The only thing that I found through datamines is that male villagers will not keep something that's tagged as "female" clothing: dresses for the most part (the opposite is not true, since there is no clothing tagged as "male", it's either "female" or "default" which is unisex basically))

What issue are you running into exactly? In order to make a waterfall, you have to be standing on top of the cliff, and then shovel the piece of cliff edge that you want the waterfall on, using the waterscaping shovel

The distinction is made for trading because villagers can take gifted items with them to the new island to wear or display in their home

Villagers only "invite themselves" if you had an empty housing plot and didn't invite anyone for it: the game will eventually find one
And the last villager to have moved in can't ask to leave, the only way would be to either have another villager move in or replace them with a camper

when you have an open plot you can time travel to stay on the same day if you don't want the plots to autofill! some people also use amiibos to invite villagers to their island to get the villagers they want. villager hunting is also another way players get the villagers they want - it's travelling to NMT islands repeatedly until you find a villager you like on the deserted islands, it can be very time-consuming!
villager trades work by going to another person's island and talking to a villager moving out to invite them to your island (if you have an open plot).

• Heavy meteor showers: These are usually announced by Isabelle and discussed by villagers, with stars shooting in groups of 5 to 8 roughly every minute or so during the whole night. These are pretty rare, averaging around 10 per year.
• Light meteor showers: Only a handful of 5-star groups shoot each hour, if said hour has a clear sky. These average between 5-10 per month.
• Note that weather patterns use a seed and are set in stone for your island, including when the shooting stars will appear, to the second. You can use Ninji's MeteoNook app (https://wuffs.org/acnh/weather/) to help determine your seed and get your weather and shooting stars forecast for your island.

No, they’re still in the process of moving in. The newest villager can’t ask to move out. You would either have to move another villager in and kick the target villager out, or you can kick them out with a campsite villager. I hope this helps!

You just need to keep checking in with Tom Nook to see what you need to do for him for most of the beginning of the game to progress further in the story

Your best bet is going to be to keep talking to Isabelle to see what she wants you to work on! She gives live updates so you can keep going up to her for any changes as many times as you need. • Too many waterfalls

If you're experiencing island lag, try changing up your layout! Most commonly, that is the issue.
Unfortunately, these issues cannot be prevented with existing dream islands unless the creator optimises their island.

Without time traveling, you just need to wait for that villager to get a move-out bubble so you can say yes when they ask to leave. It might take a long while without time traveling for that villager to get a thought bubble since the whole process is RNG. Each villager unlocks specific items in HHP. All unlocked items should appear in Wardell’s catalog after you design a home for that villager. Note that items will only be available if they are items that can be ordered on your main island too (ex: DIY items can’t be purchased from Nook catalog, so any unlocked DIY items in HHP also cannot be purchased)

Partition walls, pillars and counters are all DLC-exclusive. Any of those items (or their respective DIY cards) can’t be traded without hacking anyway. But if you happened to receive one from a treasure island, unfortunately it won’t work on your island. But any other items should be usable on your island ^^

Hi, I haven't been able to respawn two of my rocks that I accidentally broke when I had my rock garden set up. My entire island has things on it besides the two spots that are reserved for the rocks. I've been time traveling trying to get them back but it hasn't worked yet I've only been able to get them to spawn in the same map square close to their designated spot but not in them.

I am not 100% sure on this, but I think a rock can't respawn back onto the same location it was destroyed in.

Somone told me that once, when I asked about rerolling the type of rock in my garden

try to just remove 2 things somewhere, then let em spawn and then destroy em again in the right location. (again not sure this is factually correct)

Try talking to Tom Nook and ask him what there is to do and he should let you know. He’s the one who gives you most tasks for you to complete in the beginning of the game

Ungifted means the villager has not been given any furniture or clothing gifts, so they only have their default clothing and home interior items. Gifted means they have been given clothing or furniture gifts, which they may wear and/or display in their home

The distinction is made for trading because they take those gifts with them to a new home, which some people may not want ^^

That is the way to find it! It’s just up to luck whether you’ll come across a bamboo island or not. Then you can bring back some of those full grown bamboo and/or dig up the bamboo shoots to plant those to grow more bamboo yourself

The only other option would be to trade for some, if you have an online membership

That is the best way! You can use some of the extra tips like having villager relocation kit in your pocket (for villager you wish to keep) to better your odds a bit, of course. But the rest is just RNG and could take time

If you restart, you will quickly get to that point of the game again: barring for the material grinding that is limited by the amount of rocks and trees you have access to, you can accomplish all of the tasks up to that point in 4 days only...

So can those red roses give blue roses?

If you made your pink hybrids with the path that leads to the pink rose marked with the star, then you are on the right track yes :) but those newest reds won't make a blue rose, you should throw them away. The thing you need to do now is to just keep on breeding the reds together that you got from the yellow and pink, and hope for the best that you get a blue 🍀
