To unlock the museum, give 5 different critters (bugs, fish, or sea creature) to Tom Nook.
• If both of these are met, Tom Nook will announce that Resident Services will be closed the following day for construction. The day after that you’ll have the building! (You can time travel to make this process quicker.)

If I time travel backwards, how does the cool down period work?

Yes, this is part of the way villagers are coded! They'll sometimes send you letters and sometimes gifts in the mail. What the letters and gifts are depends on their personality.

You can get at least one other fruit from mystery islands, and sometimes your mom will mail you a kind that isn't that or your native fruit. Coconuts can also be found on mystery islands. Otherwise, yes, you have to trade with other players to get all of them.

A lot of people ask questions about the villagers moving in and out, and when they are stuck in your village, but getting your paws on Amiibo cards makes it so that you can choose which villager to move out- even when it's your most recent addition.

You have to get a little further in to do most stuff like stairs but the pocket expansion is don't my going to the nook terminal and ordering the pocket organizer, the pole diy is given to you when you donate the 5 bugs/fish to Tom nook, stairs will come in once the resident services is upgraded and you'll be able to talk to Tom nook about building them unless you mean the ladder which is unlocked after you build ur house, nook's cranny, and ur first bridge

If you haven’t given the 5 bugs, they probably still sell stuff out of the tent. You need to continue the story and over the next few days you will get the task to collect wood and iron nuggets to make the store.

Nope. If you release a wasp, it flies away and just fades into non-existence. If you lure a wasp over to a villager, the villager will act shocked and their dialogue will be scared, but the wasp will still only chase you.

• Make sure you have at least 8 villagers. 10 villagers is the max. More villagers more points
• Put out lots of different furniture.
• Put out a lot of flowers. Put out way more than you think you need.
• Try to build the shops (upgraded nook’s gives extra points) bridges and inclines where you can, it'll help a lot with development points.
•** LISTEN TO ISABELLE! **If she talks about development or scenery, you need more development points (furniture, diy items, infrastructure, etc.) If she talks about the island's natural environment, you need more nature points (flowers, trees, shrubs, etc.). If she mentions clutter, you have to pick up all the dropped items on the ground.

there are many different methods for a perfect snowman, (if that’s what you’re after) so the one i use is the height one, where you build one snowball the height up to your avatars ear or up to the eyes, then the other one up to the chin of your avatar. It works most times, but with practice you’ll be able to do it i’m sure c:… For the mini- snow boy you could try rolling the snowballs gradually until one is made

Day 5: villager is in their house in boxes moving in

So day 3 is the important day to be there to get a villager moved in or you'll have it autofilled

Yeah ungifted means you never given them items and that means from other villagers either cuz if you deliver presents from villagers to other villagers that means they'll be gifted and then lightly or heavily gifted means either a few for lightly or a lot for heavily

That’s just how paths look when you try and lay them beside buildings unfortunately. You can try and use a custom design with no blank/missing pixels to try and fill that bit of ground up more, but it’s still gonna show either way. I hope this helps

For a design like that it would be better if you probably left the paths out if you want to see the grass in the edges, but if you still want to add them then place the paths down and put the custom designs on top. They will be one peppy, one lazy, and one normal that you’ll hunt for on NMT islands! You can try and hunt for villagers of those three personalities. Just keep in mind if you want some time to hunt for them, then wait to place the furniture down for those plots until you’re done hunting ^^

I recently restarted my island and I'm currently at the point ||where I have to buy plots from Tom Nook for 10.000 to fill the island with villagers||. I bought one earlier today, did a villager hunt and found Olive on the very first island (OMG!). So I had a lot of NMT's left for a second villager hunt, bought another plot and there was no villager on the island 🥲

Treasure islands aren’t necessarily bad, most just go against Nintendo’s ToS since they tend to be hacked. The hacked islands usually have some items that can’t be dropped once you pick them up which can be annoying to deal with, but they aren’t going to ruin your save file or anything if you visit a hacked island and was not aware that it was. Looking for treasure islands in this server is not allowed, but you can find non-hacked treasure islands from time to time in #mysterybags-and-yardsales if you’re interested in visiting one! They can be, just make sure to not pick up anything that wouldn't be obtainable from another island in regular gameplay (e.g. construction kits, lost items, items with Japanese names when your game is in another language etc. [those are perhaps the main ones]). The game can get confused and mess certain things up permanently or semi-permanently in that case. But if you stick to regular items you are good (and most treasure islands most likely only have safe items but it's good to be aware of the unsafe ones)

You can take critters but there is a quirk with them about you not getting the critterpedia entry until you actually catch them

hey @little obsidian ! to answer your question about villager trading, once a villager asks to move out, the following day they’ll be “in boxes”. during this day, if another person has an open plot of land on their island, the other person can fly to your island (if you both have nintendo switch online) and talk to the villager and ask them to move into their island. hope that helps!

You must invite an Amiibo villager and craft them their requested item 3 times in order for them to agree to move in. It doesn't need to be 3 consecutive days, just 3 days total.

• What if I have an open plot?
Amiibos still need to be invited 3 separate times, even if you have an empty plot.

• Can I choose who the Amiibo villager kicks out?
Yes, just make sure you've spoken to that villager at least once and their house isn't currently being relocated.

You can't progress the story till the end and unlock all the features without getting at least 8 villagers, unfortunately. The 9th and 10th are optional though

Ofc nothing stops you from just not progressing the story any further, but it locks you out of quite a few features

Not all kitchen items are diys. There are some kitchen diys like ironwood series (cupboard, kitchenette, cart), cutting board diy, stonework kitchen, brick oven etc, but a lot of the kitchen items are regular nook items which means they are not diys and can only be found at nooks cranny or hhp office if you have the dlc

when breeding flowers, putting 2 flowers with the same genetics next to each other and that type can either produce a new flower with new genetics, or one with the same color. do those that have the same color have the same genotypes, so they're clones? or are they flowers with the same color, but different genes?

Without context of how these purple roses are gotten I cannot give you an accurate answer. But flowers when placed together will always attempt to breed, not clone.

It is always safe to assume the offspring will not be the same as the parents, even if it is the same colour.

Alright so.

1. Two seed whites produce one possible purple. (0020)
2. 0020 Purple (Purple1) + Seed Yellow produces only one possible flower, a 0110 white.
3. 0020 Purple (Purple1) + 0110 White gives you the following outcome

The Purple2 in the video are the 0120 purples.

Breeding them together gives you this outcome, the only possible "special white" you call.

So to answer your original question. The resulting purples from Purple2, may produce the original parents (Purple2), 50% of the time.

Not exactly safe since you cannot determine if they are the 0020, or the 0120. Hope this clears your doubts.

If you wish to use guaranteed clones of the Purple2, just clone them (isolate instead of breeding them together) @azure fossil

There’s unfortunately not a super quick way, you just have to dig them up one by one. If you have NSO, you can try and hire people in #player-services to help you do some digging to get rid of them. For the future once you get rid of any unwanted flowers, you can try and place items or custom designs around them to keep them from spreading

So if the villager is in boxes today, the next day (a new day starts at 5:00 AM) the plot will be empty and that’s when you can hunt for a new villager or adopt one if you’d like! The day after that is when the plot will autofill, especially if you’ve ever visited other players before
